| Location, location, location. My wife and I had a great week staying here. A lovely cabin at a great price, and central to some great day trips. There is a full-size grocery 1.5 miles from the cabin. An hour's drive from Fontana dam. 15 minutes from Cherokee, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also visited Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. Very roomy with lovely decore. Stay Here! |

| My husband and I stayed at Buffalo Creek Guest Cottage in October, 2008. Driving up the road leading to this most beautiful cabin, we knew that we were in for a special treat. We loved every minute....Beau is a wonderful host, the cabin was perfect, location couldn't be better as it is close to Bryson City, yet one feels a world away! We will most definitely return, soon! |

We stayed at the Buffalo Creek Guest Cottage for 9 days and had the most amazing holiday. The cabin is situated in an idyllic location with fantastic views but only a short distance from Bryson City which has everything you need in terms of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We thoroughly enjoyed our hiking, mountain biking and white water rafting trips which are also really close by. The cabin itself is well equiped and is really comfortable and homely. Beau was a fantastic host and he certainly made our stay far more memorable. We will definately be re-visiting! |

| Of all the places to visit in Western North Carolina, we were blessed to spend 3-days at the Buffalo Creek Cottage. We could not have chosen a more comfortable haven for rest, relaxation and reflection. Searching for a quiet place to renew ourselves from our fast paced lifestyle, we found more than a peaceful stay - we found a friend in Beau, the gracious host of Buffalo Creek. Without reservation, we highly recommend a visit to Buffalo Creek Cabin and hope that you will enjoy your stay as much as we did. We will absolutely return. |

| Fantastic!!! The photos on the web do not give it justice. The nearest thing to heaven you will find on earth. Great for a couple, Quiet, secluded but still close to town. Great host. Highly recommed. |

| We were very pleased with the accomodations at Buffalo Creek. The cabin was tastefully decorated and equipped with everthing necessary for a stay of a few days or longer. Beau made us feel at home and part of his family. Thanks for a wonderful, quiet retreat. |

| The beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations, inside and out. The mountain views from the cottage were spectacular. Our only regret is not having the opportunity to spend more time with our gracious host. Beau is an absolute joy. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful stay! |

We just spent a week in Beau's guest cottage. My wife and I had the most relaxing vacation in recent years. There are many things to do in the area and the cabin was wonderful. The view from the deck was unbelieveable. |

We decided to come to this wonderful place after my sister and brother-in-law stayed here. Buffalo Creek Cottage is everything you read about and more. The view from the porch is fabulous and and we enjoyed just sitting there and soaking up the beauty. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area and even a train ride!! Our host, Beau, made us feel more like friends who have come to visit than guests. We will plan another visit to this wonderful palce soon.

One of the many items that drew us to this property was the wonderful comments by people who stayed there. We would echo all the great comments already said. I just retired from the Holiday Inn Corp. after 27 years in the hotel/hospitality business and we certainly reconize hospitality when we see it. Beau, the owner, goes beyound normal expectations of what to expect from a rental owner. We certainly felt like guest and friends. This cottage has it all. Comfort, great views, great location, everything you need to enjoy the stay. If you read the other comments you will see a pattern and it's all good. Ww will certainly go back to Buffalo Creek because of the combination of the cottage and Beau. Yes, it's a Ten and Beau is a "11" |

| This cottage (and the view from it) is much more beautiful than the pictures are able to convey. Inside and out, the personal touches and attention from the owner, Beau, had my boyfriend and I feeling as comfortable as we do at home. From campfires on the property at night to snuggling with the resident cats on the deck at sunset, you really couldn't ask for more in a vacation rental: lots of space, privacy, comfort, accomodating host, close proximity to outdoor activities, and amazing views. I did NOT want to leave!!! |

We just completed a very, very enjoyable week at this property. For once, out of the many times we have booked vacation accommodations on line or through an agent,we found a rental property that, not only met our expectations based on the listing description, but, exceeded them.A rarity indeed !!
Two major "plus" factors that are not part of the property description are: 1) although one, immediately, gets the feeling upon arrival that you have found that magic spot in the wilderness that you have been seeking for so long, that makes you feel as though you are in "paradise" and you have it all to yourself,in reality, you are no more than five to ten minutes away from what you might need from town...major grocery store, drug store, restaurants, entertainment, other mercantile establishments for whatever you have forgotten or might need. What convenience !! 2) Most importantly, the owner/host resides, year round, within a "stones throw" of this property, although you wouldn't really know it, unless you needed him.We found him to be very gracious and eager to assist us in any way he could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. That is why I described him as our "host" and not just the owner. We were treated as "guests" not just renters ! If one truly understands the meaning of "guest",one then understands how much that means to having a great vacation. Although the tendency is to "keep it to yourself" when one finds a very unique and perfect vacation site,it would not be fair to our gracious host to not share our wonderful experience with others. Thanks, Beau, for your hospitality!!!We hated to leave;however,we will rebook for next year as soon as we know our vacation schedule. |
