Tom, Thanks for the quick return of our Security Deposit. We did have a great (almost) week in your very comfortable home. Loved the nostalgia of the style and era. We enjoyed the view, watching college football (esp.Alabama's win) on Sat. and the sheer convenience of the location is a real plus. Will definitely keep it in mind for any recommendation. Our only suggestion for any type of creature comfort would be a clock in the bedroom(s) and more dish cloths and towels in the kitchen. Certainly not a deal breaker. Thanks again for helping make our week such a nice, carefree one! Phyllis

We came from San Antonio in search of snow. Snow Angels ... a Snowman, Snowball fights - we did it all in this yard where a family's memories forever hold this cottage dear. Warm and inviting inside - your home was ours for five days.

After all the effort not to be sick on vacation, it happened the day before we left Walterboro. I was in a really ill mood from the 5 hour trip here. Cold and ready for relief.
When we opened the front door to "White Pine", it was like the most warm welcome home I had ever felt entering my own home. I instantly felt relief from the cold and the trip.
Stu, the kids and I were very happy to share your space for a short stay, but it felt like we belonged here. Many Thanks!

Returned from Blowing Rock last night and really enjoyed the cottage. Very comfortable and perfect size and location for our family. We were close to the horse show and town which was exactly what we needed. Loved the "central air!!!! We were the envy of all our horse show friends who had a couple sweltering days (although nothing compared to Charlotte, I hear!) Loved the short walk to town...walked off the Kilwins. After walking the swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain, we loved the view of it every day from the deck. I finished three puzzles out there. Great time. Once I get the dates for next year's horse show, you should be hearing from me. Are there any Christmas tree places nearby... we are thinking of a winter visit.

Nice family vacation. Your storms are, however, supercharged! Good time for family to re-unite, socialize, play games and enjoy the food of the area. Has been rather rainy, but have managed to plan outings around the weather.
We certainly hope to see the sunset over Grandfather Mtn., but so far the weather has not cooperated. Great location to all the amenities.

Hi Vickie,
Your cabin was exactly as you said - cozy, private and a perfect place for us and our 2 dogs! Maggie (our youngest mastiff) and I walked up to Main St. every morning - a great way to start the day! The doggies loved watching the sun come up out on the porch, although it was a little too cold for my husband and I!
This area is quite charming, especially here in Blowing Rock! We're glad we stayed here, and not over in Boone. And the fall colors were absolutely gorgeous! The only negative factor we found - the traffic!!! I've never seen such long lines of car backed up, as when we came back from the Parkway thru Boone on Thursday! (Luckily, we're never in a hurry!)

We enjoyed not one but two snowfalls during our stay here over Presidents Day weekend. Blowing Rock is extremely picturesque in the snow. We loved the fireplace and the view. Our family enjoyed the cozy cabin and hope to come back over the summer to be able to use the back porch.
