Just a few words to let you know that we had a wonderful week in Paris. Although we have been there at least 6 or 8 times, this may have been the best. Your apartment met all our expectations, and much more. We enjoyed the light from the patio, the comfortable furniture, the excellent lighting, and very importantly, the computer that allowed us to stay in touch with family at home and do research for our routings. We are seriously planning to return next Spring, and will try to rent your apartment again.

We've had a lovely month and your apartment has been perfect for us. The location made it easy to get to every part of the city--which we've done. The apartment is lovely, comfortable and convenient. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. It works for a long-term stay, which we appreciated. When one is in Paris for a month it is necessary to have a place to come "home" to and occasionally just relax. We loved the neighborhood and look forward to a return visit.

Mr. Leon's apartment is cozy, quiet, well equipped (including a laptop and ADSL), and is ideally situated: 3 minutes from the Metro/bus stop, 5 minutes from the market (Monoprix), a 25 minute walk to the Eiffel, and a 15 minute walk to the Sunday open air street market on Grenelle. The private garden terrace makes the apartment especially pleasant and relaxing. There is a view of the Eiffel from the front of the building, and a bakery across the street.
Our stay was for a relatively long term (39 days), with Paris adventures every day. The apartment guardians were very pleasant and helpful. There was a language barrier, but the Google Language Translator website solved that.
We had guests: first our daughter and her husband (from NH) for a week, and later another daughter (from OR) for a week. Even with 3 or 4 people, the apartment, because of its layout, accommodated us nicely.
Mr Leon was very helpful and informative and fun to communicate with. We were fortunate in being able to meet him (and even share a bottle of wine) at the apartment.
It's nice and quiet here in the woods of New Hampshire, but the call to return to the bright lights of Paris will always be there. Would we return to this apartment? In a heartbeat!

| Have just returned from a one week stay in Paris using M. Leon's cosy garden apartment. Everything everyone else has mentioned is absolutely true! We had the predicament of having a car in the city accidently for an overnight and the guardians were able to give us a parking spot in the underground garage. Yes, driving in Paris is possible! The apartment is equipped with a multitude of English language guide books and maps of the city -wish I had known since these are heavy to travel with. It was also great being able to communicate with M. Leon on the laptop which he has made available. I was so happy there,I missed my flight home! |

| We absolutely loved our week in Paris, and staying at the apartment made it even more special. The weather was great, and we were able to make use of your fabulous terrace. The terrace is lovely! We really felt as though we had borrowed a friend's apartment, with all the personal touches - so much more comfortable than a hotel room. It definitely exceeded my expectations! Thanks so much. |

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely trip to Paris. The trip was enhanced by the charming apartment we stayed in, as well as the attention paid to us by the Owner. Fully equipped, wonderfully located and pleasant to the eye, ones' comfort is assured. We spent a day with one of our Parisian friends and they also had nothing but praise for the apartment and its location. We look forward to returning to Paris and Rue St, Charles and cannot recommend this apartment or its Owner more highly.

| We (my husband, daughter and I) have just returned from 2 weeks in this apartment. It is every bit as attractive as it looks in the photographs - very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The garden is a real bonus. The location is superb - lots of restaurants and all the shops we needed within easy walking distance, and a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower every time you step out on to the street! Very convenient for all of Paris, and Versailles is only about half an hour away too. Many thanks, Jean- Claude, for all your attention to detail. We would return here in a moment! |

Hello Jean-Claude,
I just want to let you know that we had a very pleasant two weeks in your charming apartment. It is convenient to all of Paris, thanks to the metro practically at the door. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and decorated, and the neighborhood is quiet and attractive. We enjoyed the market on Rue St-Charles, the "boulangerie" and all the stores of the area. It all summed up to a lovely time in my native Paris which I had not visited in many years.

| In one simple word, WONDERFUL! After visiting Paris several times before I will never stay in a hotel again. The apartment was spotless and had a warm home like feeling to it. The owner was a pleasure to deal with; a true gentleman. Location was excellent. Everything from the metro to the pharmacy was all with in walking distance. One cannot ask for more. After a couple of weeks in this apartment, we fondly recall:
1. The convenience of the Charles-Machel metro stop on the corner;
2. Fully furnished and fully-equipped kitchen;
3. An inviting patio
4. Space to spread out and relax in a comfortable setting;
5. A secure building complex;
6. First floor (street level) location;
7. An excellent super market nearby (Monoprix);
8. A first-rate bakery across the street, on the corner;
9. Walking distance to the Rive Seine and the Eiffel Tower;
10. Neighborhood restaurants and sidewalk cafes;
11. Quiet;
12. Dependable, accessable, reliable, and responsive owner.
The rental rate of this apartment/flat is better than competitive.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, maintained and in a perfect location; one block from the Metro and Bus stops. The care person does an excellent job of keeping the apartment and garden in good shape.
St.Charles street is like a slice of old Paris, with its small food shops and restaurants. On Tuesdays and Fridays there is an open food market on the street. And if that is not enough, there is a large grocery store two blocks away.
To top if off, it is very quiet... if you have time for sleeping in Paris. |

We had a wonderful time. What a lovely apartment. It was perfect. The bakery was perfect. Madam Godard was perfect. We walked everywhere comfortably. There was no problems taking the train in from the airport.
I can't thank you enough for providing the perfect location. My children loved the neighborhood as well as all of Paris. Your garden was lovely. I can't imagine how things are still green and blooming.
January was a perfect time to visit. All in all, it was a wonderful week. Thank you again for all your information and for your beautiful apartment. We hope to stay again soon.

We have finally made it to Paris and your wonderful apartment. We met Madame Godard as soon as we entered the building and she knew exactly who we were and assisted us in orienting us to the apartment building and surroundings. Thanks for notifying her.
Your place is so beautiful, especially the garden, which is like a slice of paradise! It is also so comfortable and well-decorated with great furniture pieces, amazing books, and original art. We will certainly take care for it as if it were our own home.
In the past 2 days, we found the open market on rue st. Charles, the Monoprix store, local playground, Metro, Boulangerie across the street... This is the perfect home away from home and we feel so lucky.
