| This property lives up to it's description and then some. It's the view that did it for me. It will take your breath away. Comfortable, well equipped and serene. I highly recommend this condo!! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home in the beginning of January (09). Everything was as described and you couldn't ask for a better view or cozier feel. We loved lighting the fireplace and playing the games provided with our sons. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and well maintained. We'd love to come back when the trees are in bloom. Please check out the hikes, you can get a map at the nature center or main check in area at the ski resort. |

My family and I had the absolute joy of visiting Wintergreen for the first time last week and staying in the White's fantastic condo. The condo was just perfect... and I don't think the photos or description do it justice. The view is absolutely amazing and worth a visit all by itself. The location is ideal and close to everything... the Devil's Knob golf course and terrific restaurant, a new little coffee/snack shop, and the wonderful Chestnut Springs owner's pool (which we much preferred over the Wintergreen Pool... which is less shady, more crowded - and costs $15 to visit).
We found the condo to be extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. The decor is understated and charming and really adds to the tranquil environment. The layout of the condo is also ideal - pen and airy common areas with bedrooms far enough away to allow for privacy and quiet (...which was important to us with an 8 month old occupying one bedroom!). We also loved the huge soaking tub!
We have already recommended this condo to our friends and can't wait to come back! |

| This condo has magnificent views of the Blue Ridge and is nicely furnished, including some amenities (soap and shampoo) missing from other rental places at Wintergreen. It was just what I was seeking for a relaxing get-away. |

We had a wonderful vacation last week. Your condo is beautiful and that view just takes your breath away. It was a quiet, restful, peaceful retreat - we read,
had massages, went swimming and truly got away from the world for 5
days. We can't wait to come back again. We've stayed at other condos at Wintergreen and trust me, yours beats them all! Your helpful instructions and guidance were most appreciated. Thanks fo a wonderful stay...we'll be back!

| We had a beautiful and relaxing weekend in this terrific spot. The view is spectacular. We awoke early one morning just to sit and watch the sun come up across the Rockfish Valley. The two comfortable reading chairs by the window make a perfect spot for a lazy day. |

| Your condo was much more than we expected, very accomodating! The view takes your breath away. We even got to ski considering the recent warmer temperatures. The resort IS making snow at temperatures above freezing. |

| Oh what a wonderful place. We just returned from the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend in Wintergreen. Our experience was greatly enhanced by this wonderful Condo. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for, and far surpassed our expectations. The views from this condo are just amazing. There is nothing like waking up in the morning and enjoying breakfast while overlooking the Rockfish valley and Blueridge Mountains from your own private balcony. The condo even has wireless internet access, so you can "stay-in-the-loop" which is important to my husband. It was perfect! We're already discussing when we're going to return. |

We had a great time at Wintergreen. Your condo was easily the nicest we've
stayed in there--and we've stayed in lots of them! Loved your choice of
artwork and the well equipped kitchen. After days of stifling heat and humidity, the mountain was cool and breezy--just perfect. Turned on the AC for only an hour or two when we first arrived and thereafter enjoyed the breeze. We had a boxseat for watching the 4th of July fireworks from the porch! Hope we can return soon.

We rented High Ridge Retreat May 8-11. What a wonderful Mother's Day! The condo is extremely comfortable. It is situated on the second floor for easy access and has a magnificent, unobstructed view of the Rockfish Valley and beyond. One of the condo’s two decks sets right on the mountain ridge just above the tree line. We found this generous and protected spot to be a retreat for bird watching. Here’s a brief list of some we saw in early May:

| We rented Daphne and Don's retreat for friends who were attending our son's graduation, and they were delighted. My husband and I are also owners at Wintergreen, and we have seen many units there. This one is one of the best. It is more spacious than many, and the vista of distant mountains and sky from the windows gives a sense of vastness that invites true relaxation. Our friends enjoyed watching sunrises, and later in the day, distant heat lightning. They sunk into the comfortable sofa and just enjoyed the respite from their busy lives. Daphne was friendly and gracious in her telephone conversations about the arrangements for rental and prompt with sending the keys. She included helpful information about the unit and nearby recreational facilities. We will definitely use the unit again. |

| The condo is beautiful and very well appointed. It was set up more conveniently than my own home! My husband and I spent almost our entire time staring out the huge windows in the recliners and sitting on the deck. The view is hypnotic! We loved watching the sun and shadows on the mountains! We also loved using the fireplace. Thank you Don and Daphne for sharing your mountain retreat with us. We plan on coming at least once a year now! |

Our visit was during the month of September, and the weather was perfect each day. The condo is beautiful, spacious, classy, and comfortable with breathtaking views. High Ridge Retreat is an ideal place to get away, relax, and enjoy God's magnificent creation!
Thank you, Don and Daphne, for offering such a fabulous "vacation home", as our 7 and 3 year old call it.

I stayed at High Ridge Retreat this summer with my
parents and nine-year old son. What perfect
accomodations for people of all ages! My parents
enjoyed taking it easy and soaking in the fabulous
views, eating a late breakfast and working
crossword puzzles on the deck, while my son and I
enjoyed the many activities at the resort. The condo
was very comfortably appointed, with everything we
could possibly need and plenty of privacy. And we
were all impressed by how tasteful and interesting
the decor was--High Ridge is a wonderful
combination of luxury and comfort. I've been
coming to Wintergreen for a number of years now
and have finally found the perfect condo to return
to! |

Thank you so much for sharing your condo, the spectacular views of the
sunrise, the snow flakes (YES, IT EVEN SNOWED FOR US!), the beautiful
valley below, and the clear views of the mountain and ski slopes. The combination was more than we could ask for!
Your condo, located on a beautiful high mountain ridge, is welcoming,
cozy, comfortable and luxurious. The condo is well equipped and you are
right...an absolutly gorgeous piece of driftwood hangs over the
fireplace. Our son and nephew both want to move to HighRidge!
Thank you again for your hospitality. We live in Virginia Beach so you
can count on hearing from us (and our friends) again!

| What a great place for a family getaway. Very cozy and comfortable. The condo was filled with everything you would need and lots of extras. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise each morning, spent the day on the slopes and the night in front of the fire. Hope to return next year!!! |

Thank you for sharing such beautiful accommodations with us! It was so spacious and comfortable, and the quality of the condo was really luxurious. So much bettter than a hotel room. The view was amazing. I was a travel agent for almost 20 years, so I have a pretty discerning eye when it comes to accommodations! I looked at a lot of places online before we chose High Ridge Retreat, and it surpassed my expectations. We'll be back again!
