| We were so lucky to find this perfect home in the mountains! We love to hike and there are over 20 acres to hike without even getting in the car. The Grayson Highlands and Creeper Trail are very close, for both hiking and mountain biking. The cabin was cozy, with a great layout...perfect for family get-togethers. We loved it! |

| We have been vacationing in NC for quite a few years, and have stayed in many nice places. This cabin is, by far, our favorite. It is beautifully furnished, well appointed and very comfortable. The views are amazing. We spent hours in the rocking chairs on the front porch watching the abundance of wildlife that meandered by. Very peaceful! The cabin is a short drive to a few quaint towns and some really great hiking trails. We definately would rent here again. Can't wait! |

| We have been vacationing in the Boone/Blowing Rock area for years. This cabin was, by far, the nicest place we've stayed. The views from the front porch are amazing, plenty of wildlife and wildflowers to see. The cabin was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and well appointed. If you are looking for a great place to relax and unwind, this is definately it. Can't wait to go back! |

| We had a wonderful time. The views were outstanding. It was so quiet and serene,taking a hike on the available trails was alot of fun for me and my family. Sitting on the front porch,in the rocking chairs at the end of the day was very relaxing. We also had alot of fun spotting all of the wildlife...deer, wild turkey, rabbits and quail. There were even horses and cattle in the pasture. A truly special place. |

The home is absolutely beautiful! This is the nicest place we have ever stayed (in our 15 years of staying at other places in Boone/Blowing Rock). The peacefullness, tranquility, view, and the wonderful amenities were only a very small part of what makes this place so great. You can feel the stress leave you and when it's time to go home - you don't want to leave. This feels like a small "peace" (pun) of heaven. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back. |

| What a great place. We spent Thanksgiving here with our son, who lives in Boone. The house is perfect for a family or for two couples. The views are breathtaking. It snowed the day we arrrived and that added extra charm. The house is warm and inviting and has all you need to cook a great meal. We couldn't have beem more pleased. We will certainly return in the future. |

What a wonderful location for a romantiic and isolated getaway. The peace and tranquility, beautiful view, many areas to hike and visit, were only some of the many options we had. not to forget the great meals prepared in the nice spacious kitchen. | We have been coming to the mountains since our honeymoon 15 years ago for our anniversary. This home was by far the nicest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The scenery from the front porch is breathtaking. It is so peaceful and quite. It is also a good place to get out and take a walk. This home is cozy and warm feeling. It is a good place to relax and get away. We highly recommend it. |

We enjoyed our weeks stay at this absolutely gorgeous cabin. There were all the comforts of home and Oh so peaceful! We visited most of the gift shops and enjoyed the restaurants,especially Sweet Aromas and Frazier's. Great place for a quiet getaway!

We spent a week at this beautiful mountain
retreat! The cabin is very clean and
comfortable with a great fireplace and huge,
gourmet kitchen. We are both teachers and
we really enjoyed the peace and quiet! The
views were outstanding and we saw a lot of
wildlife! The highlight of our week was our
hike around the property near the cabin!!

If you are looking for a vacation rental in the Boone,
West Jefferson area, no need to look any further
than Horse Creek Cabin in the Barngate Farms
Community. This is the most private, quiet,
peaceful place we have ever stayed. The view of the
mountains is spectacular and the cabin is so
homey, cozy, and very tastefully decorated. We felt
right at home and had every need met to the

| Being a life long resident of west central Georgia, we love to come up to the coolness anywhere in western Carolina and this cabin has become our favorite. The location is fantastic. We loved the family of wild turkey (dad, mom and 7 little ones) that we followed out one day. We plan on returning as often as possible. |

We had such a wonderful time. So relaxing. The cabin is so accomidating and convenient to so many activities. Though we got the most enjoyment of spending quality time with the ones we love in such a beautiful setting. You can wake up in the morning and rock on the front porch watching the beautiful horses grazing in the mountain meadows. We left feeling completely refreshed.

We just can't say enough about the beauty of the
cabin, the mountains, and the entire area. The
cabin felt like it was ours the minute we walked in,
and it was so hard to leave at the end of the
weekend! We hope to return soon, and we would
highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for
the perfect mountain retreat.
