Jack, you have given me cause to restore my confidence in "Vacation Homes By Owner." I think I alluded to the fact that we had a disagreeable experience with an accommodation arranged in Paris last summer: glowing representations...disastrous situation on arrival!
Now we find that we have the perfect place for our needs in N.O.; let alone the nostalgia of being within a few blocks of the shotguns on Elysian Fields my family lived in when I was a small child. The arrangement you provided was just right for Mandy and me; room to spread around, comfortable setting, etc. Many thanks.
This was an ideal arrangement for our stay. Thanks for making things so accommodating.

| We just returned from a week at this house and it was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal and the property gives you a true feel of Marigny / Quarter living. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends without hesitation. Jack (owner) was very helpful and was very respectful of our privacy. |

The accomodation was certainly a gem and we enjoyed our trip immensely! Jack was ever so gracious (that Southern hospitality at work!) and kept in close communications as the exact time of our arrival on the first day changed a few times, but Jack was right there, literally, as we pulled up to the apartment.
The apartment itself was clean, comfotable, and nicely decorated. The refrigerator was stocked with fresh juice, water, soda, bagels/cream cheese/butter and english muffins/jelly...A nice and appreciated touch, indeed:)
The neighborhood was quaint and a bit bohemian (which certainly tickled this artist's fancy:)and it was just a short (and pleasant) walk to the French Quarter.
Jack was kind enough to offer us a map and give us the "low down" on the best places to go, dine and hear music.
The energy of this town could NOT be beat, we just LOVED it and this accomodation, made the trip just that more sweet!
Thanks Jack....we will see you again for sure! |

Had a fantastic trip. The house was perfect! Really appreciated the extras like bagels, cokes, box fan(nice for noise to sleep by), hair dryer, lots of towels and washcloths, vcr, microwave and comfy beds. Really liked the quiet location. Felt at home. We'll stay with you again.

Thanks for the low down on the town. You're right. Frenchman Street is the happenin' spot to be. We had a great time. I think you could use a couple of coffee mugs for butch java heads like me. Plenty of towels and the drinks, H2O, and OJ were a nice touch. Call if you're ever in Tallahasse.

This is a great place very close to Frenchman St. I rented it for
jazzfest and would recommend it to anyone. The hosts are great. Quiet
neighborhood but a very short walking distance to clubs and restaurants.

Everything was quite comfortable and the beautiful poinsettias were a real pleasure. Your flat is very well appointed and had everything we could possibly need. Thanks very much for the drinks and breakfast items....saved us a few steps, although your home is so convenient to everything...close enough to the Quarter, but private and quiet.

Convenience is key here if you are planning tourists activities. This place is walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The French Market, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, etc. The Phoenix Bar is one block away as is Cowpokes Bar and theatre. Perfect for Southern Decadence, Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, or any time of year. I stayed two months.
