Thanks for the very pleasant and well-stocked accommodations. We especially appreciated all the useful information in the welcome book. We love the neighborhood and the convenience of nearby buses and metro stops. And it was a pleasure to return every night to this warm and welcoming apartment.

PS. That was a lovely bottle of wine in the welcome basket. Merci bien!

What a delightful vacation! Not one day passed that we didn't feel welcomed by the French people, and our "home" Cozy Carpeaux!

We spent some time in Nice, really got a "kick" our of the flesh sun bathers.

All the extras provided, internet, international telephone, book of useful information, DVDs, books,m decor of Cozy Carpeaux set this apartment at a level others have not achieved.

Thank you, Joseph & Yetunde for your kind special hospitality.

Thank you so much for this wonderful apartment. After many long hours sightseeing we were able to come back here and relax. We cooked some delicious meals and were able to make sandwhiches for the day. The cupboards were well stocked and the dishes immaculate. We really appreciated the Macintosh computer for email and news, Also, all the literature supplied was very nice. You really cater to English speakers and every detail did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. What a rare find! We will be sure to use your services again and let all our friends know too.

Merci

We loved our time here at Cozy Carpeaux. The location is excellent and we loved the neighborhood. We had excellent meals each night especially L'Etrier (01 42 29 14 01) which is a few blocks away. 154 rue Lamarck. Virginie and Vincent were such lovely hosts.

There was a heat wave beginning the day we got here and Joseph arrived with fans to cool us off. It really made a difference - thanks Joseph!

My feet and pocketbook got a workout and they tell me its time to move on. We are heading to Southwest France to a little town named Leran (we hope to see the Tour de France bike race fly by) but we will never forget our time in Paris at Cozy Carpeaux. Formidable!

Dear Yetunde and Joseph,

You have definitely given us a Paris home this week. Very thoughtful of you to start us off with things that made our stay comfortable. My son loved the soft bed and cozy sofa. The WIFI connection was perfect for the three of us.
Montmartre is one of the loveliest spots in the world. It is our second visit and we hope to come back for more. We are great fans of Lui L'Insolent, wonderful food and very friendly service. We had many lovely meals at home and also slept in most day in this cozy haven.

Thanks very much.

Dear Yetunde and Joseph, we had a great time in Paris. The apartment is beautiful and a perfect location. We all enjoyed our stay. Your welcome basket and orientation manual started our vacation on the right track and made us feel welcome. Some of our best moments were spent here at the apartment at the end of long sightseeing days just relaxing and having wine and cheese. We will miss Cozy Carpeaux, but we will have memories that will put smiles on our faces and hopeful thoughts to return in the future.

Dear Yetunde and Joseph,

We had a wonderful time in our cozy little apartment. I loved getting pasteries and cheese on rue Damremont. We had a wonderful dinner at Le procope and appreciated your Paris restaurant suggestions.
Our days started at noon and ended after midnight. Your address page with map was a helpful assist to taxi drivers late at night.
Eric's wine and cheese class was a perfect beginning to our week. We also loved his basket of French goodies and were very pleased we had ordered it.
Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Paris. All the best to you.

The apartment was a bit small but was in a great location and had everything you needed to have a great time in Paris.
The 95 bus was very handy, took us to half the destinations you wanted to see in Paris. Try to use it as a much as you can cause I found that the metro system is much harder to use.

Thank you for the wonderful place excellent bed, nice couch and kitchen, good TV and computer, and a very nice neighborhood. The shower compartment is a little small. We were glad we weren't any larger. Your book of notes was very helpful. We recommend the restaurants at Place de Clichy and the food markets on ST Ouen. Guy Moquet metro station is definitely much handier than Lamarck. And of course it was Paris - excellent art, excellent food, excellent ambiance.

Thanks.

PS The old movies (12 angry men, Death Rider a Horse, The Bride Wore Black) were perfect for getting over jet lag.

PPS: We left our unused metro tickets for whoever wants them.

Russ and I stayed one month at 3 rue Carpeaux and enjoyed taking in all the sights, sounds and flavors of Paris. The apartment is well fitted out, the bed comfortable and the internet and phone extremely handy!
The creperie nearby is not hygenic although the guy is very friendly. Corner bar, rude owners. L'Etrier down rue Larmark was a quiet place with original dishes at a fiar price-recommended. Thanks Yetunde and Joseph for your professional and friendly service.

