Gazebo Creek was such a wonderful find. The cabin was so comfortable after a long hike and the fact its pet friendly, A+.
The wine was a welcome sight upon our arrival and was very nice. Being so close to Unicoi was an absolute bonus.
Thanks again and we most certainly will stay again when our travels take us that way.

Thank you so much for allowing to stay in your cabin over the weekend. The cabin was all that we had hoped for...secluded yet close to the Helen strip and Unicoie Park...very warm and cozy...perfect size. We had cabin fever most the weekend since it was raining and we LOVED every minute of it! Next time we decide to have a Mountain weekend...we will definitely be looking up Gazebo Creek's availability.
Also, the bottle of wine you guys left for us was thoughtful and very tastey!

Thank you for allowing my best friend and I to stay in your cabin. It gave us the opportunity to catch up on lost time. We had not seen each other in nearly a year. The cabin was everything we expected and more. We were able to enjoy walking our dogs. The town of Helen was nice and we enjoyed Anna Ruby Falls. Enjoyed dinner at the Hoffbrau for my birthday. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat away from all the stress of everyday life. Can't get any better. Again thank you. |

We loved the cabin, so cozy and friendly.The town of Helen was only a few minuutes down the road and after a fun day in town the hot tub sure was great to relax in. We found a good restraunt called La La's 2minutes up the road, everything place was so convient to the cabin.Thanks for sharing your home with us can't wait to come back next summer!

| My lady friend and I thouroughly enjoyed our stay from August 6 to 9. Everything turned out to be as advertised. We made especially good use of the hot tub. Thanks to the seclusion, skinny-dipping is recommended. Not for the faint-of-heart, of course. Nearby Helen offers some great restaurants for all meals except breakfast. The only decent full breakfast to be had was at the Unicoi Lodge which is very close to the cabin. |

| We had a great time at the Cabin over the Labor Day week-end. We enjoyed walking around Helen, going to the parks and falls and doing hiking. We also went golfing a couple days which Innsbrook was a real chalenge but very beautiful. We especially enjoyed the Cabin and playing games in the evening. It was great and we will probably come back again. Your Cabin is close to a lot of places. You have it decorated very nice. |

| We had the pleasure of visiting in the cabin in August. We met my brother and his wife there for our first family get together since we lost our Mother. We had a great time just hanging out and wandering around Helen. The cabin is the perfect place to get together and talk about all the things going on in our lives. My mother is 87 years old and this was a time for me and my three sisters to spend some time with her while we still can. We did go into Helen but we spent most of our time at the cabin reliving the past. Your cabin was perfect, it was dark when we got there and a light was on inside, the hot tub was already reset for us, we loved al the home interior as we all have some of the same in or homes, the beds were very great as we all are over 60 and no one woke with any back pain. We picked the perfect place for our time with mother and she loved it. The only thing you had not told us was that the driveway makes a sharp downhill turn and with it being dark we almost went into the woods which is something you might want to think about puting on that wonderful list with all the info we needed for when we first arived.
WE LOVED THE CABIN AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE PRICE WAS ALSO GREAT. THANKS SO MUCH.

Went to "the Cabin" for a Girls Weekend back in June. The2nd Annual Georgia Wine Growers Association Wine Festival at nearby Blackstock Winery was the place to be. We had a wonderful time, and the HotTub was the perfect way to relax after a hectic day of wine tasting. Cabin was very neat, and as welcoming as always! Thanks Again!

| My mother, myself and my 2 children ages 12 and 7 stayed at Gazebo Creek Cabin July 17th - 19th. We had the most wonderful time, it was so much nice than a hotel so nice and cozy. After a hard day of shopping and river tubing ( you got to try that fun for the whole family) it was so nice to hop into the hot tub and relax.All 4 of us just loved it. We plan to go back as soon as we can. |

