We had a wonderful time (again) at your house at the lake! I never miss a sunrise and this wasn't an exception. Well, alright, so once or twice I watched without getting out of bed, if that counts! :)
It amazes me every time how good it is for our health; mental and physical. Even getting a little morning sun on the deck was good for me.
We took lots of photos, from one day when a storm blew through, sunsets, sunrises and birds. We had planned some others but felt pretty lazy once we got there :)
Thank you once again for the lovely visit, WE HAD A WONDERFUL, RELAXING WEEK.

We had a fabulous time. (our second stay)
The first night we went to the Robinson Casino, had dinner and played a couple of games.
The rest of the time we hung out at the house, read and played multiple games of Scrabble.
Tawny (my dog) loved, loved, loved exploring the grounds, she wants to come back again soon, as well as ourselves. It was so nice having a girl's week-end.

We had a really good time at your home. My wife and I both agree that compared with all of the vacation rental homes we have stayed at so far, you have the most comfortable bed! AND we could not believe that in your well equipped kitchen we fould all of the spices we needed to cook.
Also the rock fireplace was really nice, especially on rainy days, we spent a good amount of time reading in front of the fire.
WE HAD A VERY GOOD TIME IN YOUR COMFORTABLE, COZY PLACE. WE WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO OUR FRIENDS.

We arrived at 6pm..Great Directions...BEAUTIFUL HOME..So secluded...Enjoying the lake view immensely. Taking many pictures...Jon especially enjoys your garden, art, and literary & video libraries.
Although we own a VRBO vaction rental we have never stayed at another. I am now convinced this is the only way to travel. There's nothing that compares to having the luxuries of "home". From the fuzzy bathroom mats to the superb video library. YOU JUST DON'T FIND THIS AT RESORTS OR TIMES SHARES, OR EVEN B&B's.
WE WERE SO EXCITED WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED AT SUNSET AND SAW THE HOUSE. JON COULDN'T GET OVER HOW SECLUDED IT IS!
In my scurry to look over everything quickly on arrival I noticed the wine gift basket. Later, Jon asked if I had noticed the gift basket and I said yes, he asked did you see the note? I jumped up and ran into the kitchen. No, I hadn't seen your note. We were so touched at how personal that was. Then we noticed the chocolates. I love dark and he loves toffee...we thought you knew us!
We drove around the lake yesterday and set up your beach chairs at Clear Lake Park to have a picnic. For dinner we ate at the Harbor Lounge Asian Restaurant in Nice. The owner and food were delightful...the "Mango Prawns" excellent.
We need to make information booklets like yours for our beach house vacation rental. You gave us many great ideas.

My wife Carolyn got us both hooked on birdwatching while here. We bought our first set of binoculars and used your bird books and actually saw our first "Red Winged Blackbird". I know, I know, but it's a start.

WE JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOUR HOSPITALITY AND THE WARMTH AND SERENITY OF THE COTTAGE.
ONCE AGAIN we had an absolutely wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets (and of course the wine that has to go with them ...). IT IS HARD TO DRAW OURSELVES AWAY WHEN IT'S TIME TO GO AND ARE ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR RETURN TRIP IN MAY.
We enjoyed our relaxing week - even took the fishing poles down to the water to do a little fishing and this time we actually made it to Calistoga for a day!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE HOUSE! Your attention to detail and making sure all the comforts of home are provided sure are appreciated.
The fire being laid, the robes in the bedroom, the spices in the cupboard, the "welcome" wine, the CD's and movies were only a few of my favorite things!
I did some wine tasting, and really enjoyed the Ceago Winery up the road. Also visited Tulip Winery.
Anyway, I have attached a few pictures for you to have. NO DOUBT YOU HAVE SEEN SOME UNBELIEVABLE SUNSETS, BUT I MUST ADMIT THEY SURE MADE MY STAY EVEN MORE MEMORABLE!

We spent a lot of our time there bird watching,it's a very pleasant way to pass the time. The waxwings were a treat, and two types of ducks came in, in large groups. One left, but the mallards stayed.
Thank you so much for letting us spend an extra night at the house! I would have loved to have taken advantage of your offer of a few more days, but it just wasn't possible at this time.
Thank you also for allowing my parents to stay one evening, we had such a good time there, and the time with my parents was priceless!

JIM AND I HAD A WONDERFUL AND RESTFUL TIME. The weather was a little cooler than when we ususally go to Clearlake, but not a problem.
WE ABOLUTELY LOVED YOUR HOME! I was surprised to find out that it was quite a bit larger than we thought it would be. ALL OF THE LITTLE EXTRAS PROVIDED BY YOU WERE VERY THOUGHTFUL AND APPRECIATED. AND THANK YOU FOR THE BASKET OF GOODIES AND THE BOTTLE OF WINE!
WE ENJOYED THE WONDERFUL VIEW FROM THE DECK AND EVEN SAW A DEER IN THE BACK YARD AREA.
We had no trouble with backing up the trailer. This was the first time that we trailered the Motorcycle to Clearlake. IT WAS GREAT RIDING AROUND THE LAKE AND THROUGH WINE COUNTRY ON THE HARLEY. We did some wine tasting, visited Western Town and went to a couple of casinos. We took some lovely pictures of the lake and your cottage.
My In-laws usually visit Clearlake once a year, my Father-in-law is into Bass Fishing, and they are interested, as are our neighbors in possibly staying at your cottage. I directed them to your website ad have told them how great you and Steve are.

NORTH SHORE COTTAGE BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES FOR ME OF CAMP STAYS IN THE ADIRONDACKS OF NEW YORK. EVEN THE AROMA AS I ENTERED REMINDED ME OF LIFE ON A LAKE.
BIRDS EVERYWHERE, WATER LAPPING AGAINST THE
SHORE, THE HUM OF THE BOAT ENGINES IN THE DISTANCE MINGLED TOGETHER AS PLEASANT BACKGROUND FOR RELAXING ON THE DECK, MY FAVOITE SPOT.
COFFEE, TEA, OR A COLD DRINK WITH A GOOD BOOK AND THE SPEAKERS PLAYING VIVALDI, NOW THAT IS QUITE THE COMBINATION FOR MY TASTE.
MARY PRACTICED BALLET AND GRACE WROTE, AND WE THREE HAVE MEMORIES OF SPRING BREAK '07' TO SHARE FOR YEARS TO COME!

The location was gorgeous, A great place to get away, but there was still plenty to do.
We enjoyed the large deck, nice yard and the tons of kitchen utensils, pots, pans and spices!

At night it was dark enough to see lots of stars.
