| Very nice condo, very clean, well appointed, with a great view. Loved the great collection of surfing videos, and the beautiful beach below. We hope to return again and would recommend it to friends without question. |

As many others have already expressed, this is one of the best condos in all of Hawaii, especially Kauai. I've vacationed on 4 of the Hawaiian islands and stayed in many different vacation condos, but this one is my favorite by far. The vacation condo is located on the quiet north shore, right next to the Princeville resort. There are many public beaches, hidden beaches, snorkeling beaches, and beach parks all around the north shore area and this vacation condo. And if you are a golf fanatic, there are many different golf courses, and a couple within walking distance of the condo. My wife and I love to Hike and this vacation condo in Kauai is near many hiking trails and paths that lead you along the coast or into the mountains. If you enjoy water sports like snorkeling, surfing, swimming, kayaking, or simply sunbathing on the beach, this vacation condo is perfect for you...there is a nice snorkeling beach right below the condo and Hanalei bay is just a 5-10 minute drive up the highway. Another thing that I love about this vacation condo in Kauai is that it's near a grocery store and close to many great restaurants. You can do your own home cooking in your kitchen as you watch the sunset or you can drive to Hanalei and enjoy a great meal at one of the many restaurants.
I've taken a vacation to Kauai during the past 3 years and have stayed in this condo each time. This past year, my wife and I decided to take our 8 month old baby to Kauai. This vacation condo was perfect for our family and felt like our home away from home. Our baby loved it as well...he crawled all over the place and even had his own bedroom. The quiet North Shore is so beautiful in the summer time. Watching the daily sunsets from the lanai or from the kitchen while you are cooking is amazing.
My wife's mom and dad (the grandparents) also came to Kauai to vacation with us and they fell in love with the condo as well. We are hoping to make this our annual vacation spot!
I can go on and on about this amazing vacation condo in Kauai. If you are planning to take a vacation to Hawaii or Kauai, you have to check out this vacation condo. You can visit their recently updated website to see photos and learn more about the condo...OR please feel free to contact me and I would love to give you all of my insights and recommendations. |

We enjoyed the condo immensely! It was the perfect way to enjoy all the North Shore has to offer in a luxurious setting. It was our first time in Kauai, and after touring around the rest of the island, I know our choice of the North Shore was also the right one. What a great community for walking and just enjoying the tropical beauty, and there was so much else to see just a short drive away (Hanalei, Na Pali coast, farmers markets etc.). We watched whales leaping and cavorting every day (thanks to the binoculars and the stunning ocean view from the lanai and sitting room). We enjoyed Hideaways Beach just below the condo, and snorkeling at the Princeville Resort (just a short walk away) on the calmer days. But a real bonus on the high surf days was sitting on the lanai and watching the extreme surfers being towed out to the 20-30 ft waves and having a go at those mountains of water. We also all got a real kick out of all of the chickens roaming free --- one of my favorite photos is of a chicken sitting at the top of a banana tree pecking away at the bananas --- you don't see that every day! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

| We had an absolutely Wonderful time staying at the condo. We typically travel to Hawaii 1-2 times per year, and have experienced a number of different accomodations on different islands. Any vacation to the islands is a treat, but this condo made our experience stand out as truly remarkable. This is a luxury experience in every sense of the word. The view is absolutely fantastic, the condo is extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The furnishings we found to be top rate, and coupled with the great views made for a perfectly relaxing vacation. As an added bonus, the location is a very nice and easy walk to great beaches and the Princeville Resort. I hope we can get back soon!! |

| We had not been to the Hawaiian Islands for some time and wanted to make sure the vacation was perfect. This condo made it so. The view and the amentities allowed us to entirely relax and live as we wanted. The North end location and proximity to great beaches made it ideal for coming and going and relaxing as we pleased. We looked forward to preparing great meals to enjoy at sunset - something that does not happen at home! Our elementary age sons loved the experience as well. We look forard to returning. |

