Dear Donna,
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your chalet in the Poconos, what I thought of as "the cottage in the woods." It was just right for us, cozy but with dlots of room. With all the space you have, lots more people could use it. We especially like the wood stove - your recommendation to use Dura Wood was great - and we used it both nights, not just to get the chill out (it rained all weekend) but for the cozy atmosphere it provided. Friday was Ted's birthday and we cooked in, surf and turf we brought with us, and had everything we needed to make the dinner.
Again, thanks so much for the use of your home. If you're ever in the market for a vacation rental on Grand Bahama Island, let us know, we're listing 36816 on VRBO.

Thanks so much for letting us rent your place! It is so beautiful there and we had a great week. We stayed from 7/31/09 to 8/7/09. The community is great and we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, game room, fishing, tennis courts, and exploring. We went to the nascar race, found a go cart track, a reptile zoo and Bushkill Falls. The kids loved it! We visited the pocono candle shop, went shopping, and so much more. We saw alot of deer and even had a doe eating bread about 5 feet away. Looking forward to returning next year.

Hi Donna ... We had a nice, relaxing stay. Your home was perfect for us. My daughter took the bedroom upstairs while my son, husband and I shared the 1st floor bedroom!
We were close to my cousin who also lives in Long Pond -- near the Emerald Lake Estates way down Long Pond Road – I haven’t seen her in 4 years – so it was a nice reunion.
We saw deer everyday – and my dog was not quite sure what to make of them – she didn’t bark, just stood there thinking they were mighty big dogs!!!
The kids enjoyed the indoor pool, snow tubing and horsebackriding -- even my son was able to enjoy a trail ride twice.
Thank you again for the opportunity to stay there for our break away from Long Island. Hopefully we can get up there again soon! Happy New Year!

Hi Donna,
I just wanted you to know that I have received my security check. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while we were at your house. We had a lot of fun. I really loved the way you have everything decorated. We also enjoyed watching the deer on the side of the house and in the back yard. Where you are located, there is so many places you can go in a short period of time. It only took us a 1 1/2 hours to get to Cabela's. We enjoyed the screened in porch so much I am making my husband do that to our back deck. Some day we would like to do it again.

Hi, Donna, Well, I was going to write to you before but I really didn't have enough time because i had to go to work early today. But it was amazing, we got to see the deer and the view in the morning time it was really wonderful, we are looking forward to going back sometime soon. If that is okay with you, maybe stay for a week or so because now we know our way around. The last day we stood there we went on a horseback riding trip which was OH MY GOD WONDERFUL. We went through the lakes and streams, we got to see turkeys and our tour guide was so sweet he would gobble and the turkeys would gobble right back. It truly was a memorable experience. OH YEA, also sitting down by the fire place with the log burning was so nice, we all just turned off all the lights and had only the warm light from the fireplace. THIS WAS LIKE NOTHING MY FAMILY AND I EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. I just want to say thank you again for the millionth time. Your house w as so nice and comfortable and clean. I will be calling to go back soon.

We had a wonderful time. You have a lovely hame and we enjoyed ourselves. The children were very excited when they woke up to find five Deer grazing just off the back deck. We went horse back riding (I havn't done that in 20 years) It was great. There was so much to do. Restaurants, Crossings, Your rec center was great. Going back up again soon.

| This beautiful Chalet is a WONDERFUL Get-away! It is very cozy and comfortable. The privacy makes it all the more enjoyable. This is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. You will forget about the outside world... There are no worries, and no one bothers you! (Just don't leave your trash on the porch, a hungry critter may want a snack late at night.) You will find yourself saying, "I could live here." You won't want to leave! |

Two words, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!
The day we arrived, a deer walked right thru the driveway and the whole time we were there, we saw them and their babies. Great Location to everything and a very nice community. Can't wait to return next year !! I highly recommend this chalet to anyone wanting to experience the Pocono Mountains. |

We had a great time. Your place is lovely. Everything we needed was there. So clean and well stocked.
The view was breath taking sitting up there on the top of the mountain. The location was convenient for the kids to walk to the pool and the lake. Emerald Lakes is really nice. We'll be back. |
