This was perhaps my 12th visit to Paris and it was indeed the best accommodations and location that I have had. My wife, daughther, friend and I came for a week. Rue Buci is a fabulous location for everything you need to see, want or do. Great food, great people watching, great location, great markets. The groundfloor courtyard apartment was wonderful. It was amazing how quiet it was with all of the outside activity just beyond the doors of the courtyard. We found ourselves always waking up on the late side of the morning because of the tranquility and comfort of the apartment. This is a homey apartment that has been used regularly and so perhaps one could be disappointed with the used condition of some the furniture, but then again we are talking antiques from another generation. The master bed was extremely comfortable. Please feel free to contact me for any further reference. I would be delighted to share our experience.

My huband, 3 teenagers (12, 13, 15) and I stayed at this apartment in the summer of 2007. We had a great time. It is in a perfect location. We also had Pascal set up a van to pick us up and take us to the airport. That is the way to go! It made everything very simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Location! Location! Location! We (my wife, mother, daughter (5), son (3), and me) stayed at 13 Rue de Buci from April 22 to April 30, 2008. It was great. We made all of the arrangements with Pascal who was very accomodating and responsive. Pascal arranged for a private van to pick us up at the airport and take us to the apartment. It was definitely worth the extra money. We arranged to have the same company take us back to the airport. The apartment was very comfortable and plenty roomy for all five of us. The apartment isn't exactly five star and could probably use a little remodeling, but it is clean, nicely decorated, and includes all necessary conveniences. The neighborhood is amazing. There is a full grocery store, Champion, two doors away. There is a bakery on the corner. The street is primarily pedestrian only and includes numerous brasseries, bars, shops, vegetable/fruit stands, creperies, and an ice cream shop. Its lively and full of people all of the time. And it is a close walk to several metro and RER stations. We often walked to the Saint Michel RER station to zip to Gar du Nord in five minutes and the Eiffel Tower in about seven minutes. You can really get to anywhere in Paris from this location. And you can walk to many locations also. We walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Musee Orsay, and the Hotel Invilades amongst many other places. We also enjoyed a nice dinner at the Polidor which was a short walk away. We really enjoyed ourselves at this apartment and were very comfortable. Thanks to Pascal and Jim. We'd definitely stay here again.

My husband and I couldn't believe that this quiet, fabulous apartment was really on r.de Buci with all the activity of an upscale market street! This is the most sensational area in all of Paris yet the apartment feels like a little private home with garden. So easy to walk right in and not have to deal with getting luggage and groceries upstairs and the apartment is appointed with the very best of taste and comfort in mind. It is great for two couples or adults and kids sharing as everyone has their own space to spread out. Pascal, as always was the perfect host. It is impossible to imagine renting from anyone else ever again after the way he spoils us every time.

This apartment was a wonderful oasis to return to after a busy day of museums, shopping and city walking. The neighborhood is filled with delightful restaurants that stay open long enough to satisfy jet-lagged hunger and very interesting little art galleries and shops. The apartment itself is a comfortable blend of antiques and modern conveniences, the heated towel rack in the master bathroom was a delight after drizzly walks! The size and convenient location of the apartment is remarkable for this very elegant part of Paris. I would highly recommend the apartment for a party of 4 or more and would be happy to answer questions if you are considering staying here. Pascal and Jim made our stay in Paris and this apartment a wonderful memory.

We had a wonderful week staying at the apartment with our 2 daughters. The neighborhood is one of the best, and everything was in walking distance. Jim and Pascal did a wonderful job of making us feel at home.

Our family of four were very comfortable in the accomodations and everything was exactly as described. Jim and Pascal were a pleasure to deal with. We would be happy to stay here again. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen daughters) enjoyed a week at this flat in late March '05. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The easy access to Metro, Museums, restaurants, shops and city life was terrific. Ground floor was great and the remarkably quiet courtyard was a welcome change from the energy of the street right out front. We overheard many people at the airport lamenting their Marais or Latin Quarter locations - this was a perfect place to experience the buzz of Paris life, the peacefulness of the Luxembourg Gardens, the historic feel of the Ile St. Louis all within 10-15 minutes walk. (And the Patisserie on the corner was almost as good as the Ice Cream shop across the street!) Next time we're in Paris, we're staying here.

One couldnt ask for a better, or more central, location than Rue de Buci (15 min walk from Notre Dame, Lourve, 10 min from Musuem D'Orsay). Just outside the apartment is a wonderland of delicious foods, markets, and cafes. The grocery store is just a few doors down which couldnt be more convenient either. We had 2 couples staying at the apartment and all was clean and comfortable. The apartment manaager and owner are a pleasure to work with as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Our party of five stayed in the apartment in October 2004. It was a perfect spot and a great apartment for a truly marvelous vacation. Rue de Buci is the perfect area to experience Paris. I have got to get back!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 young teens rented Rue de Buci for 4 nights in winter. It was brilliantly central, warm and well appointed. Being a ground floor appartment turned out to be a bonus as we did not have to lug our, by then heavy, suitcase up stairs. The supermarket is 2 or 3 doors to the left and within a couple of blocks is internet hire. The oldest restaurant in Paris is a delightful treat, just around the corner. We'd be very happy to stay in this appartment again.