Great weather! Better than spending all the winter in Tasmania.
So many things to see and do in Paris, we needed another week. One wasn't enough.
Also, great little unit. The beds are comfortable after a 14 hours outing all over Paris. Should've bought a GPS!
Thanks Joseph for the helpful folder and the use of the amenities, they were welcomed.
Nice to see Paris hasn't changed much since my last visit in 1971, still sparkles like a diamond under the lights of the city!

Had a fantastic short break in Paris, with Cozy Carpeaux being the icing on the cake.
Caught the end of the "Le Tour" on our first full day, une grande spectacle!
Visited most of the main sites( Louvre, etc.) and spent most nights on the La Butte, we particularly liked Zebra a Montmartre.
The map and walk guides were really useful...as we did get a little lost on several occassions.
We would definitely visit Paris and use "Feels Like Home in Paris" again.

Our family of 4 stayed in the Cozy Carpeaux in May of 2008. We loved our home in Paris. We were greeted on arrival and provided a booklet of local information. The apartment was lovely. Photos were accurate. It was very quiet and clean. Close to metro and bus as well as shopping and sights. When we felt like hanging out there were DVD's, books and a computer with internet to choose from. As a family we found it so convenient to be able to prepare our own food and do our laundry. Deposit was returned promptly. This was our first time using a vacation rental service and I cannot imagine not having an apartment. We would definitely book with this company again I echo the sentiments of others posted here.

Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying here again the next time we come back. The welcome booklets and maps were very helpful, although we suggest including good places for food( home delivery).
Thanks for helping us have an excellent time in Paris! We look forward to seeing you again!

We love Paris! Thank you for the home away from home. WE rented 3 different apartments on our holiday, different cities, this was the best!!!
We loved getting to know our neighborhood. We did check out " Le Relais Garcon" had salad with frites, yum!!! So convenient to get around and to the market.
Never did try crepes from the fellow next door, he kept different hours each day it seemed.
This was a pretty sweet town and an awesome place. I'm so coming back to Paris and I want to come back to this place.

We've had a very pleasant short break staying in this comfortable and well equipped flat. Everything( shops, bakery, metro stations) is very convenient, once you get your bearings. The best way, we found, to see Paris is to walk, but failing that, take the london style double decker bus, quite pricey, but you will see all the main sights. Another highlight was the Eiffel Tower, which was well worth the queue! Will definitely return- especially with the new Eurostar service, 2 hours 15 minutes from London- Formidable!

Yetunde,

We can't thank you enough for all your help in making things so easy for us in Paris. The apartment is a jewel, everything we could possibly need, all wrapped up in one "cozy" package. Your complete guide was a tremendous help and answered nearly all our questions. WE loved the area and the easy access to resataurants, shops and transportation. We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary while here and it will always be one of our most treasured.
Also, we highly recommend the " Au Pied du Sacre Coeur" restaurant at Square Caulaincourt for a great "walk to" lunch or dinner. They were very "English" friendly and outstanding food at a fair price( not cheap though).

Thanks again!

This was our first visit to Paris in nearly 30 years! It has changed a bit, but our goal was to visit museums, both old and new, so the changeable weather( hail on wednesday, hot sun on Sunday) was not a problem.
The apartment was a quiet oasis in the city, and a welcome relief from the crowded metro and museums. I was very impressed by the detail and very helpful information provided by Yetunde, and my artistic wife was very complentary about the decoration and ambience of the apartment. The location was ideal, with plenty of local shops to buy food from and easy access to the city sights. The 95 bus was just the job for visiting the Louvre.
We will certainly recommend Cozy Carpeaux to our friends and family and may return ourselves some time.

Lovely apartment in a very convenient location.

Thanks to BA and T5 we never got to meet you Yetunde - but maybe next time!

As we have been to Paris on many occasions we have done all the "touristy" bits so this time we took time to discover less well known area such as Canal St Martin and rediscovered the bistro near the Louvre where we had our first ever meal in Paris many years ago - its changed of course but the welcome was the same. A truly romantic few days to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. Thanks again for the Champagne! x

This was a great place to retreat to after long days of sight seeing and walking the streets of Paris. We became fond of metro #13 (lt. blue!) & Guy Moquet as 'heading home!

