Our stay here was quie enjoyable and we'd definately like to visit again!

It was soo nice to have all the comforts of home here, our children Alyson & Benjamin adjusted to our vacation home very well.

We spent a lot of time on the Sleeping Bear Lake Michigan Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches ever!!! Folks were quite friendly in Leland & Northport. There is just something so wonderful about the scenery of the water .. . great beach for Petosky stones too. WE even bought a polishing kit so we could take some home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for extending the use of your lovely home

What a special time this has been up here in God's country. I watched the sun come up this morning as the wind chimes tinkled in the morning breeze. What a pleasure this has been.

Thank you.

August 25,

Awesome!! We had a wonderful week. Lovely cottage. Views are absolutely spectacular! We also took a few day trips to such places as Sleeping Bear Sand Bunes National Lakeshore Park. It was truly breathtaking, expecially the Pierce Stocking Drive. We also enjoyed Empire Beach and Leland Beach. Water was so blue and warm. Today we went down the road to South Park Beach in Cherry Home Shores Subdivision and had a blast on the white sandy beach. So many blessings this week, just can't name them all.

Thank you so much for sharing your cottage, it has brought us alot of joy and loads of relaxation.

We have enjoyed our fall weekend so much!! Every season here must hold a special magic -- the colors are so brilliant -- truly breathtaking! Visited the candle factory in Traverse City and shopped Sutton's Bay this time. WE took part in the Wine Tasing Festival at Black Star Winery and bought some wine to take home with us; the farm is so picturesque and the day was pretty. Adam found time to get some skating in and thoroughly enjoyed himself and the park. WE probably won't return until next summer, but untl them we will keep our memories every time we look at the photos. Thanks once again for sharing your home with us.

What a beautiful weekend it was. This is our second year coming here and we had a wonderful time, once again. Friday, we went and picked out lots of goodies at the grocery store. We ate a warm supper and played scrabble in front of the fire. Saturday, we went for a hike in the state forest and managed to hike all the way to the water!! It was a warm, sunny day, perfect. Today is our last day - we hae to leave. We will stop in Traverse City on our way out and do a little sightseeing before we go home. Matt & I had a great, quiet weekend, and we can't wait to cmoe back.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AMERICA

Vacations are always great! Enjoyed being here. You have the most fantastic view! Saw boats, liners, jet skies & part of the air show practice . . awesome. But not as awesome as the wildlife. .. deer a doe & 2 fanws, saw Monday & thursday; 2 bucks on Saturday during our bike ride to lighthouse; wild turkeys on side of road into Northport; woodpeckers, 12 swans a loan family; your friendly ground squirrels, WOW. Went rock hunting; hiking and really enjoyed the hammock and fireplace.

We planned our vacation to find a relaxing getaway and found it. We brought our 3 kids and 2 newfoundland dogs. All of them really enjoyed playing in the water. We rented a jet boat and took the dogs for pides. When the kids were tubing and felloff the dogs thought they had to rescue them. That's what they are trained to do --- water rescue. We all enjoyed our time but no we need to get back to the busy live.

Tahnk you for sharing your home with us. It made the stay really nice. Also enjoyed the long walks & sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cobb cottage. It was a great place to relax, which we really needed. Our dog Seamus just loved the beach and the yard. We were able to see many places on the penninsula. The water's great. Loved the hiking trails here and was nice to get to visit family up here and revisit all the familiar places. It's a great spot and such a cozy place to stay with lots of room & very great atmosphere.

As usual, Matt & I had a great time staying at the cottage. This is our third "Fall Getaway" in a row. This time, we brought our friends Stephanie & Jason to see how enjoyable the cottage is! Last night, we had a bonfire on the beach. It was really nice. We made hobodinners and wrapped them in tinfoil, and cookedn them on the fire. We burned the food, but a good time was had by all. We'll be back again next year!!

WE had an incredible time relaxing in your beautiful cottage. The lake view, light snowfall and quiet did our minds and souls good. Thank you for sharing your lovely location with us.

We had a great time looking at the lakeshore from your angle. WE say shoreline we normally don't get to see.

Thanks for Christmas retreat to your cottage! It was the first time I went skiing and I loved it. Great time grilling and watching movies at night while learning how to fall gracefully in day.

Can't wait to come back in the summer time and watch the sunrise over the Bay.
