We returned Monday night renewed, recharge, and reenergized! What a BEAUTIFUL place you have at Turks & Caicos! Our stay was just what we dreamed about.......stunning turquoise water, snorkeling, sight seeing, trying new food, and building new friendships. The seclusion is just what we needed! My list could go on and on. Our stay was as close to heaven as it gets here on Earth. How is this possible? Great service from Alveda! gosh! Can Alveda cook! This caring person helped our vacation surpass all expectations! I recommended Hollywood Beach Suites to two people at Provo airport before we even departed; they wrote down your web address. Comments We just got back from our stay and all I can say is WOW!!! What a beautiful island! We arrived on Friday late afternoon (took the 5:15 p.m. ferry). Alveda (the property manager) was there waiting for us with warm welcomes. What an amazing lady! We loaded up our stuff and she drove us to the suites. First impression was of the view was absolutely breathtaking! The view from the suites is amazing. The water sparkles many colors of blues! Alveda explained to us that there is no crime on the island and its perfectly safe to leave your doors and windows open at night and during the day if we felt comfortable. We took her advice and slept with the doors open and windows. What a great breeze. The sound of the waves at night gently rocks you to sleep. It was amazing! The inside of the suite is nice.

We could not be happier with our visit to Hollywood Beach Suites. Everyone was lovely and gracious. We felt so welcome there. The locals all smiled at us. Alveda's food was so good. We also loved the lovely Siggie and her café'. She is a treasure and a fun person to visit with. The highlights were that we could take the kayak out to the reef put down an anchor and snorkel around. We also snorkeled off the beach and found one spot that allowed us to see some lion fish, a barracuda, a moray eel and very bright little tiny fish. We even saw a nurse shark! There were also fish that I fell in love with that big huge eyes. A dolphin swam the whole length of the beach while we were walking back from the Wharf restaurant and we saw huge whales jumping while we were on the deck beyond the reef of Hollywood Beach Suites. The other 100% plus was that the bikes were fabulous. We never even rented a car. We biked everywhere we wanted to go. We very much enjoyed three Mary Cays. Our trip was PERFECT. We will be back. Becky and I had a terrific vacation on North Caicos and Holiday Beach Suites. We have taken many trips to the Caribbean but both Becky and I commented that this was our most “relaxing” visit to the islands. The proximity of your property to the beach was a major plus. To be able to walk out of our suite directly to the beach was fantastic. The water and beaches in North Caicos are the best. The local folk were very friendly and very accommodating. We just wanted to write and say what a wonderful and relaxing time we had at HBS. The site was great - the beach was great and Alveda was fabulous and very helpful. We did alot of walking, bike riding, swimming, reading, relaxing, eating and ..well you can guess the rest. The suite was perfect - a/c worked great, king-sized bed - a real plus. It was my first vacation without my laptop and cellphone and I loved it!!! and Alveda can really cook up a storm. We look forward to our next stay there.

It was everything and more! The pictures on the website are just a taste of how wonderful it is! The villa,beach,food,water and weather was everything I hoped it to be. It's a place to disconnect with the world and reconnect with yourself and the people that you bring. It will be a very wonderful place in my heart since I got engaged right in front of the deck on beach while the sun was going down!!!! Hollywood Beach Suites is a must stay. Thank you for an extraordinary vacation! Thanks for all the extras. Thank you for the bicycles. We had some great fun riding into Bottle Creek, KJ's and Josh's. We had a wonderful stay at Hollywood Beach Suites! Your spot on the beach is the most beautiful place we have ever been. We had a wonderful time reading, walking the beach and shelling. What made it more special was that we were the only ones on the beach. We couldn't believe it. What paradise!!!!!!!!! Alveda took very good care of us by bringing us the meal the first day, making sure the bikes were in working condition, preparing the room with what was needed and staying with us to make sure we got our flight back to Provo. The champagne was a nice touch. Thanks again for a wonderful experience and we hope to visit next year. My husband especially liked the deck set up. It gave us a nice vista of the ocean.