| This was our first time staying in a cabin in Helen. (7/19 - 7/23/09) We usually stay in town but I wanted to find a place where the children (2 & 7) would have a good place to play in the water and out in the yard. The creek was just right for the two year old. Peyton (7yr old) found some deer tracks down next the water the morning after we got there. He was very excited. We could sit down next the creek (on the swing) in the evening while the children played in the creek and we could just sit and watch the mountain as the sun went down behind it. Got some great pictures. I have to say my mom, niece and her children and myself had a great time. The Gazebo Creek cabin was the perfect place. It was close to everything we did. We went to Babyland in Cleveland, Bear park, tubing, mining for gems, carriage ride, went to the smallest covered bridge, went on a picnic down next the stream close to town, did some shopping (Helen & Cleveland), went to the grits mill and for dinner we went to some nice places to eat in Helen. I just have to say again the place itself was great. Clean and very nicely decorated. Kids loved Billy Bass. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub, saw a lot of fireflys, which I haven't seen in years. We sat out on the back patio and ate cold watermelon and I have to say we didn't have any bugs. The weather was nice. Mid to 80's during the day and high 60's at nite. I would recommend this cabin to all my friends and to anyone else that is interested in visiting Helen. Thanks to the Young's for making this a pleasant vacation. |

| We truly enjoyed our stay at Gazebo Creek cabin back in April 09. The scenery was very relaxing. The cabin was located in a peacful surrounding and had we felt very much at home. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the peaceful surroundings. It was also nice to be close to town but not in the middle of all the traffic. |

| My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Gazebo Creek during the second week of June. We like the location which gives us easy access to a lot of the activities we enjoy doing (hiking, mountain biking & kayaking). The cabin amenities include all the comforts of home and more. The jacuzzi is relaxing and easy to operate. The yard is kept up very well and our two dogs enjoyed exploring. We also appreciate the outdoor lights for the dogs when taking them out at night. | My wife and I just recently stayed this past weekend; just for a little getaway with our little jack russell. I can honestly say this was in my #1 cabin experience. I have stayed in quite a few cabins within Helen and Blue Ridge area and this one was just simply the least stressful. Skip was and is a ridiculously nice man you will love to talk to him! He made the cabin transaction to easy, no management co. to deal with, which is great. You will get one on one attention with Skip and he covers all the details. If you have a question he will have the answer. And I looked at literally hundreds; I mean like 200- 250 cabins in roughly a 2 week period and Gazebo Creek was hands down the easiest to deal with. Fair per day pricing and no absurd fees tacked on all over the place, that was the part that amazed me the most. The deal that Skip tells you, bank on it thats exactly what you will get no surprises! The place was very clean and every thing you would want and need is there trust me on that! Just pack a change of underwear and some food everything else is already there! lol |

| I spent a good amount of time looking for the perfect place for me and my family to spend a long weekend in Helen and Unicoi for a friend's wedding. All my hard work paid off when we found Gazebo Creek! Skip and Jean have a wonderful cabin and spared nothing in making it a home away from home for visitors. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The accommodations were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was superb and the deck and gazebo were great for entertaining guests from the wedding. On top of all this, my five year old son and eight year old daughter had a great time and spent loads of time in the backyard and down by the creek. I can say with all certainty that I will not stay at any other cabin in the Helen area from now on. Thanks again to Skip and Jean. Everything was great, don't change a thing, and we can't wait to come back!! |

My wife and I met my brother and family last weekend at Gazebo Creek cabin in Helen. Was just like the pictures when we arrived. Was very comfortable and cozy; all of us agreed "this is great!"
Even on a rainy weekend we had a great time...the hot tub is covered and we all love a fireplace. We went panning for gold near Dahlonega which is not a far drive.
Skip (the owner) made us feel welcome and appreciated...thank you. We had fun.... |

The hot tub and fireplace are wonderful.
Skip is extremely easy to work with and neither of
us had any complaints. Our dogs enjoyed their

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Gazebo Creek cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and we LOVED that we didn’t have to leave our dog at home. The pictures of the cabin and yard on the web site is a true representation of what we found when we arrived. We enjoyed doing a lot of nothing and just unwinding, but we did take time to walk around the town of Helen – which is a short 8 minutes drive away.