What a magical week Deborah and I spent in your condo through last year in February! It was so beautiful that we are returning for Christmas this year with eight friends. We have reserved Pu'u Poa # 311 for ourselves because it truly does have the best vantage point for sunsets and whale watching. Directly across from Bali Hai, and just a hop, skip and a jump from the restaurants in quaint Hanalei, it is situated perfectly. The hike to Hideaway Beach just below the condos is worth it, but even better is the adventure down the Napali coast, which winds around from the north shore of Kauai down along the west side of the island. Once inhabited by small people known as the Menehune, who reportedly dwelled in the cliff walls and caves, and slept beneath the stars twinkling above the ocean seascape in a peaceful song-filled valley wonderland… see for yourself!

| Staying at the condo really made our vacation perfect. It was so nice to have everything we needed right there. I knew it was going to be nice to be able to cook our own meals and have a little more space than a hotel, but I completely underestimated how great it was going to be. The condo was beautiful, the view was beautiful, the location was perfect, the hospitality was GREAT!! I felt like I was home instead of a “tourist”, which made the vacation actually feel like a vacation. We had friends staying at a newly built resort in Wailua. It was also a privately owned condo, and while it was a nice, I wouldn’t have thought about trading. Everything about the Bali Hai condo was perfect – it’s kind of hard to explain in a paragraph. I’d also like to compliment how easy it was to deal with you and Lynn. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo. I would recommend it to anyone and will stay again when I return to Kauai. |

| Where do I even begin? We have been traveling to Hawaii for the past 10 years and almost exclusively to the North Shore of Kauai for the past 6 years. There is just no other place on Earth. And what better way to celebrate all of the amazing things about the North Shore of Kauai then this fabulous condo! We used to stay at the Princeville Hotel next door, which is very lovely. We still go over for dinners and Sunday nights for the local dancers. But now... we have this fabulous condo that we can hardly wait to get back to! The view is better then anywhere else because of the unique area that the condo is located (directly facing Bali Hai) and this unit in particular has the absolute best view because if faces directly West. PLUS... all of the little things that the owners provide make me feel like this is our own private residence. It seriously couldn't be better and we cannot wait to return! |

This is the fifth time we have been to Kauai and certainly not the last. We love the North shore and this condo is as good as it gets. With the beautiful surroundings and a perfectly located, well equipped place to stay, it just doesn't get any better.
Hopefully the powers-that-be will keep Kauai , and more particularly, Hanalai, quiet, quaint and as beautiful as it is today. Truely a reccomended unit to enjoy while experiencing the beauty the island has to offer. |

This is our 11th time to Hawaii, second time to Kauai and the first time in this very lovely Kauai North Shore condo that more than lived up to its web description. Very comfortable unit, great floor plan, nicely furnished with all the amenities thoughtfully provided. The Bali Hai view is unique to these units and a very special experience. When we come back to Kauai, this is where we'll go.
We happened to catch a front that kept raining every day off and on all day. The only thing we really missed was hiking the Napoli Trail as it was to muddy to navigate. Everything else was super terrific. Whale watching from the condo, exploring, surfing, hiking (lots), relaxing, sight seeing - this is still our favorite island and we've been to them all.

This was our 2nd time staying at this condo. The first time we stayed for 1 wk, this time we stayed for 2 wks. This tells you alot. We agree with all the previous + comments. Incredible view, beautiful interior, with everything you need. Lots of room. Great ocean breezes- no need for AC. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Truly an amazing place to stay on Kauai. Princeville golf is the best. Hope to return for a third time soon. |

| My family had planned our Hawaii trip for almost a year, and it was a neighbor who highly recommended your particular Pu’u Poa condo. Based on their descriptions we had high expectations, but we were still overwhelmed by the spectacular view and of, course the glorious sunsets. We enjoyed exploring Kauai every day but made sure we were back in time to enjoy the ever changing but spectacular view. Thanks for sharing it with us. |

| The condo is fabulous. I wondered if the view was really going to be as good as advertised, IT WAS! Very nicely furnished and appointed. Everything was terrific. We have stayed many places on the North Shore, this was by far the nicest. It doesn't hurt that you can walk to the Princeville Hotel and Hideaways (our favorite beach). This seemed expensive when we booked it. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. The only downside was that we had to come home |

