| My family stayed in the Reeves home for one week and it was FANTASTIC!!! We were amazed at the number of wild deer that would come up to us while we had our morning coffee. We also enjoyed the open feel the house provided. We had 6 adults and 3 children and never felt cramped. Mr. Reeves was so helpful as well and answered all of the questions that I had for him regarding the house and Fripp Island. Fripp is a magical place and is unlike any beach in South Carolina. You truly feel like your on a vacation while here and I cannot wait to visit this unique place again! |

| What a wonderful time our family had on Fripp Island. It was so relaxing and refreshing to spend a whole week here, taking in the peaceful surroundings. I would not hesitate to stay at the Reaves' home again. The home exceeded all our expectations. To wake up every morning to a beautiful sunrise and watch the dolphins from the front porch was so enjoyable. We also enjoyed use of the golf cart and bikes as well. We hope to return soon! | We had the best vacation we've ever had in this wonderful home! The Reaves home was so cheerful and welcoming! It was perfect for our three boys who were absolutely glued to the picture window as we watched dolphins and pelicans during breakfast and dinner each day! The location was perfect! The home was so comfortable and the amenities were great! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to vacation here. We will definitely be back! |

What a great Memorial day vacation at Fripp. After going to Wild Dunes for the past 9 years we were looking for something a little different, and we found it at Fripp! In fact, we'll be going again next year! The Reaves home was exceptional with everything we needed. I would recommend both Fripp and this home to anyone who may be considering a trip to the SC lowcountry.

We had a FANTASTIC time on Fripp----spent many wonderful hours on the front deck of this GORGEOUS home enjoying the great sound system. In between tunes we then enjoyed the sound of the waves. Also had great star gazing at night.
The numerous sightings of dolphins, pelicans and deer were quite entertaining----never got to see an alligator, though. My sons actually fed one of our favorite "pet" deer pieces of an apple right from their hands. Smaller than our deer in IL, but much more tame.
We'd also enjoyed the use of the fun golf cart----loved the ambiance on the island---so quaint and easy-going w/ everyone mostly getting around on golf carts and bikes and everyone in a holiday mood.
The pools were lovely---we could always find a chair and the water temp was perfect. The beaches were delightful---people actually walked all the way out to the sandbars! Our bodies are back to reality in IL, but our minds are still down in SC.... We definitely would like to return and stay at this same home!!! :)

Fripp Island is the perfect place to vacation.
Cross the bridge, check all your cares and worries at the guard post and enter paradise.
"Our house"(for at least that wonderful week) Oh yeah, The Reaves home was nestled down in the greatest location surrounded on two sides by wooded seclusion and the other-well there are NO words to describe the breath taking view of the ocean. I envy anyone that gets to wake up to that view every morning. The Reaves have done a wonderful job of making there home feel just like your own. It was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. All you need to do is bring food & drink - everything else you need is already there.
The golf carts are a really neat way to travel around the island. One of my favorite things was our evening drive just after dinner right about dusk. All the deer, roaming free - they paid no attention to us; as if they allowed us to be a part of their world.
We hope to be able to return to Fripp real soon, and we know exactly where we will stay.

| We stayed at the Reaves' home over Easter and were very, very happy. Great views of the ever changing ocean, loved the pelicans diving for supper, scooted about the island in the golf cart and scooters, and had a number of heavily heated ping pong tournaments. Everything in this home is top-notched and since I could never afford to live on the ocean (well, maybe in a tent) it is nice to have a bit of paradise. The Santores |

My two sons and I have just spent one of the greatest vacations together that we have ever had and much of it was due to this absoulutely perfect home we had the pleasure of staying in for the week on Fripp Island! The Reaves family has truly thought of so many details when decorationg & furnishing their house on Fripp, that it was apparent this was their home and NOT just some casual low grade rental. The views from the huge ocean front windows and porch were so breathtaking and such a blessing to wake up to each morning. It was hard to call it a night each night, knowing we were getting one day closer to the time we would have to depart. Being a home school family in addition to the benefit of living only a couple hours away, we are sure we will be coming back to the Reaves home hopefully many times over and we loved this off-season time of year. The interior design was first class all the way, the beds were high quality and wonderful to sleep on, everything was clean and in excellent condition, and the included golf cart proved to be an invauable asset when seeing the island as it should be seen and experienced each day.
We all thank you John and your family so very much for making available your spectacular home and we look forward to a continued rental relationship with you and possibly the joy of meeting you one day! You were the perfect host and gentleman throughout the reservation process and the speed of return of our security deposit was lightening fast! Everything was given our A++++++++ rating.