We had an amazing 10 days at Hollywood Beach Suites! It was a picture perfect vacation, and just what we needed for our 10 year anniversary. We enjoyed lazy days just walking the beach collecting beautiful shells, snorkeling in crystal clear water, enjoying nature and eachother! I have never seen so many butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, crabs, and birds in my life. It was so relaxing to just swing in the hammock and read a book without a care in the world. There was actually a hummingbird nest right above the hammock, and it was neat to watch the mom feed her tiny baby. The suite was very comfortable and well equiped! We took the boat over so we were able to stock up at the IGA on Provo-which we were happy we did. Alveda cooked for us twice, and I agree with other comments that it is enough food to last a while. You must have the conch and peas and rice-soooo good! If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place to go. . . Unfortunately, it is back to reality-but my mind often wanders to the beautifu

She checked in on us, cooked a couple of meals for us and arranged a car to rent. She was so kind and thoughtful. We were very pleased to find the suite clean and comfortable. The grounds were also very well taken care of and even the beach out front was clean. We enjoyed using the BBQ, the beach lounges and the bikes. The champagne was a nice touch. Doug and I just returned from a WONDERFUL, peaceful week at Hollywood Beachsuites. The place exceeded our expectations and Alveda is a wonderful hostess along with being a fantastic cook. The suite is clean and has everything you could possibly need-washer & dryer are great for returning home with clean clothes.The beach is the most beautiful, quiet place I have ever experienced. We used J & B Water taxi to go to North Caicos and that was a wonderful way to see the surrounding islands. Plus, the cab stopped in Provo at the IGA where we purchased plenty of food along with a case of Turks Head beer-we could not find this in North Caicos.The boat captain's were fun and informative and made the ride over and back very entertaining.Alveda made Dinner our first and last evening and both were enough to eat for days as well as fantastic. She and her Husband are very welcoming, they will go out of their way to make you feel at home.We rented a jeep and saw every part of the Island; we really enjoyed the Wade plantation ruins.Three Mary's cay

Well, I must say that this was a totally different vacation than what I’m used to. The water is the most beautiful water I've ever seen in my life. Your accommodations were good, smaller than I thought, but there wasn't anything we needed, very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We did have a great time. All in all, I would say your place is quite a find and we relaxed tremendously. I was very happy I was at the Hollywood Beach Suites!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. As promised it was very quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. The chairs were excellent and we did not need to use the umbrella. Thanks for making it avail. The mix of clouds and breeze made the sun very bearable. We walked the beach from end to end ever morning before breakfast. Even with 2 weeks, the time flew by, would loved to have stayed longer. The accommodations were very nice and the kitchen was very well equipped. Having the bikes was nice also. Allowed to us to venture out and explore the island. We also found the locals or belongers to be very friendly. We were walking on a main road one day and a gentleman stopped to ask if we needed assistance. We felt very safe venturing around. All that said we are now starting to plan for our 2006 vacation. We are looking at late Jan early Feb at this point, another 2 weeks.

In your advertisement of Hollywood Beach Suites the glowing description of the beach doesn't begin to describe that beach. It was wonderful. I have never seen such beautiful beaches in my life as there are on North Caicos. The suite was exceptionally clean and exceptionally well-equipped. The deck was a surprise and a welcome addition and we loved being able to hose-off the sand after coming in off the beach. Alveda was wonderful and made staying at Hollywood Beach Suites a very special experience. There were winds almost every day we were there and the water inaccessible for snorkeling which was a major disappointment for us. If it hadn't been for Alveda helping us make arrangements for other activities and cooking some of our meals we would still have enjoyed the stay but it wouldn't have been the rewarding and outstanding experience that is was. Our overall rating is outstanding. We happily are recommending Hollywood Beach Suites to our friends.

The location on the ocean is so spectacular! The accommodations were excellent, you thought of everything your guests could ever want when you put it together. We loved everything. We thought is was great that you installed a deck and outdoor grill. The other guests were very nice--we rented a boat one day with the couple from Seattle. And we loved Alveda 's cooking! She was great! Honestly, we would do that vacation again in a heartbeat! Thank you for everything!