Favorites were the Louvre & Versaille and dinner cruise ont he Seine river. But most special was my 50th birthday on Bastille Day! With the parade and shopping on Champs Elysees (had cafe sidewalk seats at Cafe di Roma to watch the military 'parade) and the concert in the park (du Champ) followed by fireworks at the Eiffel Tower (we found a spot right in the middle of the park between the two!). Spectacular!

Montmartre & Sacre Coeur area were special for our 1st & last nights in Paris.

Our meals consisted mainly of baguette sandwich picnics in parks. The boulangerie down the street was perfect for breakfast.

Blessing to you Yetunde- come to Colorado, USA sometime!

We had a wonderful first visit to Paris! Thank you Yetunde for the helpful advice & being so friendly on our first day.

The boulangerie you recommended had the best cakes in all of Paris!

We used the No 95 bus most days - very handy.

Found some lovely paintings (with reasonable prices) at a small gallery/restaurant called Le Temps des Cerises at 108 rue Lepic - The lady was lovely. Also loved the Batobus - a hop on hop off boat - catch the 95 bus to the Louvre and then get the Batobus on the Seine just behind the Louvre.

With our kindest regards & thanks

First of all, it was a pity we didn't get to meet you, Yetunde : (. Next time we're in Paris, we'll definitely get in touch with you again. We absolutely loved Cozy Carpeaux because it felt so homely and it was stylishly decorated. You've done a great job! And thank you so much for the bottle of wine. And Chloé thanks you for providing her with a comfy travel cot!

We loved being in Montmartre and the streets approaching Sacre Coeur are particularly pleasant. (The area reminded us of London's Notting Hill). We too recommend the baguettes/croissants from the Boulangerie on Place J. Froment. For shops, we preferred Boulevard des Capucines to the overcrowded Champs Elysees. Next door neighbours were very sweet. Mahjoub even brought round 2 dishes of dinner on our last night!

A lovely apartment and a great area to stay in, we ended up spending all four evenings in Montmartre. TIPS:

Go to the "Amelie" cafe at the bottom of rue Lepic (on the right), The food - especially the moulles - is very nice, and between 7pm and 9pm, beer and cocktails are €3.50!

Nip into the garden of the Rodin, it's only a euro and there's a smaller queue but still plenty to see (including The Thinker).

Last, go the Louvre, it's fascinating!

Paris is amazing!
We loved the apartment & found it so easy to get about.

Tips - Metro Guy Moquet is really convenient, & the shops & patisserie on the same road are excellent.

St Paul is a good ares to explore & don't miss the

Maybe there are some advantages to global warming. Furnished a splendid long week in Paris. Try the Domaines des Caves at Damremont & Marcadet on the west side. The selection is good, the prices are exceptional & the proprietaire est "très sympa"
A la Pompette on Lepic is a good restaurant but pricey for what you get - which among other things is tour buses.

We enjoyed the quartier but perhaps the best thing around is the 95 bus.

We have had a lovely week exploring the majority of arrondissements - the "plan de Paris" booklet most useful. Walks round Montmartre interesting. A very convenient base from which to explore Paris - we have done lots of walking but also used the metro - easy to use and Guy Moquet a very convenient station. Apartment very clean & all we needed. Thank you Yetunde for your welcome & useful info - wine slipped down very easily!

Dear Yetunde, we have a wonderful week in Paris (Spring).

The apartment has been a good and central base for our holiday. We have seen Eurodisney, Eiffel, Louvre, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and a lot more.

Good weather, nice people, lots of food (all kind), and lots of good memories.

Hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for your kindness and good English. Lots of greathing from the Danish family.

So much to see, must return soon. the apartment was excellent, well equipped. The No 95 bus is great for getting around and Flunch is good for inexpensive food & drink. Will definitely return and spread the word to family & friends. Thank you very much for your help and advice.

Found the apartment very convenient - close to shops on St Ouen Ave, Guy Moquet metro station, #95 bus stop on Place Jacques Froment. had a great time in Paris and enoyed everything the city has to offer. Be careful of pick pockets though- in metros especially. Caught a guy with his hands in my pant pockets, and alerted another lady whose purse had already been opened. Otherwise a very positive experience.

Had a lovely stay at Cozy Carpeaux - The weather really helps. Is it always so comfortable Oct/Nov? Really appreciate the thoughtful details that comes with the apartment. A personal guide from a "local" is always helpful.
Thanks Alot!

