Anthoni; On our last trip to France in 2005, we spent a week at your delightful "Lighthouse". The accommodations were perfect and thoughtfully appointed. The location was the best in the village, and we spent endless hours on the balcony, watching the comings and goings of the fishermen and the private yachts from early dawn to evening in the harbor below. In addition, there are so many attractions in the area to keep one totally absorbed, not to mention the many and varied restaurants within a few minutes stroll. We plan to return to "Lighthouse" on our next France trip in 2010.

| My first experience in renting an apartment in Europe. It was perfect. Cassis is so charming, the people could not have been nicer, the apartment perfectly situated overlooking the harbour with everything you need to settle in and feel at home. The apartment is also spacious although we found it very difficult to pull ourselves off of the front terrace... where we spent hours drinking the exceptional wine local to the area and watching the port life. Thanks to Anthony and Victor...looking forward to a return visit! |

| Our apartment stay was excellent and by far the highlight of our vacation in France. If we could we would hop back there and spend two weeks immediately. The view was spectacular and even better than pictured. The apartment was also more spacious than indicated by the pictures. Access to restaurants, hiking and beaches was easy. Both Victor and Anthony were professional, prompt and enjoyable and we thank them both for this great Cassis experience. |

This apartment is a welcome change from the hotel stays. The view of the harbor and surrounding area is absolutely mezmorizing. The markets in the area have excellent produce and cheese for a home cooked meal. There is also a lot of action along the strand. This location is a good base from which you can explore lower Provence. Overall, Lighthouse is a place you won't want to leave. |

Dear Anthony, We had a WONDERFUL time while at your apartment in Cassis. The initial view and apartment brought tears to my eyes and a hug to Victor! What a great apartment! Clean, roomy, comfortable and the view!! Awesome! The views of the lighthouse, the little town and boats was something we will never forget! We enjoyed Cassis with the great people, shopping and food. We enjoyed a cruise to the cliffs and drove to the neighboring towns for sightseeing. It was the perfect place to vacation! Thanks so much for making the place available to regular people like our small group! I hope we can come back some day. And thanks to Victor for his welcoming attitude and warmth! He was so nice! | What an enjoyable week. The apartment is in a perfect location - close enough for the busyness of Cassis, yet far enough away to escape from the bustle. Wonderful views with the activity in the harbour being better than any satelite channel. The design and fit-out of the apartment work very well and makes for a comfortable base. We parked out hire car on arrival and left it for a week. Great eating, swimming and promenading. For the first time in my life I've already booked next year's holiday: same time, same place, can't wait. |

The Lighthouse was more than we ever hoped it would be. What a fabulous little piece of heaven you have there, Anthony. We loved the beautiful view and all the activity in the harbor. The little town of Cassis is wonderful and the food delectable. We ate seafood the whole time we were there and it was superb! We have rented houses all over France, but yours most definitely is one of our favorites. By the way, we really enjoyed Victor. What a terrific guy and he could not have been more welcoming. Also, thanks for the bottle of wine. We brought it home to toast CASSIS and THE LIGHTHOUSE! Many thanks again. Karen and John Kane Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA |

Dear Anthony, We returned from our vacation yesterday afternoon. We wanted to send you an e-mail as quickly as possible to let you know that we had the best vacation we have ever experienced. Thanks in large part to your fantastic apartment, the most perfect view we have ever had, and the truth in your words regarding the magic of Cassis. Thank you for everything Anthony. Truly, the apartment went well beyond our expectations, Victor was a pleasure, the food the weather and the wine, all beyond exceptional. It is a given that we will return some day, and in the meantime we will be recommending your apartment to everyone we can think of. Thank you again Anthony, and thanks to Victor. Best Regards, Kelley and John Bloom

| ...i think that when one refers to life through rose tinted glasses, it would be like looking at life in Cassis...from the luxury of the apartment balcony (with a few cushions mind!)..a true window on a world where moments melt as you sip champagne and enjoy the time with those close to you, to listen to the sounds of the sea and watch the varying shades of light on the rock, to hear the laughter of children as they prepare for lessons at sea and to watch those simply at home in the dock...the calanques offer plenty on foot or on fin, however like me you may quickly find yourself drawn back to your view of nature’s best..life can be sweet, a lasting memory and someplace where one visit would never be enough... |

