| This home in the countryside above Taos, and near the ski area, is an easy drive into town. It has extraordinary views south and east toward the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Sunsets and sunrises are glorious as is the quiet and peacefulness of the immediate surroundings. It's a short distance both to a small bridge over the Rio Grande located next to a good swimming hole and a slightly longer drive the large bridge over the extraordinary Rio Grande gorge. The house itself is beautiful with balconies adjoining each bedroom, a spacious kitchen and dining/living room area, and a deck with wonderful views. It is impossible to exaggerate how peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable this house is to visit. We hope to return again as soon as possible. |

We have stayed at this house for the past two years between Christmas and New Years. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the stay. The house worked very well for two families (one family of four and one of five) and there was plenty of room for everyone.
The house is very secluded, yet very convenient to any activities whether it be skiing or the town.
During our stay, we had a few questions with the home which were promptly answered by the owner.
This is a great property to rent and we will be back in the future.

| Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The amenities were quite comfortable and private. Some of our favorite activities at the property were: nightly s'mores at the firepit, pitching horseshoes, throwing darts, and watching movies on the nice entertainment system. There is an extensive library with good variety of books on many subjects. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our inquiries prior to, during, and after our stay. We stayed in late July and the evenings were perfect for open window sleeping or relaxing around a fire with a nice beverage. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Taos. |

What a beautiful setting and how well appointed this place is. It is close enough to Taos to access it easily, and far enough away to feel really removed from the noise and activity. The windows and openness really give you wonderful views. The kitchen must have been done by someone who knows cooking and what makes a kitchen work. The master suite is quite private and yet accessible to the rest of the common area. We had a full moon that was majestic in its illumination of nearly every room! We recommend a stop at Abe's in Arroyo Seco for home made, REAL mexican food. It is a dive and tiny, but it is authentic, and good. |

| This house is perfect for a mountain holiday. We were there for my 30th birthday party and were greeted with a wonderful home and excellent ski conditions. I would highly recommend this house for families as well. The kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in and we also enjoyed the hot tub after skiing and watching the sun fade into the western sky. Amazing! |

A group of five of us stayed in this home for an arts/healing retreat in July, 2004. It is a truly wonderful space that enhanced our inner and outer journeys in a way that exceeded our expectations. The house and surroundings are a feast for the senses, and we would recommend it highly! The home is cared for with love, and provides comfort, convenience and great beauty. A big Thank You and a round of applause for the owners! |

| We had a wonderful vacation here last winter. The view of snowy woods and mountains is fantastic, especially from the upstairs bedrooms and the decks. The house is warm and cosy and beautifully designed in traditional style, with beams and little nooks showing off Mexican artworks, and a fireplace. The kitchen is excellently equipped. The big basement next to the carport is just perfect for dropping off snowy gear before heading upstairs to the warm. We will definitely be back! |

| Our family recently spent a great week here. A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. My kids loved the unique bedrooms and spent hours exploring the surrounding woods. My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful views and the complete kitchen. Nearby ski mtn. and pueblos a plus. A big thumbs up!!! |

| While in Taos taking a painting workshop last summer, my idyllic time was made even more wonderful by the opportunity to stay at the lovely, secluded Casa Quintana in Valdez, just north of Taos. The view across the immense valley of the Sangre de Cristos through ponderosa and piƱon pine was vast and inspiring... from the ample deck which spans the south side of the house, or from the individual balconies in both upstairs bedrooms, you can watch the storms sweep up from the southwest and hover over Taos Peak. The interior of the house is lovely as well... . spacious & gracious, yet cozy. My favorite room was the elegant master bath, where I luxuriated in bubbles listening to a plaintive coyote in the hills beyond. |
