We had a great visit in April of 2007. Everything was perfect: The arranged rides from/to the airport were always on time, the apartment itself was great, plenty of room, nicely decorated, great kitchen area, nice bathrooms, etc. The Welcome2France team were all gracious and helpful. The included broadband Internet is fantastic to have. The street is pretty quiet, especially considering how central it is, we could walk to the Louvre, or Les Halles, in minutes. I really appreciate that Welcome2France will accept a credit card for the security deposit, so there is no need to provide and accept back Euros, which is a hassle. I would definitely rent from Welcome2France again! |

| We had a wonderful stay Palais-Louvre 1 apartment, just opposite the Bank of France. The apartment was perfect for our needs as we have a 8 month old baby. The apartment is configured really well with a room upstairs over the lounge - far enough for her not to be disturbed by us and near enough for us to hear her. The only thing we didn't really realise (our fault for not reading properly) was the lack of bath. However, we improvised and Emily got bathed in the generously proportioned kitchen sink, much to her delight and our amusement! The apartment is charmingly decorated and in a great location - just minutes from lots of great restaurants - and was an excellent setting-off point for Paris's many sights. Being on 1st floor, the apartment was easy to get in and out of with a buggy so a good option if you have small people. Service was really good too - Taxi with babyseat was waiting for us at Gare du nord and a representative from Welcome2France (who was charming and whose name I can't recall I'm afraid)at the apartment to show us around. We also used their babysitting service which worked out very well. Welcome2France did everything they promised to do and with great courtesy and efficiency. Very nice company to deal with. Thank you Sophie and co. |

| Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Perfect location, very comfortable home away from home, great service from staff, no complaints whatsoever. If we ever return to Paris we will plan our dates around the availability of this apartment...thats how graet it is. It is within walking distance of the metro, which means you can get anywhere in Paris literally in minutes. Thanks for everything! |

This is a great apartment on the first floor across from the Bank of France. Very safe neighborhood. It is a two bed, two bath and very comfortable. The second bedroom is actually a loft area. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you will need to cook your own meals. There is a large seating area and a dining room area too. We stayed for two weeks and were able to save a ton on eating out. Only did that 3 times. There is a small grocery store around the corner that carried all the basics as well as a bakery with the best bread we found. The location is excellent! A short walk to the Louvre, the Seine, Notre Dame and all the rest that you want to see. Make sure you take the bus tour...very informative and it will give you a sense of where everything is from where you are staying. You'll be in good hands with Sophie and Idda from Welcome2France. We plan to return to Paris next year and will definitely book with them again. By the way, look for Fellini's restaurant in this neighborhood. The best Italian food we have had since we were in Italy. Oui, in Paris...Tres Bon! |

| Only great things to say about the apartment and about Welcome2France. The apartment's location is perfect - centrally located to the museums, Metro stations, and is a gem! My entire family was surprised that I found such a great apartment! Nichole arranged for the airport transfers, welcome basket, cell phone rentals, Bateaux Mouches boat trip, and Illumination Tour -- all very good. Plus, it was a delight getting an American's perspective on Paris. Idda helped us with the apartment, and she was great to work with as well. Everyone was VERY responsive with our questions and needs. The apartment has tons of Paris tour books that we used during our stay; there was always lots of hot water for our showers (there were five adults taking showers every morning); and the apartment was decorated very nicely. When I return to France, I will definitely use Welcome2France to arrange my lodgings. Merci beaucoup! |

We had a glorious stay! Sophie was wonderful to us and Nicole took care of our every concern. The neighborhood is quiet, and the Palais Royale across the street increases the sense of security, while the bakeries, little groceries, and cafes close by make it delightful. We bought week-long passes to the Louvre and awoke each day to the luxury of anticipaing the quick walk to one more tour of the Louvre and to the absorbing questions of which museum or sight would best follow or precede it. We fell in love with Paris, our first trip. We would contact Welcome2France in a heartbeat for our next trip! |

| Our stay at this apartment was not enjoyable at all. We were harassed by a person called Sophie (she did not introduce herself) via the phone about curtains being open and the door to the aprtment open when it should not be. She started calls with "someone has just told me..." - we felt like we were being spied on. They tried to over charge us with bank fees and it was only when Bridget (I think that was her name) an American lady turned up on the last day that an idea of service related behaviour became apparent. She was a delight and saved the day. The phone got cut of at one stage and during the whole time we were on edge wondering when the mysterious Sophie would ring up again at threaten yet more charges etc. I would not recommend this apartment, the location was good but the rude French person who was ringing spoilt it for us. I assume this negative comment will not make it into the guestbook (mysteriously there don't seem to be any) but thanks for the opportunity to comment. |

