Dear Aileen, Our adult children were completely happy in your three bedroom apartment while we occupied the next door two bedroom place at Cerrito 1548. The building was well-maintained and we felt secure there. The full-time doorman was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable , the a.c. worked well and we appreciated all the extra amenities (cell phone, phone card, free local calls, free internet, etc.). The free maid service, was also appreciated. The location could not have been better for out needs. Recoleta is a gorgeous , amazingly fragrant (in November, Springtime), tree-lined, walking and shopping area and the restaurants within a five minute radius of the apt. are superb. Buenos Aires is a beautiful , very sophisticated city to which we hope some day to return for a lengthy stay. Thank you for your responsiveness to all our needs and questions. We felt very welcome and cared for. Margarita Boyers |

Dear Aileen
We were a family of four women - 84 year mother, 74 year aunt and two sisters (ages unmentionable) - visiting Buenos Aires for a week. The apartment was extremely comfortable and even meets the needs for senior citizens. You and your staff have done an incredible job of furnishing the apartment, equippingand the bathrooms and kitchen and organizing the apartment's information, making all the "foreign" equipment understandable. Camilla was very helpful in explaining every detail about the apartment and providing information about the neighborhood. In less than 3 hours, we became Buenos Aires residents, shopping for food, wine and the newspaper! I would highly recommend your apartment to anyone desiring to experience BA as a resident and not as a tourist. Many thanks for helping us make our family trip memorable, the O'Hanlons |

Aileen,
Many thanks for allowing us to stay in your wonderful apartment!
We particularly appreciated its comfort, convenience and location. My wife and I, our son and our grandson were very comfortable and had plenty of room within which to spread out. Camila was extremely helpful and we received good recommendations from your recommended travel agents. Your recommendations for local restaurants were spot on - particularly Juana M. There is much to see and do in Buenos Aires and the environs. I would happily go back and spend more time exploring the many lovely streets and sampling the great food and wine.
Once again, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your apartment. As with so many others who have commented, we would have no hesitation in recommending your apartment to future guests.
Best wishes,

We just came back about two weeks ago and are constantly talking about what a good time we had in Buenos Aires. My sister and I went with our husbands and Mom. We were born in Buenos Aires and left when Karin (Nora) was 14 and I was 11. We had a wonderful time visiting family, the old neighborhoods, walking and exploring the city. Prizes are very reasonable and we ate way too much ! It was a pleasure to work with Aileen and Camilla. If you're thinking of renting an apartment, I would strongly encourage you to stay here. The location is great and the apartment was perfect for 5 (or 6) people with all modern conveniences, including washer and dryer. There's always someone in the lobby so you feel very safe coming and going. There are some wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood with Juana M and Liber being our favorites. Our husbands would have been happy going to Liber just down the street every night. Definitely consider going to Iguazu if you can; it's spectacular. We made arrangements with Milagros Herrera and she did a great job for us. We also arranged a Tango show at La Ventana and thought it was one of the best shows we've ever seen. Although of course it is geared towards tourists, it certainly passed our test (nice mix of old and new). Staying at 1560 Cerrito was definitely a win win. Regards from the Foleys, Yanchars and Villemur. |

| We had a blast in BsAs, and this apartment was perfect for us! We are a family of 5 (3 are little boys) and absolutely LOVED Aileen's home away from home. The washer/dryer was a life saver, too. We were shocked at how big the apartment was since it is in a city that big. The location was great (within close walking distance to almost everything) and we felt safe with the 24 hour security. We have been home for a month, now, and are planning our next trip already because we miss it so much. I just hope the apartment will be available!! : ) |

| Perfect! the location can't be beat, the apartment itself is gorgeous, modern, and has everything you could possibly need--including the phone number for the best ice cream in the city delivered right to your door! 5 days wasn't enough and i'd go back in a heart beat. |