Comments We had a fabulous time during our 2 week honeymoon stay at Hollywood Beach Suites. The location is perfect. Every morning we were up early and Kathleen went for her 30 minute run on the beach and I walked or swam. We found a lot of good things for breakfast at KJ's...oatmeal, eggs, corned beef, ham, guava juice, mango juice and so on. Having the bikes is a real plus. It is easy to bike just about everywhere…3 Mary Cays, Pumpkin Bluff Beach. There is an osprey nesting on the east side of the "middle cay" and you can swim right up under her nest. We very rarely saw anybody on the beaches. It was great! We got to know Big Josh at his out side bar. Alveda fussed over us like we were her own family. She is an excellent cook and we enjoyed grouper, fried chicken, and lobster cooked in the local style. We went to tour the caves on Middle Caicos with Cardinal Arthur. He is a great guide. I would certainly recommend the tour to anyone. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and will start saving and planning for our next visit.

If you want quiet and peaceful then Hollywood Beach Suites is for you. I think we saw a grand total of three people on the beach during our seven day stay. And, oh, what a beach it is! Seven miles of Caribbean splendor protected by a reef. The water is like a giant blue swimming pool. The suites are also wonderful. The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking, the living room is very comfy, and the king bed is very nice. The pro- series grill overlooking the beach is a great touch for nightly cooking. Having the kayaks, snorkeling gear and bikes is tremendous. The bikes are the way you get around the island, so it is nice to have high quality bicycles. Take the water taxi over from Provo and then you can stop at the IGA and stock up on groceries. They have a great selection and the prices are only about double what you would pay in the U.S. Prices are about the same at KJ's on N. Caicos, but the selection is more limited. If we go back to the Turks and Caicos, Hollywood Beach Suites will be our destination! We will be back in years

I read that the suites were at the intersection of bliss & paradise..how true...but don't tell anyone about this place so we can keep it all to ourselves. Bring your shorts, teeshirts, and bathing suit; that's all you'll need. Don't forget fresh fruit on the island of Provo before you come; take the water taxi and enjoy the ride to paradise. Don't forget some good wine, white or red, and enjoy it with a great meal cooked by Alveda. Then if it's a beer you want; stop by and talk some local business with Big Josh Macintosh while you get refreshed. Bring plenty of books to read while you swing in the hammock and be prepared to feel like Tom Hanks in Cast Away; well not quite, but you'll feel pretty lonely. The only hard decision we have to make is to decide when we want to come back. And did I mention the oath you must take before you leave Hollywood Beach Suites? You don't tell anyone about this hidden secret so we can keep it all to ourselves.

March 3 - 17, 2004 We think the suites are very comfortable, attractive, well appointed. Kitchen well equipped. Paper towels, toilet paper well provided. Also a great idea having washer + dryer in suites. We feel very secure. The bicycles are very good. Places we went on them 1. KJ’s grocery store 2. Kew 3. Liquor store, stopping at Flamingo Pond – hundreds of flamingo’s We ate at Pelican Beach Hotel Restaurant – 5 minute walk. Anchor Inn for buffet. Both very good. We had meals that Alveda cooked – lobster, delicious cracked conch! She brought us groper which we cooked on the BBQ, after marinating it as Alveda told us she does! Great! Enjoyed would be putting it mildly! It was a vacation that will not soon be matched; everything was perfect. Alveda was wonderful with her assistance and housekeeping. I felt like we were the only ones on the island at times, which was great. Everyone we met was very friendly and I feel like we did not have time to experience all that there was to offer...we needed ten days. Maybe, next time. Hollywood Beach Suites is a wonderful place; the only suggestion I would make is that if people choose the water taxi that they stop at the Provo IGA for fresh fruits and vegetables, as it seamed KJ's was at times somewhat lacking in selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. All in all it was my best vacation to date!

We are safely back at home, brown & tired. We spent a week at Hollywood Beach, 5 days at Grand Turk and 2 days on Salt Cay. Our objective, as it usually is, is to go to places where the masses don’t. I have to say that our expectations were exceeded at Hollywood Beach Suites. Alveda was at the airport to meet us, took us to the liquor store and then the grocery store. She showed up frequently, but not excessively, showing that she cared that we were OK. She cooked for us twice -- both times we saved some for breakfast. We walked the beach, all the way to 3 Mary Cays. We rode the bikes to the airport just to look. We rented a car from Pat and explored. We used the phone only to talk to Alveda and to Karen at the dive shop. We NEVER turned on the TV. We enjoyed ourselves.