For future reference:
Don't use the RER from CG if there's more than one piece of luggage, too many stairs!
Take the Roissy bus, which ends at l'Opéra - (American Express Office) and take the #95 bus which is right around the corner, on Ave de l'Opéra to bus stop at Place Jacques Froment - almost door-to-door

SNCF at Gare St Lazare to Vernin - one hour train ride
(Saturday) 8:39 AM; 12:04 PM; 1:45 PM; 2:23 PM.
2nd stop from Paris, then take a 10 min bus ride to Giverny.

Loved the Cozy Carpeaux. It was a quick Metro ride to central Paris but far enough out of the city to have the peace and quick necessary after a long day of sightseeing. Close to Montmarte (a short walk) and very close to good restaurants, bakeries, etc. Would definitely stay again.

The flat is very close to lots of yummy food stores like a cheese shop, sweets shops and fruit shops. I like your movie selection like my fair lady and an American in Paris. So does my sister. I love Paris. Its a great place

Thanks Yetunde --everything was perfect. Close to metro, little shops, loved the weekend markets at Guy Moquet? & up the hill near the other metro stop. Thanks for the French lesson -- it helped. Paris -- so much to see, so much to eat, so little time.

Well thanks for making our stay in Paris a most memorable one. We had an excellent time and Paris has now moved into our top 5 Cities in the world!!
The apartment was excellent, all the facilities and we especially appreciated the wine and the little things like coffe, milk and juice which were there on our arrival. The location is fantastic and makes seeing Paris a fun adventure. The metro system gets a huge thumbs up from us, as does bus route 95.
Thanks so much for your personal touch and for making our stay great.

Dear Yetunde,
We really enjoyed the comfortable accommodations at Cozy Carpeaux. The apartment was furnished to provide a relaxing stay. We loved the amenities: comfortable bed, morning coffee, and an evening watching the "An American in Paris" on DVD. The area had convenient shops, and we found bus 95 provided easy access to all the wonderful sights of Paris. We hope to revisit soon. Thank you for helping us settle in.

Bonjour Yetunde
We had a wonderful time here. The apartment is in a great location, central to all that we needed. You were extremely helpful and informative of the area around PAris which really made a difference when visiting the surrounding area. We especially enjoyed and used the book which gave information on Montmartre - we ventured out on Tour 1 & 2 and found it quite interesting. If we ever return to Paris you will definitely be the person we contact. You have most definitely made our stay a home away from home. Thanks ever so much.

Dear Barbara & Yetunde

The apartment & montmartre have been très magnifique. So nice to start the day with our French breakfast & end it with a bottle of chilled Rosé. The apartment is so well equipped & we love bud #95 - it has taken us almost everywhere.

We will certainly tell our friends about #3 rue Carpeaux

To Barbara and Yetunde

I like staying at the apartment. It is comfortable and safe. The neighborhood is very Parisian and close to any and all parts of Paris.
Paris is awesome! It is beautiful, old, and clean. The people are friendly and helpful, the food and wine are excellent, and all of the museums and sites are très magnifique. My feet hurt.
Thank you Yetunde for your friendly and generous assistance. I won't forget the chicken soup.

Barbara,
Thanks for the note about the deposit. I have meant
to write to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed
your apartment. It was wonderful: the location, the
space and the fact we were living with the French.

Yetunde was wonderful as well. She is very friendly,
helpful and accomodating, as you may know. She made us
feel very at home and even called a day or two after
the marathon to see how it had been.

Being back in Paris was even more special than I had
realized it would be. It had been several years since
I had been there and I had forgotten some of its
charm, I confess. The marathon was great; running
with 35,000 others is quite as experience, as you
know. I am ready to run another.

Yetunde mentioned you were going to Paris this month.
Have a wonderful trip.

Thanks again.

Merci beaucoup, Yetunde. We have had a wonderfult although too brief sejour à Montmartre. You have been fantaftic to deal with--impressive from even before we arrived regarding the extra effort you made to find out about parking. (We found a spot on the street for a whole weekend!)

Your attention to detail has been magnifique. We love Montmartre.

Merci

We have had a truly memorable time in Paris and it has been wonderful having an apartment where we can enjoy a "French" breakfast and an "apertif" before dinner. Rue Carpeaux has been a great location. Close to the Metro and only 15-20 minutes to almost anywhere! Thank you Yetunde for your personal attention and enthusiasm - you helped to make our stay more comfortable and watching Nemo last night was fun. Even the weather has cooperated. We'll definitely visit again!

à bientôt,