We have just returned from our second stay at this fabulous apartment in six months. Both times we have come with our three young children and we have been very comfortable. The apartment is decorated on par with a 5 star hotel and the kitchen is very well equipped. Camilla who assists Aileen in managing the property is amazing - one of the most efficient people I have ever met and has lots of great ideas about where to goo. The apartment is close to everything and we really enjoyed all the great restaurants within walking distance. I really can't recommend the apartment highly enough. We will definnitely be back.
Hope this is hellpful

We had a delightful stay in the apartment. There were four of us (two couples) and the accommodations suited us to a "T". The location is great being located near the Recoleta District, the Retiro train station, and the main boulevard, Nueve de Julio. Camila, the property manager, was helpful in every respect and the lobby personnel gave us an added level of comfort and security. While Internet access was available in the apartment (bring your laptop) there is very inexpensive Internet access available just on the backside of the same block for less than 1/10 of what you would pay at an Internet Cafe in the U.S.A. Tremendous dining choices abound nearby at a fraction of what you would pay anywhere in the U.S. The area around the apartment is one of the safest in Buenos Aires and our wives felt perfectly comfortable shopping on there own, leaving us free to head for the tennis courts every day. We all agree that we would return to B.A. in a heartbeat, and this apartment would be our residence of choice. Jim Engstrom |

Buenos Aires, Argentina Apartment #40216 We have used VRBO for apartments many times. This apartment, in Buenos Aires, exceeded our expectations, and more.
We appreciate the well-tooled kitchen, ample linens and towels, and the comfortable furnishings. We especially appreciated the fact that the apartment is NON SMOKING. The prime location of the apartment in Buenos Aires is convenient to all public and private transportation, within walking distance to shopping, and near many places of interest to tourists.
The apartment is well managed and the contact person in Buenos Aires is efficient and responsive. We also appreciated the fact that the rental of this particular apartment comes with maid service, twice a week. The month of August 2006 we spent here will always hold many wonderful memories and we hope to return.
If this apartment does not please a person(s), then nothing will.
Sincerely, Larry Thomas Jim Winslow Alexandria, Virginia

Dear Aileen;
Our journey through South and North America is nearing its end and I didn't want to leave California without dropping you a line to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment in BA.
Everything worked out perfectly for us. The position of the Apartment was ideal since we went on several train journeys from Retiro - we could walk easily into the shopping areas and Plaza San Martin and it was an easy walk into the Recoleta District and the wonderful restaurants for dinner at night.
Camila was a treasure ensuring we had all we needed at all times.
We all loved the Apartment - it is so beautifully fitted out, so spacious and so comfortable. Hopefully we may have the opportunity to return at some time in the future.
Thank you so much for allowing us the luxury of staying in the larger Apartment and for all you did to mak e our stay such a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Kindest regards BRUCE BUCHANAN

WOW! What a fantastic stay we had at Aileen's condo. We checked in on Christmas Day 05 and had lunch at the Four Seasons Hotel just one block away. For a nice occassion the atmosphere and food in Le Mansion was superb. Camilla, who is so very nice and helpful, greeted us on Monday. A quick review, deposit exchange, and local tips and we were off and running. We actually left Monday for Iquazu Falls, a beautiful and exotic rainforest adventure. If you go, be sure to take part in the optional boat ride at the end of the tour!! We returned to BA on Wednesday and had a late lunch at one of the local restaurants across the street. All the food was delicious. Local food shopping at the Disco, a gym about 15min walk away and lots of shopping made the vacation a pleasure. All four of us would go back and stay at 1560. The location was perfect, clean, and convienent. Our eight day stay was one we will never forget. Aileen and Camilla made our part effortless. Thanks. |