March 2004 - This was exactly the break we were looking for to get a rest from our hectic lives. A beautiful view. Not a sole on the beach. Warmth. Comfortable and clean apartment – like suites. We liked having the option of eating out, BBQ-ing, or having a native – cooked meal delivered. We liked having the convenience of the grocery store, corner bar and just a few restaurants within biking or walking distance. Alveda was a wonderful hostess! She took care of everything that we needed. All in all it was nice and relaxing. No crowds. Just what we hoped for.

Thank you so much for the wonderful time that we spent at Hollywood Beach Suites in March. The kitchen was superbly furnished to provide self-suffiency. The bikes and kayaks were a tremendous asset as we utilized both of then daily. The beach is as unspoiled as anyone could ever imagine. The suites truly provide tranquility at its finest. Some may wonder where N. Caicos is. It is located at the intersection of Bliss and Paradise. Enjoy. We sure did.

We made it home safe and sound, but given the cold weather today here in Cincinnati we're already wishing we were back on the beach. You've got a very nice property in North Caicos. We found the accommodations clean, comfortable, just perfect for a relaxing vacation and, recharging. Alvida was great, friendly and always accommodating. We also met some wonderful people, exchanged addresses and we plan on reconnecting as we all live within a few hours of one another. That was a bonus as it's always great to make new friends. We found North Caicos quiet, but considering we went there to relax, that's fine. Isabelle read five books and I read four ( I did a little more beach walking and photographing ), which is just what the doctor ordered for this trip. All in all, it was tremendously relaxing. My first day back at the office today greeted me with over 300 emails, but when I got home and looked at one of the beautiful beach pictures we now have up as screen saver, I quickly forgot about the busy day. March 3 - 17, 2004 We think the suites are very comfortable, attractive, well appointed. Kitchen well equipped. Paper towels, toilet paper well provided. Also a great idea having washer + dryer in suites. We feel very secure. The bicycles are very good. Places we went on them 1. KJ’s grocery store 2. Kew 3. Liquor store, stopping at Flamingo Pond – hundreds of flamingo’s We ate at Pelican Beach Hotel Restaurant – 5 minute walk. Anchor Inn for buffet. Both very good. We had meals that Alveda cooked – lobster, delicious cracked conch! She brought us groper which we cooked on the BBQ, after marinating it as Alveda told us she does! Great! Alveda and Charlton were very friendly and helpful. All in all – a wonderful and relaxing vacation. One of the best islands we have been to. Patty and Carla

Just writing to say we really enjoyed our holiday at the Hollywood Beach Suites last week! My husband and I used the bikes and the kayaks a lot. We went snorkeling almost everyday and saw lots of really interesting things-rays, lobsters, urchins, grouper etc. The kids loved the beach--all and all we really had a nice relaxing time. The local diver needed more divers, so my husband went with Big Blue, more expensive though. His second dive with Big Blue was very exciting – saw three pretty large reef sharks and few nursing sharks. We met very nice people who were staying in the other suites. The locals were very friendly and the service could not have been more accommodating. We look forward to visiting again someday! Lauren and Mike

Getting back to the real world after being in paradise isn't all that easy. Everything was perfect. We did enjoy the water taxi. The manager’s native cooking and her island tours were informative. It was nice that she took an interest in our vacation and made it as comfortable as possible. The suite and all your amenities were wonderful. Beautiful place. Thank you for having us. We will highly recommend your accommodations to our friends.

I had a wonderful time! [Feb 2004] North Caicos is the perfect island for me--unspoiled and so friendly and welcoming. Hollywood Beach Suites far exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to come back. I spent quite a bit of time riding around on the bicycle. Your hosts were beyond wonderful, … made dinner for me twice (each time was enough for 2 meals) grouper and conch. [Everyone] did their utmost to see that I was as comfortable as possible. Loved the comfortable furnishings--spent a lot of time reading and relaxing. Having the blender and the appliances was fantastic. Made jerk chicken on the gas bbq. Suggestions-- the kitchen needs some drawers for utensils & more storage. I would like to take my daughter there in March. More later, must get back to work. Best, Carol

We spent a wonderful 7 days at this mini-resort in Christmas 03. Our family loved the weather, swiming, biking, diving, long quiet walks and wonderfully friendly people. Its an ideal place to recharge the battery and we hope the development is slow so it remains a great place to relax. Looking forward to going back.