What a great view! What an easy to deal with landlord! What a nice guy who meets you with the keys! What a quiet street after the sun goes down!
Hopefully Anthony will install a modem of some sort for us techno types, that was the only thing missing--and it's missing, all over town.
We agree with the previous poster who comments about the restaurants on the side streets rather than the places on the harbor.
If you have a car go up on the spectacular hill across the harbor--wonderful views!
Great homebase for shooting out to Aix and the villages. Even Avignon, Nimes, Pont du Gard are not too far if you get up and get out at an early hour.
Of course we were there in early May before half the known universe shows up on the coast road.
We'll be back so don't mess the place up. |

We spent a glorious week in Cassis at the apartment and love it! The view is absolutely breathtaking! We sat and drank wine and watched looked out at the water and the lovely boats coming and going. We particularly enjoyed watching the sailing lesson for a dozen 6 or 7 year olds! While the food along the main thoroughfare was not particularly good, we found excellent food at some the of the smaller restaurants and cafes down some of the smaller streets. We enjoyed the seafood pizza cooked in a real pizza oven. The owner was delightful, so we stayed and drank wine as we watched him prepare pizzas and put them on the glowing fire in the oven. The Calanques tour was interesting and fun for an afternoon outing. The men playing boule in the square were also fun to watch. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would certainly recommend Cassis and the accomodations to anyone interested in that kind of trip. The kitchen is well equiped (we even cooked in a couple of nights) and the beds were very comfortable. The breeze through the apartment was amazing. Internet access in the town was limited and the sattelite TV did not always work, but the view made gave us something better to watch. Can't wait to return!!! |

We loved our two weeks (wished for more) in Cassis, it was a real treat to stay there for a change rather than the day visits we have done in previous years. The apartment was great, wonderful view yet very peaceful, everything we could wish for, enjoyed the well appointed kitchen facilities as well as exploring the many local restaurants. We lucked out with beautiful sunny days except for a wee bite of the Mistral. Victor was a delight, very helpful and the bottle of wine was a nice touch after a long journey. We do hope to return next year.

| We stayed at this wonderful apartment in mid September and truly enjoyed it and Cassis. The beaches, the town, restaurants, markets and wines were all fabulous. But the best thing of all was the view! Truly magnificent! And the owner and the local agent were paragons of helpfulness. An excellent vacation experience. |

We enjoyed two weeks here in Cassis. We found the apartment excellently located - just on the edge of the small town with wonderful views of the harbour and close enough to walk within a few minutes of the local restaurants.
We enjoyed the early season freshness of Cassis. |

Very well appointed, comfortable bed, lovely view and extremely convenient to shops and restaurants, even English papers at 8.00am on the right day ! Wonderful cooker which was a bit confusing to someone accustomed to an Aga! |

| I loved staying in this flat.In the winter it is cosy and the light comes pouring in through the beautiful window in the sitting room. In the summer the sea glitters and the lively little port is fascinating to watch. I am a painter and Cassis for me was inspirational. Thank you for a lovely place. Annabel Gault. |

A beautiful appartment for a family of 4. We spent a week off season and Cassis is a great town to relax, go hiking in the calanques and swim in the mediteranean for a minute or two. Spectacular view and the kids can walk to the "boulangerie" in the morning along the quiet harbor...

| We spent a lovely week out of season at this beautifully situated apartment right on the harbour at Cassis. To get up in the morning (or even in the middle of the night!) and gaze out over the fishing boats and the lighthouse and the towering cliffs of cap Canaille was an unforgettable experience. All the bars, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance - which is just as well as parking is a bit of a nightmare! All in all, a great place for a relaxing and typically Provencal vacation. |