I don't have words to describe the view from this condo. Wow. We've traveled far and wide and this view mesmerized us. We spent way more time just sitting on the lanai than we ever expected. Nothing beats that view! The condo was great, it had everything we needed. This was our first trip to Kauai and it is now our favorite island. We stayed for 4 nights in this amazing condo. After doing hours of research, we chose this place (and you can only hope that it lives up to your vision). This place blew our wildest dreams away. The views are ridiculous. Everything you need is right there. And even though we were late in the season, two whales put on quite a show on our last day, captured splendidly in the awesome binoculars provided in the unit.
And the snorkeling right below the condo is magnificent as well. Good fish, turtles, etc.
WOW...we shall return. |

What an awesome condo! We spent 5 nights at Bali Hai Sunset a month ago March 2007. We arrived to a spacious, tastefully decorated and clean condo. The view is definitely the best you can get in Kauai with the Pacific and Bali Hai in front of you. Everything was provided including beach mats, binochulars, boogie boards, restaurant information and snorkeling information. Lots of things you don't get at other hotels or condos. Mark and Lynn were very helpful in all aspects. We stayed at the Wailea Mariott after Bali Hai and this paled in comparson. Watching the sunsets while eating fresh fish, hiking part of the Kalalua trail and waking up to seeing the ocean right from our bed was paradise. Can't wait to go again. We have already recommended Bali Hai to many friends. Feel free to email us if you have questions.

My husband and I just spent a week at this terrific condo! This is our fourth trip to the island of Kauai in three years - all at the Puu Poa community, and this condo takes first prize with the beautiful view of Bali Hai and the incredible sunsets. It was wonderful waking up to the sound of the ocean. Great beaches within walking distance and terrific snorkeling. We couldn't recommend a better location on the north shore. I'd like to echo all of the praises written below about this condo paradise in Kauai. I've stayed at hotels and resorts across the different Hawaiian islands, but nothing compares to our stay at this Bali Hai condo. The location, accommodations, environment, and (of course) the breath-taking views from the lanai are perfect in every way. We loved waking up in the morning to the view of the bright blue ocean from our bed and cooking dinner from the kitchen as we watched the beautiful sunsets. As others have mentioned, the website, written comments and reviews about this condo can't fully capture the full essence of this heavenly paradise. And to top it off, the owners/managers of this condo are the most pleasant and professional folks to deal with. They are honest, welcoming, and helpful in every aspect. If anyone has any questions about this condo, please feel free to contact me. I will gladly share more of our experience with you....and Hope that you will also, one day, get to experience the same. | We very much enjoyed our 10-day stay in this accommodation. With the amenities and the marvelous view of Bali Hai, we actually felt pity for the poor folk who had to settle for the Princeville Hotel. The website understates what we discovered and experienced in this wonderful condominium and the surrounding area. We have stayed in a number of condominiums on several of the islands, and none measures up to this one. We found the owner to be very helpful and forthright in his dealings with us. We highly recommend Bali Hai Sunset. |

| We found paradise! Due to business, my husband could not arrive until 5 days after me. I was a little nervous about traveling alone, but at the Puu Poa I felt right at home. A couple of times I found myself on the lanai drinking coffee and watching the sunrise then grabbing a book and before I knew it I was watching the sunset with a glass of wine. It was the best "me" time I have ever had. Once my husband joined me we did a bit of exploring the island, but always found the condo to be the most perfect spot. We could cook the tuna we purchased at the fish market. We could drink our wine and just enjoy the privacy and the view and togetherness. It felt like our honeymoon (but this time it was better!) We did have to do some work and the internet connection made that possible for us. And who can complain about working when you have that view and the sound of the ocean? Thank you Mark and Linda for opening your home for us to experience. We will certainly be back! |

| We've just returned from our first visit to Kauai...rested and refreshed. And we feel so lucky to have been referred by family friends to stay in Mark and Lynn's beautiful condo. It has everything you'll ever need including information for any kind of activity you might be interested in while on the island. We spent our days hiking, golfing and snorkeling. We explored the island from one end to the other but found we always liked returning to Princeville. It's quiet and peaceful on the north shore, not too touristy. Hanalei had all the restaurants and shops we needed. Be sure to try the fish chowder at the Dolphin and breakfast at the Polynesian Cafe. The hike to Hideaway Beach just below the condos was worth it. It takes just enough effort that you'll find it rather private and great snorkeling away from the crowds. Our favorite way to end the day was with a glass of wine on the lanai enjoying the evening sunsets over Bali Hai. What a spectacular view! |