Homeowner Response:
Good day Madam,
I was disappointed to read your opinions about my rude, French behavior. It was the first time anyone has ever written a negative review about any of the properties owned or managed by Welcome2France. I am also not surprised to hear that Brigitte saved the day Overall, we are a great team at Welcome2France
Spying on you? Our French telephone system is notoriously finicky. We own more than one apartment in the Palais Royal building. It was my workman, in the apartment directly above who mentioned that you had removed one of our costly, custom made curtains and draped it over a rusty fence outside the apartment and the door was left open. As one of our team at Welcome2France, he was concerned and called me. It’s a strange world out there, and Paris is a big city where anything can happen.
Our conversation was also my assurance that no harm had come to you in one of my apartments. My message was not to harass you. At very least, it was a Caution! “Pay Attention! - you are backing yourself into extra charges… As apartment owners, it is our wish to avoid actual damage and subsequently bill you for repair or replacement.
Also, as you were visiting from Australia, I wasn't sure of your level of awareness regarding our unpredictable Paris weather. I am sorry you misinterpreted my concerns.
Sincerely,
Sophie Saint Honore

| This apartment could not be better located!! It's a very short walk to two different metro stops, but it's located on a street that isn't as noisy as the main streets nearby (Rue de Louvre and Rue St. Honore). My husband and I brought our two young girls (5 and 3) to Paris, and the apartment was perfect! Laurent arranged to provide us with a US phone for a very cheap price for the week, so we could keep in touch with home. There are lots of travel books about Paris in the apartment, so if you don't have one or need additional information, there are several in the apartment. Laurent was great and very acessible! |

| We have recently returned from our stay in Paris and are very happy to recommend Welcome2France and, in particular, the Palais Royale 1 apartment. This was our second booking with Welcome2France and Laurent was fantastic to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and he made booking things like Moulin Rouge, Museum and Metro tickets very easy. These were ready when we arrived so we could hit the Louvre straight away. It was also very helpful to have a 'local' to point out the best local restaurants etc! The apartment is very spacious and very comfortable. The location is superb - right in the middle of everything and well serviced by metros lines AND the street is very quiet, a real bonus in this busy city. We found Palais Royale 1 was the perfect base for our stay. Thank you, Laurent for looking after us again! See you next time. Regards, Vicky and Stuart. |

My friends and I had a lovely time at the Louvre - Palais Royal I apartment and would stay here again, and we would recommend the apartment to our friends.
The location of the apartment was excellent. We were close to the Lourve (less than a five minute walk), Les Halles, and Palais Royale. Several metro stations were conveniently located near the apartment (less than a five minute walk).
We felt safe and secure in our apartment, which was nicely furnished, and had all the amenities of home. The apartment was spacious and well-maintained (including the two full modern bathrooms with an American-style shower, sink, and toilet), and located in a quiet neighborhood.
We were near several eating establishments, a grocery store, two smaller grocery “stands” that sold mostly staples (milk, butter, fruit, vegetables, and water), and a couple of patisseries. Some of the eating establishments, such as Au Pied du Couchon, were highly recommended by popular and well know guide books. There was a wonderful patisserie around the corner, which became our favorite place for baguettes, pastries, and chocolate chip cookies (my all time favorite sweet). There were nice local shops to explore throughout the area.
Although hesitant about renting an apartment over the internet, Laurent addressed (by e-mail or phone) all of my questions and concerns. My friends and I are planning another trip to Paris in the future are looking forward to doing business with Laurent and Welcome 2 France. |

My wife, daughter, sister-in-law, and myself had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for the week of April 1, 2006. The apartment is exactly as advertised. Laurent was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning of the process through our stay.
Laurent arranged our ride from and to the airport. He even arranged a private tour of the Loire Valley at a very competitive rate. He met us on the Saturday and went over the apartment completely. He offered to arrange an array of tours and even offered to get us metro passes.
The apartment is in a great location. As stated by other reviewers, it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the Lourve, Les Halles, Palais Royale. Maybe a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Opera. We walked from Sacre Crouer back to the apartment. This was a longer walk but doable. In fact we only used the metro to go to Versailles. We did use the hop-on, hop-off busses to visit other sites.
Again, we loved the apartment and would have no reservation in recommending it to anyone. Please do not hesitate to email or call me if you have any questions about this review. |

| This apartment was all we hoped for and more. Laurent was wonderful & very accomodating. The apartment stayed cool despite the Paris heat. The apartment was a short 2 blocks to the Louvre and we made friends with the local cafe, bakery and market owners all within the block surrounding the apartment. My family & I would definitely stay here again! |

| Merci beaucoup, Sophie and Laurent, for providing us with everything we needed to make our stay in Paris truly memorable. There are not enough superlatives to describe the charming Palais Royal 1 apartment and all the gracious help you provided. The location was quiet, yet convenient to all the major sites in the city. And it was especially wonderful to experience life in a real neighborhood with so many interesting boutiques and excellent restaurants - especially Histoire Gourmand right on the corner. The weeks we spent at the apartment will always be fondly remembered. |

| The apartment Le Palais Royal 1 could not be more perfect. The location is ideal - two blocks from the Louvre and also in a quiet neighborhood with local shops and restaurants near by. The two bedroom, two bath arrangement was ideal for parents travelling with two young adult children. Sophie and Laurent were very gracious and most helpful. Staying in such wonderful accomodations just made the trip that much more enjoyable and special. |

