An excellent experience, centrally located but out of the way. The owners are wonderful and very hospitable.
The beautiful cabin is situated around 9500 feet at the top of a small hill in a peaceful, private and quiet location. Great views of the mountains from the deck. Aspen and fir trees surrounding the property.
Some days we simply stayed in and enjoyed the solitude of our surroundings, reading books and playing board games. Others we ventured out to explore the many sights and activities that are close by.
I'd recommend the short paved drived to Twin Lakes and Independence Pass. Jefferson Lake, north of Jefferson is also nice. We saw many elk, mule deer, antelope, and big horn sheep. |

| This was a clean, comfortable place for our family to stay while vacationing in Colorado. Centrally located to many of the areas/attractions we wanted to visit. The views are beautiful. We saw Pronghorns, Jack Rabbits, and a Coyote near the place as well as Elk in a town near by. We especially enjoyed the Boreas Pass from Como to Breckenridge. We wished we had a more all terain vehichle to travel more of the less traveled roads in the area. Thanks for adding to our vacation memories. |
