Thank you both so much! We had an absolutely fabulous time and we found so much to do both at the cabin and in and around Nevada City. It was just the peaceful experience that we were looking for. We also loved being able to take the dogs on a vacation with us.

| We have been to the cabin many times. On each visit, we are impressed with the comfort of the cabin, its immaculate condition, its serene surroundings. The owners must spend a lot of time there themselves, as the cabin is full of "homey"touches and an amazing amount of amenities (some you might not even suspect). Everything is geared for the comfort and pleasure of the renters. We plan to keep coming back! |

| We rented this cabin to get out of Oakland for the weekend of the 4th of July. I took my 10 year old daughter, one of her friends and our 15 month old dog. We had a great time. The cabin was very nice. Not luxury accomodations but not nearly as rustic as I expected. Very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and supplies and, since the cabin was placed under a lot of trees, it stayed very comfortable with the help of overhead fans. The kids and dog loved the lake and were swimming most of the time. I just loved watching them reading on the front deck of the cabin and generally relaxing. The only "helpful" feedback I would add is it would have been helpful to have a screen door on the front door. Then we could have had the front door open for the air and not let the dog out or mosquitos & flies in. Fantastic weekend!! |

We have held the last 3 Annual Woods Family reunions here, and have scheduled our 4th. We have a large family gathering, approximately 35 of us show up each year and take over the whole lodge/cabin and camp areas. We enjoy the lodge as a family gathering area for meals and entertainment. There is no place else we have found that include so many extras that we need. We enjoy the commercial size kitchen, the large outdoor fire pit, the row boats and outdoor decks. It may not be 4 star fancy, but certainly accommodates large groups/families. We would like to thank John and Kathryn McNitt for their hospitality over the years.