I stayed in this apartment for most of the month of December, and found it to be just about perfect as a launching pad to explore the city of Buenos Aires. The apartment is warm and inviting, with good flow. The owner Aileen's local assistant Camila was unfailingly cool, friendly and helpful. There is always at least one building employee in the lobby, and usually more than one, so you feel quite safe. Across the street is an area called Recova de Posadas, with eight or so restaurants, all of which are quite good and some of which (Piegari for Italian and Plaza Mayor for Spanish food come to mind) are excellent. And the apartment's kitchen is well stocked so you can easily stay in and cook. I really appreciated that Aileen or Camila had taken the time to put together helpful, explanatory notebooks for the guests. One notebook contains the instructions (just in case) for using all of the machines: the washer and dryer, dish washer, phone, etc. Another notebook contains tourist pamphlets. These notebooks were considerate details; they gave me confidence that I was in good hands. I would gladly stay there again. Thx!! |

COMMENTS: What a wonderful place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! We’ve fallen in love with Buenos Aires and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aileen’s lovely apartment, Cerrito 1560, located in Recoleta, one of the most elegant and well-known areas of B.A.
On our first day, we booked the “Friendly” city tour through 4 Seasons Hotel. Our English speaking guide, Juliena Lagache, was very knowledge- able of B.A. history and architecture and took us through the downtown area, Puerto Madero, La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo, etc. The tour was a great introduction to this glorious city.
We especially liked our pasta dinner at Piegaria located at Posadas 1042; pizza at Filo, San Martin 975; buschettas at Liber Resto-Bar, 890 Ave. Del Libertador; and sandwiches made for us at Valenti deli in Patio Bullrich. The buffet at 4 Seasons was “Texas-size” and excellent. Thanks to Aileen’s guest, Martin, we did see the Tango performance at Le Dome.
Visitors should be sure to tour the Theatre Colon, the National Museum of Fine Arts, of course, the cemetery and don’t miss Our Lady of Pilar Basilica and tour of the cloisters… a must. The Design Center is fun to wander through. We ate a good hamburger there at Champs Elysees (on the second floor). We walked to Alvear Palace Hotel and were impressed by its old world charm.
Radio taxis are always available and if you do not speak Spanish, just hand the driver a paper with the address you wish to reach and you will get there in no time! Wish we had them in L.A.
So much to see and do and so little time… two weeks were just not long enough!

The location is unbeatable, accomodations are wonderful, and owner's representative Camila makes coordination a simple breeze. I recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting B.A. Thanks for everything Aileen. A++ property. |

| This is an absolutely beautiful, immaculate apartment which is very well-equipped with cable, modern kitchen and laundry appliances. It is within walking distance of great restaurants, parks and most B.A. sites. There is frequent contact with the friendly helpful in-town rental representative. The cleaning services are excellent and quite accomodating. The doorman is on-duty to receive arriving packages or guests. I would definitely recommend staying here. |

| What wonderful accommodations! Perfectly located within minutes of Patio Bullrich for exquisite shopping and the neighborhood grocery store for luscious Argentine meats, vegetables, breads, and desserts! Camila helped us in so many ways with transportation, touring ideas, and restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the convenience of an ATM machine, wonderful services available at the Four Seasons Hotel(international postage stamps, tour booking, even help with an international phone call!), and fabulous restaurants right across the street! The condo is beautifully decorated with wonderfully comfortable beds. Our teenage daughter appreciated the full cable TV. Don't hesitate to rent this condo...it is the BEST! Luxury and comfort all the way! |

| I stayed at the apartment for 10 days in May 2005. Everything about the apartment, from its location to the decor and the amenities is first rate. It is an easy walk to both the major sites as well as fine shopping, dining and galleries. In addition, there is a steady stream of taxis. Camila, the owner's representative, went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, both upon my arrival and during my stay. When I return to Buenos Aires next year, I'm looking forward to staying in this apartment again. |

| The property is amazing and it centrally located in Recoleta, the most fashionable neighborhood in Buenos Aires which reminds me of Paris. So many things are within walking distance. Why stay across the street at the Four Seasons, when you can spend one-fifth the cost and stay here and spend the rest on leather goods? The owner's representative Camila met me at the apartment upon my arrival from the airport and was most knowledgable and helpful. Camila also arranged my airport transfer. The accomodations were both spacious and luxurious and are treated as a home. I am planning another trip here in about six months and will book this place again. |

