I'm over in Vancouver on a working visa from England and wanted to take my girlfriend out for a romantic meal at the Cannery. I emailed them and they put me onto Bryan so we could take a cruise of the harbor first and arrive in style. We went up Indian Arm to deep cove and back which was beautiful and really relaxing. Bryan was an excellent skipper, full of interesting stories but also knew when to leave us to it. I would highly recommend this cruise as both my girlfriend and I loved it! Hope your daughters wedding went well Bry!

The 4 of us had a great pre-dinner cruise with Bryan. He is full of information about everything there is to see from the boat and has plenty of stories to tell. Even though there was no wind to sail it was a beautiful way to spend a sunny summer evening, venturing out to more natural setting of Deep Cove and back. The fabulous dinner at The Cannery was a perfect second half to the evening.

We had a great trip out on Rippleeffect last weekend with Bryan, we sailed to Gibsons on Saturday in beautiful weather, and enjoyed a tasty meal cooked by Bryan. On Sunday we headed back to Vancouver in the midst of some super strong winds! It was an adventure and an awesome trip!

We enjoyed a wonderful sunny evening cruise as two couples with Bryan last weekend. It was a fantastic time - Bryan has oodles of information about everything that can be seen from the boat and has many stories to tell, the port has many fascinating things to see and Deep Cove is natural and peaceful even though it's so close to the city. Followed up by the fabulous dinner at The Cannery made it a very special evening for us and our out-of-town guests.

We had a beautiful trip on a calm day. Although we didn't get a chance to sail, The trip through second narrows was worth every minute. Thanks so much Bryan for allowing us to have our special ceremony on your boat. Monique

We had a wonderful afternoon on board, and enjoyed a relaxing trip up the Indian Arm. Thank you, Bryan, for helping us celebrate my birthday, and for the picnic basket of gourmet treats. Dinner at the Cannery was as good as you said it would be. We'll see you in the Bahamas.

My Family was to visit from Manitoba again this summer, and I struggled to find something we hadn't done before that would be memorable for all of us. Well, we found it. Bryan's charter for a few hours of peace and quiet on english bay was just the thing. We enjoyed the engaging conversation, the lesson in sailing, the views of the city and the surrounding mountains, and the opportunity to spend time as a family. We will definatly be back. In a time when everyone is concious of price - I prefer to think of Value. In this regard - Bryan's tours are top of the heap.

Our Ripple Effect cruise was the perfect relaxing getaway, even if only for a few hours, to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed fantastic view after fantastic view of our favourite city, followed by a superb meal on the waterfront - thanks for a memorable day. Geordie and Frances Roberts

We had a wonderful time with Bryan on board his Macgregor. He is a great skipper and makes the sail lots of fun. We went to the Beach House Restaurant as recommended by Bryan and it was fantastic. All in all a whole lot of fun with excellent value. See you again Bryan!

I booked a special suprise sailing trip for my husband and I, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Bryan was an outstanding host - not only on the trip but in the planning as well. He kept in touch, helped me make arrangements, and made everything go as smoothly as possible. On board he was an amazing host - an extremely skilled sailor, entertaining and hospitable. I would highly recommend a trip on Bryan's boat - it was a wonderful experience.

For my boyfriend's birthday, I had Bryan pick us up at the Cannery restaurant, and it was a complete surprise! He never suspected a thing! We had a fun day of sailing, and ended the day by being dropped off back at the Cannery for a wonderful birthday dinner. Not only was it a great surprise, it was a day we will both never forget, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, we have already booked again for next month to go out and see the fireworks and have a barbecue right on the boat. We can't wait! |

My husband, 2 friends, and I went on one of Bryan's 4 hour cruises up Indian Arm. We have never done anything like this before because we all have young kids. Let me tell you something, it was well worth it! It was an extremely relaxing experience that took our minds off our kids---for a while anyways! Bryan is the perfect host...he told us very entertaining stories when we needed them and let us sit back and soak up the sun when we wanted to. He showed us the waterfall, and other noteworthy points along the way. The boat was very comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend this enjoyable trip; especially if you are feeling stressed out or caught up in the rat race. We went at the end of September and had the most beautiful weather. We would love to do something like this again. Thanks Bryan. So glad we were able to have this opportunity! Sandra and Greg

My husband, myself and our 15 year old daughter just returned from a great four day cruise. We spent a great day going up Indian Arm to see the waterfall and over-nighting in Deep Cove. The waterfall is not to be missed! Then on to Gibsons to visit the town, the marina and practice some sailing. In addition, we had one absolutely fabulous night watching the fireworks from the water.
Meals were wonderful and the accomodations were superb! The skipper of the boat was very knowledgeable and had some great stories! |

We just returned from a 2 night, three day cruise. It was a phenomenal experience. It was relaxing sitting on the boat looking at the breathtaking scenery while the hot sun baked us-lol. Bryan is an extraordinary skipper, tour guide, and cook. We toured the Indian Arm, Bowen Island, and Gibsons. We were born and raised in BC but never had a chance to appreciate the beauty of the Islands. Thank-you, Bryan!

My sister and her friend visited Vancouver from Saskatchewan in December 2003, I surprised them with a sail boat cruise. It was something neither of them had ever done, and was a very pleasant experience. Bryan May is an excellent captain and I highly recommend a day/night trip for your guests.

Bryan has taken several of our guests out on the spectacular Vancouver Harbour and up the Indian Arm, etc. and they have all returned, to our Bed and Breakfast (CASA MORA), with excellent reports of a day well spent, taking in the breeze, the amazing scenery and the good times aboard the sailboat. We highly recommend his service, particularly to honeymooners and couples on romantic getaways who are looking for interesting Vancouver-style daytime activities.

Our early December cruise up Indian Arm was strikingly beautiful amid the sun, seals and eagles. Bryan provided hot chocolate, and for lunch fired up his barbecue for a lavish spread of salmon and steak. When the weather turned cool, he provided us with blankets and scarves. The four of us ended the trip with big smiles and rosy cheeks.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 'Day on the Water' cruise up Indian Arm. The sightseeing is fantastic as well as the company. Bryan was very friendly, informative, and knowledgable about the Vancouver area. We enjoyed it so much that we will be taking another trip on the 'Ripple Effect' on our next visit.
