We had a fabulous, although brief, stay in Beachlands.

This place surpassed all our expectations - 1/2 hour from the airport, right on the beach, 40 mins by car to Auckland.

Really really cosy home. Lovely log fire for the evenings, all the home comforts, spacious rooms, great kitchen, spa pool, local shops, with a great butcher plus some general stores. Owner is lovely, very helpfull and knowledgable, though not intrusive at all.

If you stay you'll love it.

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful time at the house. We did have a couple of off days and a very heavy thunder storm one evening. But the sea was so close and the use of the Kayak more than made up for this. We used the bbq on several occasions taking in the tranquility of the garden. The advantage of the shops, with a great butcher and a couple of general stores made it easier to bbq as the weather demanded. Beachlands it a beautiful spot and one that I would return to again and again. Our hostess was very friendly and offered some good advice during her welcome phone call.