This is where the cogniscenti stay. Not only is the apartment modern and lovely, it's in a fabulous location. Taxis stream by constantly and you can get anywhere in BA very quickly.
Camila, the manager, is fluent in English and extremely helpful. She even keeps menus for delivery restaurants and can help you figure out the complicated Argentine phone system.
Stay here, if you can get a reservation. You won't regret it.

| My wife and myself stayed in this apartment for six weeks last August and September. We had a most enjoyable experience. You've often heard the expression "location, location, location". This aparmtnent is in the most desirable area in Buenos Aires, less than a block from the Four Seasons Hotel; across the street from four of the best restaurants in all of Buenos Aires. Beautiful interiors, wonderful doormen, housekeeper, etc. Would go back in a second. |

| We stayed at this apartment for the whole month of October (well, with time out for a trip to other parts of the country) and could not have been more content. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, safe, and above all, truly, located at the best imaginable part of Buenos Aires. We did a lot of walking during these four weeks - it was fun - to downtown's business district, lots of confiterias for afternoon tea, shops and galleries, Recoleta, restaurants, and museums. Amiable building staff, and Camila was always very helpful and knowledgeable. We do hope this place will be available again for our next visit to Bs. As. |

This is such a wonderful apartment that it was hard to leave after only a week. Its ample size and sophisticated decor made it both comfortable and elegant. The owner has made sure that it has everything a guest might want, from entertainment systems and appliances to comfortable beds and many personal touches. We very much enjoyed using the handy Clarin Guide to Buenos Aires which we found among the items in the apartment's library. We expected the Recoleta location to be good, but it was, in fact, ideal. In addition to being close to Recoleta and the Design Center, we could walk to the Retiro, to great shopping in the Microcenter, to numerous places in Barrio Norte and even to the Buquebus terminal. And virtually the whole city is a short taxi ride from here. On that rare night you don't feel like exploring this great city, you can wander across the street for some of the best bife de lomo in town. Any questions we had when in residence were quickly answered by the local property manager. If you are going to be in Buenos Aires, this is the place to stay.

Dear Aileen, We arrived home to Sydney a day or so ago and I just thought that I would get back to you with a bit of feedback about your apartment in Buenos Aires. We enjoyed our stay there very much. In fact, out of all the apartments that we stayed in in South America, we liked yours the best. It was tastefully decorated and being an inveterate renovator myself, I was interested in what (and how) you had done in the apartment. The colour scheme was restful but by no means dull and as the yellow in the living area was the same colour as that in my house in Sydney, I felt quite at home. The artwork was attractive and added to the ambience. We found that the kitchen was very well set up and we appreciated the fact that all the little gadgets one needs were there. When cooking a family meal rather than just a quick snack , it is important to have the right appliances at hand and we weren't disappointed. The bathrooms were stylish and quite easy to keep clean. We ate at several of the restaurants across the road from the apartment and were impressed by the quality of their food. Having them within a stone's throw of the apartment also rated highly on the convenience scale. We all loved the Recoleta area and couldn't resist a spate of shopping, stocking up on shoes, handbags and clothing at very reasonable prices. Before we left I suggested to Camilla that she ought to get some place-mats for the table because we were worried that it would get scratched without them. She was one step ahead of us and said that she had them on her list of things to buy. (We also suggested pot scourers so all debris could be cleaned out of the saucepans and I think she was on to that too.) Camila was terrific.........sensible, helpful and reliable. She arranged our transport back to the airport and all went without a glitch. I would highly recommend your apartment to others. Thanks for the use of it. Many thanks, Janice Gray.
