My family of six just stayed in this apartment for six nights. The place is great!! The bedrooms are very comfortable with a nice eat in kitchen. The location is the best, as one can walk everywhere. There is a supermarket right across the street and Campo de Fiori is just a few blocks away. Mery was so welcoming. She arranged for transportation to and from the airport and she was always available to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this place! |

Me, my husband, daughter, son and daughter in law stayed at this apt. just a few weeks ago (April, 2009). It was absolutely perfect for our trip. It's very large, three bedrooms, one bath, washer, nice kitchen. Location was wonderful. Lots of restaurants, shops, buses, etc. even a grocery right across the street. Emy's father in law even picked us up at the airport and took us to the train station when we left so we didn't have to worry about calling cabs, etc. We would definitely recommend staying here.

For February 2009 we were the first guests at this newly renovated apartment. The location, a few steps from Trastevere across the ancient pedestrian bridge Ponte Sisto and Campo di Fiori in the other direction is fantastic. Located on the first foor up (with lift for luggage etc.), the apartment is modern with good equipment. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and it has a large bathroom (rare in Rome). There is a porter for security. There is an excellent small supermarket open 7 days a week 8:30am - 9pm literally across the street that takes credit cards and can provide almost every need. Highly recommended. Very friendly owner and agent. Agent speaks very good English.

We loved this apartment in this very old character building in Rome. It was close to all of the major ruins in the heart of everything, yet the building itself was very quiet. The restaurant against the wall across the street was the best food we had in the 6 nights we stayed. The arranged ride to and from the airport was much appreciated for a traveler from a distant land. If we ever come back to Rome we would definitely look Elvira House up again.

Awesome location within 50 yards of an entrance to the Roman Forum. In fact, we used the forum as a shortcut to the Colosseo metro station. Our family of six was a bit cramped, but felt like we experienced Rome in a genuine manner. The pick-up service from/to the airport/train station offered is very helpful.

Wonderful apartment!!! We had a grocer, 3 restaurants and a tabacchi right outside the door. The Roman Forum was directly across the side street. It was beautiful and accessable to all the sites. We walked everywhere. There is a bus stop one block away and Piazza Venezia is right around the corner. Truly a great find, we were so happy to find this place!! Thank you, Emy!!