| What a beautiful house and view! We spent a lot of time in the rocking chairs on the front porch looking at the ocean, watching the porpoises and being amazed by the spectacular night sky. I have been going to South Carolina with friends for
15 years. We have always gone to Kiawah Island.
This year another friend suggested we go to the
Reaves home on Fripp Island--so we did. This
home is definitely a home and NOT just a house. It
is the place I wish I could LIVE!!! It is everything you
could hope for in a vacation for a week or two. The
Reaves family is welcoming and their personal care
is amazing. The view from the kitchen, living room,
and master bedroom is an awesome experience. If
you want a vacation and an experience that cannot
be equaled this is the place for you! Thank you to
the Reaves Family for sharing this slice of heaven
with those of us who want an extraordinary beach

| This was our first trip to Fripp and it certainly won't be the last. It was a family vacation (5 families~3 families staying at the Reaves and the other 2 elsewhere on the island). We can't say enough about our accommodations. This place was amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything more and when we return we won't even consider staying anywhere else on the island. Thanks to the Reaves for making it such a great experience. They were perfect hosts ~ thinking of every detail to make our vacation one of the best ever. We already miss the beautiful sunrises on our front porch, the dolphins out in the ocean every afternoon, the deer in our front yard in the evening and, of course the relaxing beach. We've been back home for less than a week and we're ready to go back! |

| We have been going to Fripp for over 15 years and just last year we discovered this amazing vacation home! The view is stunning from almost every room in the house. The owners have made it truly a home-away-from-home with it's stylish decor, entertainment possiblities ( golf cart,foosball, ping-pong, stereo system and movies!) My children love this place!!!!! | What a great vacation home! The pictures and description don't come close to doing this property justice. This was our first trip to Fripp and I can't imagine going anywhere else for a family vacation. We have 2 small children under the age of 4 and they had a blast. We will be making this an annual trip to this great island and great home! Our suggestion, get your groceries on the way into the island and never leave once you are there. |

This clean, well-decorated home provided a
perfect vacation headquarters for our two
families. We spent a lot of time enjoying the
view of the ocean from the picture windows
along the entire east side of the house. The
kitchen table was perfect for meals and for
evening games of dominoes, cards, etc.
Foosball and Ping-Pong tournaments rounded
out the indoor activities.
The golf cart and bicycles were kept busy.
How nice that they came with the house!! We
highly recommend this rental. We all
(including our four teenage boys) want to
spend another week at this house. |

| This was the best vacation we have ever had. The house was gorgeous, beautiful, fantastic. Could not have asked for more. This was our first time to Fripp so.....the minute we walked in the house and saw the view we all stated "we want to come here next year!" A golf cart is a must for the island and the fact that we did not have to find one to rent was great. We have 2 teenagers (such picky kids) and they could not say the word awesome enough when it came to the house. We are definitely coming back next year, same house..... |

Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the island as well as all of the pleasurable accommodations provided by the Reaves. We found the home to be very efficient as well as user friendly. | We spent our 2005 Easter vacation here at Fripp Island. We have to comment on how clean and organized your home was. We appreciated how each switch was labeled and also the rest of your labeling. We experienced quite a rainy Easter but with the foosball, ping pong and playstation our two teenage gals were kept occupied. The view of the ocean was spectacular. We also enjoyed having a tv in each bedroom. Our vacation was fantastic but much too short. We have been coming to Fripp Island for the last 13 years and your view of the ocean was by far the best. We were wonderfully surprised by the stunning views of this home. The ocean is literally every where and in every room! There were also little traffic, which made my training wheel bike riders comfortable. Every morning we woke with a beautiful view of the ocean in the living room, the dining room and the kitchen.
The golf cart makes island traveling easy. One thing I noticed this year is that the pool at Cabana Club is actually heated enough for swimming.
Our vacation was wonderful, I'd recommend this house highly, as we will be returning as well. |

The house was wonderfully stocked - not something you find in many rentals. The extras, like the golf cart and bicycles, were a great bonus. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in mid-July of 2004. The ocean view is wonderful. The occasional appearance of the porpoise within yards of the sea wall makes the view just that much more wonderful.
The house is very nicely decorated and the accomodations are extremely comfortable. I would strongly recommend renting this property. |

| We recently visited Fripp Island and stayed at your house. It was absolutely perfect for our group! Our friends who were staying elsewhere told us we had rented the nicest house on the island! It was wonderful to wake up and have an ocean view from the bedroom, kitchen and den - and the deck was ideal for star-gazing at night. The house was very well equipped - and had very comfortable linens and furniture. We will definitely rent this house again! |

No photos can do this house justice! It has the most amazing views, and is beautifully decorated inside. The owners have thought to include everything possible item to make your visit more comfortable even down to the bandaids in the bathrooms...the kitchen is fully stocked...and you do not need to bring anything for the beach, everything is there including beach towels!
We have rented properties up and down the Carolina coast, and nothing could compare to this lovely house. |

| We just returned from Fripp Island on Saturday, August 7th. We are also ready to go back!!! The house was just like the photos, BEAUTIFUL!! The weather was wonderful and so were the people. We had a blast at the pools and of course the ocean. This was our second visit to the island and it won't be the last. It is so laid back and relaxing, we rode around on the golf cart and I don't believe there is one spot on the island we didn't see. The dolphins at night and in the morning were spectacular. The sunsets!! Well, I have succeeded in making myself homesick for Fripp!!! |

We have stayed in houses on various islands and the owners here have provided more of the little necessities than any others where we have vacationed - little things like paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc. The weather was kind of cool but all in all we had a good time. |