| My wife, her mother and I recently stayed at Gazebo Creek for a 2 night getaway. A pleasant suprise awaited us as we stepped through the front door. Skip and Jean had decorated the cabin for the Christmas holidays (as can be seen on this web site). The mantel to the beautiful (and very inviting) fireplace was decorated and there was even a (fully decorated) Christmas tree with beautifully wrapped gifts beneath. Speaking of gifts, our freindly hosts left us a bottle of wine from the Hamersham winery in town (Helen) It's definately a collectors item - as Skip has put his own (Gazebo Creek)signature label on the bottle(s). The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. We cooked all our meals at the cabin (all we did was bring our food). There was also (always) plenty of ice -great ice maker in freezer. What can I say... I could go on and on about-the deck, the gazebo, the swing by the creek, hot tub etc...I guess you'll just have to see for yourself. Although I've never met them, Skip and Jean seem like great people. You can almost feel their presence in the cabin. If you visit, please take time to notice all the personal touches and time and care that went into creating sucj=h a warm and friendly environment. And OH yea... they are pet friendly. Enjoy life!!! |

| We spent 5 glorious days here. My 5 year old grandson came with us and loved every minute of it. In fact, he wanted to stay 90 days! This cabin is very clean and you have everything you need. The Young's left a bottle of wine for our arrival which I think is very thoughtful. The hot tub, creek and the beautiful scenery will make you not want to go home. My husband, daughter, son-in-law, 14 month old grandson and myself loved Gazebo Creek. Having stayed in motels in Helen previously Gazebo Creek was like being at home or better. Clean, two nice bedrooms, two baths and a great room - what more could you ask for. The cabin has all that's needed-TV's, games, videos, dishes, pots & pans, gas grill, a beautiful fire place, and more. We loved the hot tub and the double porch was great. Our grandson loved walking back and forth on the porch and he was safe and secure. Helen and other attractions are only a short drive from Gazebo Creek cabin. Information from Skip was right on and easy to understand and follow. Thanks Skip for a great place - your call to find out if we had gotten home ok was really thoughtful. We like to travel - having stayed in hotels and bed & breakfast - yours is right up on top as one of the nicest places. As I said everything was perfect - thank you - your family are in our prayers.

| As one who is anxious about staying in a new place, I can truly say how amazed I was at the completeness (attention to detail), thoughtfulness (little niceties), cleanliness, and all-around home-away-from-home feeling Gazebo Creek gave me and my 12-year-old granddaughter! Before I could even unpack, my granddaughter was settling in 'her' room and only came out after she had made it 'her own!' For me, the cabin felt like 'my own' as soon as I walked in. From the spacious rooms to the incredible decor, this cabin is everything anyone could want. The only problem was that I slowed down so much it took a week to get back into gear!!! Thank you, Skip and Jean, for a wonderful week! We can't wait to get there again (next week - YAY!!!)!!! |

| We had a great time. My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough. Everything was perfect. It was well stocked and very comfortable. It felt like home. The hot tub was great and the weather was just right. We stayed in two of our three nights and ate at the Dillard House the other. Helen is a beautiful town and the cabin is in a great location. We love the decks over looking the creek. We are already planning a trip in the fall and look foward to staying at your cabin agian. |

| Refreshing is one of the many adjectives that comes to mind in describing our stay at Gazebo Creek. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very well stocked for an enjoyable stay. We are frequent visitors to Helen and had been unable to find hotel accommodations we really enjoyed. Now we have found our home away from home and are already looking forward to our next visit. We didn't take advantage of the well appointed kitchen since we enjoy eating out when on vacation, but we did thoroughly enjoy the hot tub and the peace and quiet of the surroundings. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin. Thank you Skip and Jean for sharing. We absolutely loved it!! |

Our family loved Gazebo Creek! The kids put on their coats and played games in the gazebo when they weren't in the hot tub. The grownup's appreciated the bottle of wine, and it induced us to return to the winery and bring a few bottles home again.
We enjoyed visiting Helen, as usual, and know where we'll stay next time we go that way! We have also told friends about the cabin.

| This place is fabulous! I could have just lived there!! My dogs and I went down before Christmas and not only was the cabin charming on its own,but Skip and Jean had the entire cabin (inside and outside) decorated for Christmas. It was so nice to be able to go to such a lovely place and feel comfortable taking your furry children with you. There was even a gate on the wonderful back deck to keep the dogs on the deck!! The place is just perfect in every way - location (close to hiking trails, Helen, Sautee), scenery, comfort, hot tub, swing and gazebo down by the creek, very secluded. Skip was so accomadating in every way. It just has all the extra touches including a bottle of wine from the local winery!! |