This is an absolutely wonderful condo unit in the best location on the North Shore. The views from the lanai and covered sun room are breath taking- sunsets, ocean, and moutains. The unit has beautiful furnishings and is fully equipped - it even has a computer with internet access + free wireless internet access for your laptop. In the MBR we fell asleep to the sound and sight of the ocean waves every night. There is no A/C, but every room has ceiling fans and the trade winds are constant. I am an A/C addict but in this condo there is really no need for A/C. Golf at the Prince Course (rated the best course in Hawaii) is five minutes away. Tell them you are staying at a Princeville condo- you get a discount and the round includes use of the spa for the day. Lots of incredible breaches, restaurants and great shopping all within 5-15 mins drive. This is one of the best places we have ever visited. As close to paradise as it gets. |

Pu'u Poa unit 311 is fabulous -- great views, large glass atrium, private lanai for sun or star-gazing, fully equipped kitchen, PC, stereo and even a personalized restaurant guide.
Since it was our 15th anniversary trip, we extensively researched accomodations on Kaua'i. This is the best condo complex, and unit 311 has the best views and amenities. On the quiet north shore, with ocean and Bali Hai views as good as the Princeville Resort (without the formality), close to several good restaurants in quaint Hanalei, Pu'u Poa offers the relaxing luxury we sought on Kaua'i. Views vary greatly between units in the Pu'u Poa complex -- few as good as 311.
The computer in the unit was a welcome convenience for weather updates and printing boarding passes for the departing flight. Our favorite dinner was carry-out Ahi dinners from the Polynesia Cafe, enjoyed on our Pu'u Poa lanai watching the sunset, listening to IZ on the stereo. When we return to Kaua'i, we will stay in Pu'u Poa 311 again, but we will stay longer to allow more time to explore the Na Pali Coast trails. We have demanding tastes, but found nothing to criticize about this unit. |

WE jsut had a memorable stay at Pu'u Po'a 311. When we unlocked the door, our jaws dropped open! The condo is amazing, well -appointed, immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The views are stunning. We never missed a sunset--we had 6 straight sunsets on the lanai, drinking mai tais and feeling lucky to be there. One of our party had an unfortunate accident on the Big Island for which he was hospitalized for 10 days in Honolulu, and at the end, when released, his doc "ordered" him to go to Kauai to relax before he returned home for more rehab. As he sat on the lanai watching the sun go down (not to mention the surfers and whales), he declared it was like "being in heaven without the dead part."
At the end of our week we moved to the Poipu area for 3 nights--no comparison. We realized that condos like these do not come along every day! We will definitely be back if we are fortunate enough to have the opportunity. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!
By the way, as recommended, we went to "Postcards" for dinner one night--best meal while in Kauai, hands down. Mark and Lynn know their stuff! Thanks for a great time! Sue and John Schimmels |

Pu'uPo'a condominiums is the premier condo property on Kauai. The vista from this unit is one of the finest in the world. We particularly enjoyed the view of the moonlit bay from the masterbedroom where you were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf just below. It doesn't get any better than this! Aloha; This was my third stay at the Pu'u P'oa complex, but the first time at this particular unit. What a special place! It has everything you can possible need on vacation. But the biggest asset is the VIEW and the lanai. Besides the most beautiful Kauai beaches, I spent most of my time on the lanai enjoying the breathtaking and magical views of the Pacific, Bali Hai, rainbows at daytime and countless constellations at night.
I am very happy I had chosen this unit for my vacation stay. Vacations come and go, but fondly memories of beautiful places stay with you for a long time. I definitely will return to this most beautiful island and very much would like to stay in this condo again. It will be fifficult to settle for a different unit or for anything else.
