| We were looking for a nice quite place to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary and this was just perfect! Very comfortable and nice furnishings. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. A very relaxing weekend. Highly recommended! |

We were soooooo comfortable in the condo. There was plenty of room for us and our 3 children, and it had (almost) everything we needed .... I have no idea how to use a convection oven so I didn't even try! Once we parked the car, we didn't move it until we left. It was a nice walk to everywhere we wanted to go, both day and night! It was "really cool" to live in a piece of Savannah's history for a few days. That truly set the tone for learning all about the history of Savannah!

| My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to stay someplace special. This condo fit the bill, and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we knew that great care and effort went into the restoration and decoration. Everything was done in a first class fashion unlike some rentals decorated with "renters" in mind. This one was done to feel like home, and made us feel like we were in a five star hotel! Also, the Tripletts have everything well organized and are easy to deal with. We could not have made a better choice! |

Wanted to pass along our thanks for letting us rent unit #5. The Bird Baldwin House is the perfect place to stay your 1st trip to Savannah (or anytime for that matter). We have fallen in love with Savannah, there are just no words to describe how we feel about the city, it was quite frankly "love at first sight!"!
The BB House is perfectly located and within walking distance to virtually everything. The unit itself is full of character and charm and really gives you a feeling of the way things might have been back in the day. I loved opening the shutters in the a.m. and watching everyone make their way out into the city, my husband enjoyed the back porch in the afternoons watching the same folks making their way back home again. The bed is very comfortable and the Jacuzzi tub is as advertised.
We can totally understand why your family moved to Savannah! A few days is simply not long enough. Many thanks, we are already planning a return trip!

| This was a great place to stay. I was completely unprepared for how awesome the place was. The pictures really do not do justice to the place. Plus, you are in walking distance to anything you could possible want to do in Savannah. The price was much better than many other places. I have already recommended this place to all my friends - I can't wait to come back! |

| March 2009 - My daughters and I spent an enjoyable, relaxing weekend in Savannah using the condo as our base. We were able to easily walk to all attractions in the Historic District, including River Street. We have visited Savannah several times and stayed in hotels until this trip. We won't stay in a hotel again....the condo was everything it was advertised to be and more. |

Liberty Street carries traffic noise but it was not a bother to us. This place and location is full of charm and character. We will be back. |

| Thanksgiving weekend 2008. We could not have been more pleased with the condo. It was in a perfect location - central to everything. About half way between River St and Forsyth park. We walked everywhere we went. The unit is well maintained and had everything we could need. We are so glad that we rented the condo versus staying in a hotel room. It was great to have so much space and a kithen we could cook meals in. We ate dinner one night at The Olde Pink house and it was fabulous. We need more time next time. Thanks for everything and always being so prompt in corresponding with us. |

| 11/18/08 After recently enjoying the sights and sounds of Savannah, the best site was the #6 condo at the 1838 Townhouse. The location is well within walking distance to a long list of historical parks, shopping areas, museums to visit or restaurants to dine at to enjoy a delicious meal. The #6 condo (blue bedroom) is adequately furnished to rest and rejuvenate after walking to River Street, City Market, Forsyth Park or Paula Deen's. For me, the location and character of the 1838 Townhouse was a huge selling point as to why I would recommend future visitors to Savannah consider utilizing this VRBO rental. |

| We've stayed here for 4 days in august. The location is superb.We really liked to stroll the streets after diner and loved the beautiful houses and trees with the Spanish moss. Everything you need for your stay is in the apartment and the grocer is also nearby.It was quiet and safe and our 6 year old daughter had enough space to play. We've enjoyed the porch a lot. The only thing that was missing was a bigger table (for breakfast or dinner outside) and an extra chair. We didn't want to leave! |

Our recent stay in Savannah, at the Bird Baldwin House, was everything that was advertised. The condo is very comfortable with tasteful furnishings and a wonderful atmosphere. The walk to River Street, the marketplace, etc., would be a bit of a stretch if you aren't used to it but for those of us who enjoy walking, it was great to wander thru the lovely squares and see the wonderful old homes or slip into any of the great art galleries, shops and unusual stores along the way to River Street.
Stephanie and Whip are quick to respond to any problem you may have, too. All in all...great!!! |

For us the whole idea of renting an apartment or
condo is to get out of the cocoon hotels create and
feel more like a member of the community we're
visiting. We want more than a room, more than a
house; we want a home. That's just what the
Tripletts offer in their Bird-Baldwin House
condominiums.
We stayed in #6 (the blue bedroom in the pictures)
and it was as comfy as could be. The location made
walking to Bay St., Broughton St., City Market, SCAD
and the Mercer-Williams House a treat rather than
a chore. The veranda is just the spot for morning
coffee or relaxing in the evening with a glass of
wine.
The pictures don't do justice to the decor. The
furnishings are of a high standard and the
comfortable king-size bed was a welcome refuge
after a "hard day" of shopping or sightseeing.
Dealing with the owners was also a breeze. They
answer emails and calls promptly. All their policies
and directions are clear and easy to follow.
If you're looking for a home in Savannah instead of
just a place to stay, you've found it. |

Great vacation, We biked everywhere and never moved our car while in tow. They have an excellent place to park bikes at night. Can't say enough positive things. Don't miss this one! |

| This condo was great! Perfect location for walking around Savannah and Whip is right, you need to walk Savannah to get the full experience. The Condo was very clean and a lot of extras. A few blocks away you can go the visitors center and get all of the information you need about Savannah or even catch a trolly. I wished we had stayed longer to use the huge bath tub, but with so much to do in the city, we just got a good nights rest and went back out for more. We will be back! |

| If you are history nuts like we are, you will love it. Being built in 1838, it has been nicely updated, but still has its historical character. It is located on Liberty Street, so close to walk to places in the historical district. If you are a light sleeper like me, you might want make sure the beautiful plantation shutters are closed before you go to sleep to keep some of the morning traffic noise out during the weekdays. It definitely helped the next morning. The back deck is also nice for morning coffee. The complimentary postcard collection book by Whip is informative and interesting. Although we went in August during the hottest weekend of the year so far, we still enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at the Triplett's condo again...perhaps in cooler temperatures! Stephanie is very prompt and professional in her responses. We definitely recommend this rental. |

in apartments smaller than that! We will be back to visit one day, I just know it. I have alreay given

| We were a bit leary of booking without a contract, but we have absolutely no regrets. The condo is every bit as nice as described, and we walked everywhere. It was so nice to be able to come "home" and put our feet up for a little bit before heading out again. A word to the wise: bring good walking shoes, because Savannah is truly a walking city! The words in Whip's book are so true: "You cannot experience Savannah from a car." And the longer you stay, the more you will like it! I feel confident that we will return, and that we will stay in this condo when we do. |

Our first trip to Savannah was fantastic and we so enjoyed the condo. It is beautifully decorated and has some of the special touches that you only find in an historic home. The location is very convenient to the sites in Savannah. Whip and his charming son picked us up at the airport when the rental car company "lost" our reservation, but a car really isn't necessary unless you want to take a day trip out of the city.
We have already recommended this property to some friends who are planning a trip to Savannah.

Beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need - the jacuzzi is GREAT after a long day of sightseeing.