Really had a wonderful stay at Skip & Jean's cozy cabin. This was our second time renting this place. We highly recommend this to others who are looking for a very nice retreat in the North Georgia Mountains. Skip could not be more accomodating.
We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the afternoons enjoying a glass of wine and just chilling out. Skip & Jean provide everything for a get-away, hot tub, gas grill, gas fireplace, plenty of fresh mountain air and even a bottle of wine upon arrival. Thanks again. |

We have stayed at other VRBO properties and this is by far the nicest and the best value. Many others charge a pet fee and cleaning fee which this one did not. We plan to stay there again when we are in the area. |

| We stayed at Gazebo Creek June 1 - 8, 2007. It was like staying at a friend's house. Skip was very helpful answering our questions when we were preparing for the trip. The information packet he sent prior to our arrival included everything we needed. The cabin's location is perfect if you want to enjoy the mountains. We did lots of hiking and mountain bike riding and day trips to parks in NC and TN. There are some great little shops to visit and lots of local crafts and pottery. Make sure to visit the mills and old time genral stores in the area. We appreciate Skip and Jean allowing us to bring our dog, Bernie. He loves getting away from the palm trees and heading up to the mountains. Wish we had stayed another week! Thanks Skip and Jean for sharing your cabin. We hope to do it again soon. |

After our long drive from Fl, 1st on the aganda was to heat up the hot tub. Next was to toast Jaene & Skip with the wonderful bottle of wine from Habershams. The cabin, view and location were all so wonderful. Nora Mills, Habersham winery & The Old Bavarian Tavern (for dinner) are musts...Innsbruck Golf Club was beautiful and a challange. The golf paths are real steep with alot of sharp turns! Being on the deck with your coffee in the am with the birds singing was the best start to every day. Anna Ruby Falls is a short trip & a mile hike (well worth the view). Breakfast at Unicoi Lodge is a treat too. The Youngs' did an outstanding job in making our stay outstanding.

| 1st on the agenda after driving from Fl was to heat up the hot tub. 2nd was a toast to Jeane and Skip with the nice botle of wine they left from Habersham Winery. The view was wonderful, serene and so relaxing. We made stops at Nora Mills Granary, Habersham Winery, Anna Ruby Falls, Old Batesville Restaurant (for biscuits), Innsbruck Golf Club (for a challange with the golf cart (paths) and ate brekfast at Unicoi park. Dinner was overwhelming at the Old Bavarian Inn in Helen and we got to see the hotair balloons... and of course the house was great! We plan to be back soon to share your mtn views. What a wonderful way to unwind. If we didn't get so comfortable on the deck we may have made it to more sights. Oh! Did I mention the hot tub and the wine? |

Kamla and I stayed at this cabin for the first time the weekend of 4/20--4/22.
We have stayed at the Youngs other 1 bedroom loft, two bear before and it was perfect. How do you improve on pefection you ask ? You add another bedroom, (to make it 2), a bigger hot tub (4-6 person),a creek ,a gazebo and kids, (your own) LOL, and have fun.
Skip and Jean, you and your cabins are all blessing to enjoy !!!

| We enjoyed our stay at Gazebo Creek last weekend. My sisters, our mother and I had a great time playing board games in the gazebo. The jacuzzi was especially peaceful in the morning when the birds were singing. My mother and I enjoyed the swing by the creek in the evening. I hope to bring my grandchildren here in the summer. This was such a lovely respite from start to finish. Skip is so easy going and you just want to hug him from the moment you meet him on the phone. The cabin is a dream! Just decorated so fun you could spend an hour just looking at the things they have all over. Clean as a pin. SO PRIVATE! Nice bottle of wine from Skip! So thoughtful! We can't say enough about what a special place this is! Board games, jacuzzi, etc., etc. Skip will send you the key, directions for the security system, etc. Then this place is your own little slice of heaven. We REALLY loved it. Be sure to find your way over to the Mark of the Potter - just a short way up the road. Amazing place where you can feed a frenzy of trout. Alpine Helen is fun, even on a very rainy day! Don't miss the restaurants that Skip recommends and gives discounts to.
This remains a very special memory for us. You will not be disappointed! |

| Reading all these messages is such a WONDERFUL thing!! I've stayed in this cabin a few times, but not under the current owners. I stayed here while my parents were building it! For as long as I can remember, my mom has always wanted a cabin on the river in Helen & we would spend their anniversary weekend at the Chalet Christy downtown. When they decided to build this cabin (their first), they put all the little details that my mom wanted in her own cabin. The creek didn't make enough "relaxing noise", so we added rocks to the little waterfalls to create our own little PADS (Patience, Angie & Don Sounds)! My mom took great pleasure in decorating the cabin and couldn't wait until Christmas to decorate for the season! I'm SO happy to see that what she started is being continued and that there are so many guests enjoying one of the many cabins my parents have built! |

