| I stayed in this lovely apartment in October 2007 for one week. It was a lovely vacation. The view from the windows is magical. During the day you can watch the activities on the beach and the bay. At night it is a fairyland of lights. So beautiful. The apartment is well located. A short walk to the old town with lots and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Or a short walk to the beach. The apartment has everything you would need including a washer and dryer. Menton is a wonderful town. So much nicer than Nice, but an easy drive to all of the sights. I hope to go back and I will stay at this apartment again. The owner was vey nice and helpful. |

| I spent the month of October 2006 in the apartment. The photos do not do it justice. There is the ocean, the sand, the promenade and the apartment! The loft bedroom is very quiet. The morning fitness walk was a choice of toward Italy or toward Nice. Nearly every meal was eaten in. The kitchen is first rate. The transportation system is excellent. One really would not need a car. I would love to return. |

Our weeklong stay in Menton was the perfect ending to our honeymoon. The apartment was very spacious (more than enough room for the two of us) and had all the imenities we could have wished for. Although, since we were so close to so many amazing restaurants we never used the kitchen. We did rely on the washing machine (which was great!)
We were there late September/early October and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed time relaxing on the beach, touring the town and also sightseeing in nearby Nice, Monaco and Italy. But Menton is by far the best place to stay along the Cote d'Azur.
We would definetely recommend this place! |

We agree with everything the other guests have said. One other wonderful thing is that you can go to sleep and wake up hearing the Mediterranean waves gently lapping on the shore.
This beautiful apartment made our holiday perfect. You can stand at the window and see, feel and smell all the wonders of the Cote d'Azur. It's heavenly.
Many thanks to Mrs. Vassalo for her help, warmth and charm. And to the apartment's owner for his friendly and helpful information.
No question - when we return to Menton it will be to this apartment!

| I stayed at this lovely apartment the months of January and February, 2006. It was a wonderful winter stay and I can't recommend this apartment enough. The view out the window is breathtaking. As I had my coffee in the morning I could watch Menton come alive on the promenade and sea below. The apartment is a perfect location - five minutes to everything. The old city, where the apartment is located is the most charming part of this beautiful city. The owner is very helpful and accomodating. I will definitely return next year and to this apartment. |

Lovely modernised flat combining a feeling of space and
light with wonderful
views of the promonade, sea and beach.
Approached via ancient and historic street in the old town
with stepped
streets and linked traverses. Two minutes to first
boulangerie and thence
into traffic free spacious streets flanked by bars, shops
and restaurants.
WE had a wonderful holiday in this flat and will definitely
go back again.

Well here we are back at work in New Zealand after our trip overseas.
We had a wonderful time and especially our stay in Menton in your apartment. It is a beautiful place to visit and we also saw Nice, Monaco and other areas close by. The apartment was wonderful and the views were lovely. We experienced a lot of nice meals with good wine including a memorable meal on our last night at the restaurant outside the front door of the apartments. Thank you for the good directions and maps you provided us and please pass on our thanks to Mrs Vassalo who was very kind and helpful.

| We loved Menton, and the apt.was perfect--a greatlocation in the old part of town. The views from the apt. are incredible. One can see the sparkling water of the Mediteranean sea and the coast of Italy. Even the views from the skylights are beautiful. The apt was very spacious for the two of us. The kitchen was very well equipped but with so many choices of restaurants we chose not to use it except for morning coffee. Menton is an excellent location for side trips to the towns of the Cote D'Azure, and into San Remo, Italy. These trips can be made by car, or the train in Menton is very convenient also. We saw a lot of this area, but always felt that Menton was our favorite town. It is easily walkable, with good shops and a tremendous choice of restaurants. The owner of the apt. is very helpful with the information he provides, and the woman who welcomed us to the apt was very gracious although she only speaks French and Italian. We recommend this apt. and location although we would really prefer to keep it a secret for ourselves! |

| We stayed in the apartment for a couple of weeks in early June of this year. The view is truly remarkable, and the apartment was quite comfortable. It's a great base to explore the Cote, and adjacent italian coast. The owners are very kind, and everything was as good or better than promised...we plan to visit again! |

| We had such an incredible stay! The apartment is absolutely beautiful, with breath taking views! Menton itself is a gem of the cote-d'azur! And the apartment is in the ancient part of city, which makes it all the more spectacular! We both highly recommend this rental!! |

| The apartment was wonderful It was "home" for our two week stay. We had everything we needed and the view was fantastic. The landlord was great about providing information about the area, travel from the airport, car rentals, maps, etc. He was very helpful and pleasant to work with. |

We would highly recommend this apartment with a spectacular view over the sea. A very functional apartment with all necessities made life easy even with a baby of 1,5 years (there is a steep flight of stairs to the bedrooom upstairs so small children needs to be watched over). We were very warm welcomed by a fantastic lady who only spoke French but that only added to the charm of this place. We were there during 14th of July and the fireworks experienced from this apartment beats everything I have ever seen before. We would definitely go again to the beutiful city of Menton and spend some time in this apartment.

Our three week stay in France last summer was wonderful but the highlight of the whole vacation was this apartment in Menton. The location was fabulous with a view to the Mediterranean, close proximity to the beach, shopping and a lively nightlife.
The apartment's bedroom loft provided privacy and the combined kitchen, dining, living area was spacious and airy. Very modern updates in a quaint, old building provided us with great cooking and laundry facilities.
I would return again and again to this historic area...we were told by an ancient lady in the neighborhood that Napoleon Bonaparte rode down this street. A fabulous place. |