It is my first time to Paris. Having heard from so many people about the limited space in hotels and apartments as well as their expensive rates. With the mindset of a small bedroom, very tiny bath room, I was not very excited about going to Paris. Then... My first step into the apartment, my expectations about the tiny space has been washed off my mind within a matter of second. It is so nice and beautiful. I have no other word but PERFECT. I will make sure that in all my future trips to Paris, it is going to be Welcome2France Le Palais - Royal 1. I really enjoyed and am sure that you all will. |

My Parents always dreamed to go to Paris and never had a chance.. My husband and I surprised them with a week stay at le Petits Champs, just this past August 23, 2003. For the four of us, the duplex was home for 7 unforgettable days in Paris. A bright, charming and comfortable "nest" in the heart of Paris that allowed us to relax, enojying a unique life style that only true Parisians can experience, being born there. Also the team at welcom2France was incredibly helpful, supporting us in planning our day-to-day visits. Le Petits Chanps is a must when in Paris. We hope to be back very soon. Enza |

We spent a wonderful week in June at this apartment. Laurent was extremely helpful and helped us with all of our questions. We found the apartment to be in the perfect location just a few minutes walk to the Louvre and metro. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the apartment has real unique character and was just perfect for us and our 3 daughters. We will definitely be returning to Paris and hopefully to stay in the property. Thanks to Sophie and Laurent for a wonderful holiday. Keith & Debbie Haden |

Four of us (two couples) recently returned from a week in the apartment on les Petite Champs. We found everything convenient, wonderful, clean and comfortable. The apartment is a short couple blocks from the Louvre and all convenient metro lines. It is a simple one flight up with grand bright windows onto the street. We give an unqualified positive recommendation.
The true value of Welcome2France however is Laurent. Every detail was attended to by him from the moment we left home until our return. He was a wonderfully pleasant and competent man who clearly loved his home town, Paris. He made our trip even more grand.
One note: We had some fear of traveling to Paris during troubled world times and found our fears completely unfounded. Everywhere we went we were welcomed and safe. Do not miss this chance due to irrational fears. I have never felt as safe in a large city as I did in Paris and in the great neighborhood of the apartment. |

Three of us stayed in this apartment with great ease. The bedroom areas, each with its own bath, are spacious with good sized beds. The kitchen is generous, and everything works well! The stove is a plus for those who care to cook on their own.
From the start of the rental process to the goodbyes at the airport, Sophie and Laurent made this vacation wonderful. Sohie contacted us by phone and e-mail; Laurent was available with a wealth of information the minute we landed. It is a valuable plus to have Laurent in the city to advise the rentors when needed.
We used the small businesses in the neighborhood and found all the shopkeepers to be helpful. It adds a good spirit to stay in a neighborhood and feel comfortable there.
I recommend the apartment and would be willing to answer questions about our stay.

The villa apartment in Cannes was the perfect spot for my wife and myself when we visited Italy, South of France and Portugal last May. It was located centrally for all we wanted to see around the Cote D'Azur. Only a short drive to the Nice Airport via the motorway. The villa is situated in a lovely gated residential park in the best area of Cannes. It was very private and quiet. We enjoyed having a large dining room and kitchen and fun going in the morning to the Forville Market for beautiful fresh vegetables and other goodies. The apartment was more than spacious for 2 people and we felt we could easily of had 3 more people staying with us. It was to cold to use the private pool but we enjoyed looking out the french living room doors toward the large pool area. Sophie the owner was very helpful to us and showed us special places in Cannes that we would not of found on our own. We have recommended this villa apartment to many of our friends when they are going to the South of France.

We rented this apartment in October 2002 for a one week Paris visit. After I made arrangements to rent this apartment I was contacted via email by Laurent, an agent who represents the owner. He arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, and he purchased museum and Metro passes for us. He met us at the apartment and got us off to a good start.
We were 2 adults, and 2 teenage girls. The apartment was large and we were never cramped for space. There is the main floor with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living-dining room. Upstairs is a loft area with bed, bath and desk with internet access. The location was ideal. Near the Louvre, and only a 5 minute walk to the Metro- which was so easy and convenient for our travels through the city. Around the corner was a small grocery and a bakery. We ate about half of our meals in the apartment. The full kitchen made it easy. My only caveat is regarding the cable modem for internet access. Make sure you have good anti-virus software installed on your laptop. Mine detected and caught a virus within minutes of my first use. No big deal- just be aware.
Overall I must say that the apartment was fantastic. Great location, clean, spacious, comfortable and a wonderful agent, Laurent, who was so helpful and gracious. I would not hesitate to rent this apartment again. |

I stayed in this apartment in the middle of September and can not describe how thrilled I was!
It truly is a "charming" place; the furnishings, the location, and all of the special touches.
Especially important was the location...whenever I left the apartment to tour the city, I always had a great sense of home and safety once back in the area of the apartment. I was also able to visit the Louvre EVERY DAY because of the close proximity. Additionally, one of my favorite museums, the Musee d'Orsay, is within walking distance! Not only were the accommodations absolutely fabulous, but the owner of the apartment was so extremely helpful with all aspects of the trip...including arranging for the perfect "concierge" who was always only a phone call away! I can honestly say, without the apartment and accommodations, the vacation would have been less than perfect |