As soon as we stepped through the door we felt like we were "home" What a lovely cabin...and decorated for Christmas...what a nice touch:) It was clean, well stocked and pet friendly...and a good value...what more could you ask for? We had a great time, the cabin felt like "home" as soon as we stepped in. The Christmas decorations were such a nice touch, and nicely done. Our dog "Buddy" loved the property, he hates bathes and rain but continually waded in the creek, walking and drinking.We also had critter friends visit daily Buddy was most courious about the racoon..we also heard some wild turkeys but didn't see them.We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to vacation in Helen...as it is clean,PET FRIENDLY and reasonably priced.SKIP is the host with the MOST, right on the ball with every detail.

We enjoyed the walks around Unicoi lake, seeing the lighting of the tree in Helen and our meal at the Glen Ella B & B was outstanding. We had a wonderful time when we stayed at Gazebo Creek. In addition to the relaxing atmosphere, we enjoyed the local restaurants and shopping. A trip to the local winery was well worth it.
The scenery is breath-taking, and the hiking trails to the area falls gave us the exercise to justify taking advantage of the local cuisine and desserts.
We highly recommend Gazebo Creek, whether you want to escape the stress of the workplace, or have an adventureous time in the refreshing mountain air. People are so friendly, you may not want to leave.
We can't wait to visit again. |

| We had the pleasure of staying at Gazebo Creek in mid July of 2006. Our family has an annual reunion and we have chosen Helen, GA as the permanent site this year. Luckily, our family of four was able to book this beautiful cabin for our stay. After listening to our extended family complain about their local accomodations, we felt very blessed to have discovered Gazebo Creek. The cabin is wonderfully decorated and we immediately felt at home. We slept well in the king sized beds and I used the kitchen quite a bit (we didn't eat out once and that saved a lot of money). Everything I needed was right there. Skip was a wonderful host--he sent so much information about the cabin before we arrived and even called to check on us the second day of our stay. I've stayed in other cabins in the past, but was never satisfied with the rentals. Gazebo Creek is like having a home away from home. We will certainly be back next year! Thanks Skip and Jean! |

| A couple of friends and I stayed at this cabin back in March. We had a great time. It is a beautifully decorated, roomy cabin with all the amenities you'd ever need. I rent a cabin in the mountains at least 2 or 3 times a year and this is the nicest one I've stayed at. I plan on staying there again if I can find a weekend that is not booked already. My friend and I visited this lovely retreat around Thanksgiving, but it was already decorated for Christmas and helped to get us in the spirit. It was so warm, homey, clean, and inviting. Lots of towels, tissue, toilet paper,and kitchen necessities that you typically have to buy, but was all there. They even left us a good bottle of vino from the winery there which, of course, is a must to visit if you get stuck with a rainy day. Helen is fun. Hiking was GREAT. Perfect location. All good. | If you want a place that is quiet, peaceful and secluded, this is the place for you. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to go back again. It had everything that we wanted and more. Getting up in the morning and having breakfast on the deck before we went hiking was refreshing. Then after hiking and coming back to a place that we could kick back and relax was more than you can imagine. Having a hot tub that you could relax in anytime that you wanted to was the bomb. When it was time for us to leave, we had a hard time doing that. We just didn't want to leave. We were talking about this cabin on the drive home. We just could not believe it. I have told all of my friends about this cabin, and the experience that we had. We are looking forward to next year. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Skip and Jean. | The Gazebo Creek Cabin is an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The setting is very private and secluded, yet only a few miles from the stores and fun of downtown Helen. Every day we hiked a different nearby trail, seeing along the way majestic, wild waterfalls and wide trout-filled streams. On the property, our 2 small dogs loved running through the woods and wading in the stream. The cabin is clean and comfortable. Our week there was delightful! |
