If you want to see Hawaii, the Hawaii of old and grace, Please come to Laie and kick back in a wonderful bungalow that has all the comforts of Home. You have the Beach three mins. away down your private excess lane. The small Towns of the North Shore with surf shops and galleries are fun to browse and buy. Food is great at many small reastaurants and the Beaches are the best on the Island. Thank You Greg for a fun stay and visit from this sourdough Alaskan ex kamahina ....2o years growing up on Oahau.....38 in Alaska now.....No place better than Laie....Thanks again Greg ..Aloha and I look forward to staying at your Beach Bungalow again.,

This is a wonderful place - comes with everything you
may need, is beautiful and well-kept, and just a
minute from a beautiful beach. If you want to relax
away from the Waikiki crowds this is one of the best
locations on Oahu. We had a great time there, and
highly recommend the place - thanks, Greg!

It was so nice to come back from a day of site-seeing to our private bungalow. A very nice nearly-empty beach is just down the lane, where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and swims. Greg is very helpful and professional (and a talented carpenter). We would definitely stay in the Beach Lane Bungalow again.

A perfect get away, close to a beautiful private beach, grocery store and activities. Why stay in a condo when you can have your own private bugalow with a full kitchen!

The bungalow is clean, attractive, private and close to
an almost deserted sandy beach. Despite stormy (but
warm) December weather, we hiked in the nearby hills,
swam in the sea and pottered around the towns along
the coast. This is probably as close to an atypical but
still comfortable tourist holiday as you can find on
Oahu.

This is a wonderful little get-a-way. We felt like we had a second honeymoon. The Beach Bungelow is perfect little beach house. We spent our mornings at the beach which is only steps away from the house. It ended up being our favorite beach! Thanks for sharing your beach rental with us.

A wonderful place to stay while in Oahu. Good size bungalow with all the facilities you would need. Loved the size of the shower!! Even though the bungalow is close to a busy road, there was no traffic noise. The gardens have been well looked after and it feels very private. Having the ocean within walking distance is great. Would recommend the bungalow to others.

We had a wonderful time staying at the beach bungalow. The beach was perfect for body surfing- and we really liked the relaxed atmosphere. It was exactly what we were looking for. It made for a great honeymoon.

The Beach Bungalow was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Literally steps down to the beach, a very very quiet location, all the amenities of home and MORE really, AND the kicker here is the daily rate is cheaper than almost any hotel! If you're looking for a home base while exploring the island, or just to get away from the daily grind, this is the perfect place, really. We absolutely recommend this to anyone we know that may be visiting Oahu, and don't want to stay in the busy city. Also, we're Lost fanatics (ABC TV show), and we wanted to see filming locations, and this was pretty much right in the middle of many of the locations. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you Greg!!!

Sorry this comment is coming extremely overdue. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in January of 2007. This was a wonderful spot, an unbeatable location with an unbeatable price. We enjoyed being away from the crowds of honolulu and waikiki. Greg was awesome and very prompt and honest in everything he did while we were there. We highly recommend staying here or his other property if you want to have a more laid back experience. And sorry this is coming in so late.

We stayed in the Beach Lane Bungalow at the end of October - beginning of November 2007. Great little place with access to the North Shore sights and close enough to anything you'd want to see and do. Wonderfully kept, beautiful yard and deck. Laundry facilities perfect for a long stay. This was our little hideaway for our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Thank you Greg! Mahalo.

The Beach Bungalow was set up perfectly with all
the cooking utensils, beach gear and laundry
facilities (very important!) we needed. We came with
our 4-year-old son who slept on the couch. We'd
probably opt for a larger place next time but for a
couple the Bungalow is perfect. It's a short walk
down the lane to the beach. You have to be
prepared to really live like a local and not a tourist,
though. On the N. Shore of the island you will see
that not all is slick and glamorous. It's seriously
rural and homes, yards and business show that. It
will take you a while to find the nearest Starbucks -
- but there is one about 15 minutes away in a large
grocery store called Foodland. Who cares about
Starbucks, right? Just so you know, though, the
most outrageous snorkeling is directly across from
that grocery store. It's something you must do. It's
perfect for children too -- lots of shallow, tidepool
like snorkeling with incredible fish and even turtles.
It rained a lot when we visited but even with the
rain we had a great trip and want to come back.

My wife and I sayed at this wonderful cottage while I was on the Island working. I was looking for something I could stay in for a week with all the ammenities of home and without the Waikiki rat pack. To our utter delight, I found just the place. We were very comfortable during the week with everything we wanted to do vacation-wise right at our fingertips. It worked out well for my business as most of clients are local farmers. Greg is very easy to work with and was very accommodating to my company cc payment issues. We will stay here every time we travel to Oahu.

The bungalow worked very well for us during our two
week stay. How enjoyable was the languid living of
the country side of Oahu!. The early monring walks
on the beach were splendid. In fact, from its south
end, the curve of Kokolillu and Mahakea Beaches
reminded of of early photos of Waikiki before it was a
high rise haven. Thanks, Greg, for a great two weeks.

