"Some of the highlights: Walk to bucerias (abouat a one hr. walk north on the beach with 3 children and 1 husband picking up shells along the way); breakfast at Red Apple Restaurant in Bucerias, amazing ocean view and kids LOVED the hot cakes; daughter fond a vendor that sold $2.00 necklaces and $1.00 bracelets - she bought 14 necklaces for her teammates!; great prices on anything, we had a lot of fun shopping here, went back to Bucerias again for more hot cakes and shopping the second week; parasailing is a blast".

"We came here as a final vacation before Brad gears up for Iraq. What a treat!! This place is amazing. Bucerias was our favorite han out. We found a little place called Bambu with outdoor seating and great food (and margaritas). Dinner at El Panorama in PV was a dining experience not to be forgotten. The view, music, food and atmosphere are the best ever. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your little slice of Paradise. We hope to come back and bring our children".

"We rented a car in Bucerias. Gave us lots of flexibility to come and go as we pleasted. In Puerton Vallarta, we visited Old Town, walking the boardwalk at night. Shops were open late into the evening and lots of activity on the boardwalk. A fun evening. Bucerias is simply the best little town! We couldn't stop going back for the restaurants, shops and daily trips to the mini-super. By week's end we felt like locals. It has so much character. Our favorite spots: Dugarels, Mery y Sol and Karen's Place for either dinner or breakfast. We found a wonderful little bakery that makes bread in an old faxhioned brick oven".

"Whale watching in season is a must. We chose a 4 hr. trip and had incredible success getting close and almost comfortable with 40 ton whales! A second water trip was to Rhythms of the Night. A beautiful boat ride along the coast to Las Caletas ends in a candle lit landing - short shows. Dinner on the beach and the ride back across the bay is beautiful too. Thanks for letting us share your home. It has everything!"

"Wednesday we went to Puerto Vallarta, shopping at all the local tiendas and finally seeking refuge from te sun at an American favorite, Hard Rock Cafe. We know we should venture out, so we took in our last "American Food" for the next five days. That evening we went to Bucerias to havfe a look around and mingle with some locals. We enjoyed several coronas at a very small bar and flirted with out spanish. We quickly earned a free dish of appetizers with our enthusiasm!"

"We ate out every other night - too lazy to get dressed up. Sat on the veranda and watched the sunsets, ate shrimp and drank margarhitas. We really enjoyed Bucerias! Went four times to shop, eat, go to church. The market was great - we loved the bargaining. The walk is good to go there, but we always taxied back."

"Flamingos provides wonderful relief from the crowds. We were always able to get a palapa or umbrella each day to have some shade".

"..We took a six hour cruise on a Catamaran. It was just great. Stopped to snorkel at Mahahuita..good but too short, then we went to Yalepa for lunch..awesome! You'll have a wonderful time, it's such a beautiful place. The driving is quite an experience".