The bungalow was a great place to stay. It is perfect for a couple. The location is close to the PCC, Temple, great beaches and grocery stores. We stayed Sept 1-8, 2007. It was nice to feel like a local and not a tourist.
We drove down to Honolulu and did what we wanted during the day, but the freeway traffic was terrible and it was so nice to get on the highway, go through the tunnel and drive "home" to the bungalow and walk the beach each night. We would highly recommend staying up at the north shore for anyone visiting Oahu and leave the city behind.
The bungalow is set up with everything you need. The air conditioner was great and the washer and dryer came in handy.
Thanks Greg. We hope to come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this bungalow, it had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. The place is very well maintained with a beautifully landscaped yard. It is conveniently located by the best beaches in Oahu and the slower paced "country" lifestyle is relaxing. Nothing is more than an hour away and the drive to and from the bungalow passes quickly as it very scenic. We loved using the boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear also. Mahalo, Greg!

Our stay, Jan. 8 to Jan. 14, 2007 was very enjoyable. We especially liked the homey experience of the fully self-contained bungalow. Most enjoyable was being away from the faster-paced and congested leeward side of the island. Most of the time we had the beach all to ourselves----a personal paradise.

Can't imagine a better place to have spent our time in Hawaii than the Beach Bungalow. The cottage was even cuter and more spacious than the pictures here indicate, and everything was in perfect condition. Greg was super, meeting us a bit later in the evening than we expected after a delayed flight. Onsite laundry facilities and an outdoor shower made beach clean-up super-easy. Nice, quiet location, convenient to great beaches, Honolulu, and more. Almost hate to rave too much, lest the cottage be booked when we plan our next trip!

The cross winds breeze is great, we didn't need AC the entire time we were there in August! I like the lovely courtyard, and that it is connected if needed to the rentals next door, which worked perfectly for us b/c we had family staying there. Starbucks and Turtle Beach are close by! Thanks!

The bungalow was delightful, everything we needed was there. The beach was only minutes away; the boogie boards were nice. I think we used everything in the bungalow(outside grill, rice cooker, beach towels, washer and dryer) except the TV. You did a marvelous job with the place and my only wish is we can visit again someday.

The Polynesian Cultural Center nearby was awesome! The Mormon Temple just down the road was beautiful! Greg was cool and accomodating. We recommend the Hukilau cafe in Laie for breakfast or lunch! Ono kine grinds! Tourist tip: if you want to just relax, and enjoy the island, stay on the North Shore. Waikiki is a mad house! Aloha!

A perfect little cottage in an amazing area of O'ahu. The cottage is very well laid out with everything you would need complete with a grocery store about a three minute walk down the road.

The beach at the end of the street was a great spot to catch the sunrise every morning.

Do yourself a favour and forget the typical Tourist stuff and strike out on your own adventures.
By far the best snorkling spot is at Sharks Cove, make sure to check that out.

Thanks very much Greg and Cindy and I'm positive we will be contacting you before our next visit to the Island.

We really enjoyed our stay of 5 nights in April 2005. The cottage suited us nicely. It's very comfortable and extremely well located on the Windward Coast and close to the North Shore. We had a couple of good shrimp meals at the wagons up near Turtle Bay Resort. We had a good meal and great sunset at Jameson's in Haleiwa and a great meal at Lei-Lei's in Turtle Bay Resort. My wife and I stayed at the cottage for a week in March. We can agree with all of the positive comments listed thus far. The cottage was everything we needed and then some. We had a great week without any worries about the accomodations. this cottage is comfortably appointed and fits perfectly into the mindset one wants when on vacation in Ohau. It was difficult to leave and come back to the real world (work and snow). We stayed at the rental July/August 2004, and found the place to be in excellent condition with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed. The place is ideal for a couple and the private quiet beach only a very short walking distance away. We very much recommend this place for anyone who wishes to have a quiet pleasant stay in Oahu and want to be away from the sometimes overcrowded beaches of Waikiki. Also, the location is not too far from major attractions if you are in the mood to see Honolulu etc.

I stayed at this cottage in
mid-October 2003 and was
extremely impressed. It is very easy
to find and is a cute, well-decorated,
roomy cottage with a big bathroom
and huge shower, comfortable bed,
large outdoor deck and is very clean.
It also has a washer/dryer, outdoor
shower, A/C, dishes, silverware, etc.
so you don't really need to buy
anything but food to feel at home.
My kids could walk to the beach in
about one minute, and the beach is
very pretty with fine white sand and
good snorkeling. The Polynesian
Cultural Center is only about a 3
minute drive away, as is a big public
beach park and a McDonald's and
shopping center. I would highly
recommend this cottage for a couple
(there's enough room for a small
child, but no extra bed so you'd have
to bring a crib or something). I felt
like I was far away from the tourist
hotels, living like a Hawaiian.
