| What a great home and location for a celebration of retirement and 45 years of marriage with our "kids" and grandboys! The Chalet is perfect for our three families with spaces for gathering and "retreating" both inside and out. And it is better equipped/furnished than any home or condo we have stayed at. this pass february my family and I had one of the best vacations ever. Lisa and Rich made our stay there WONDERFUL. You just feel the hospitality when your there.

That was the first thing I said upon entering your beautiful home.
Lisa and Rich, I am so glad my sister find you and your home. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place for my family and I to spend my 40th birthday weekend. It was so warm and cozy (every room) and you supply us with lots of fun and games and suggestions and you leave us with nothing to worry about, you thought of everything.
My family and I all loved it and I am sure you will be hearing from some of them but for me personally, the extra step you took to make sure I had a birthday banner and lots of noise makers for when my big 40 arrived was very, very thoughtful.
I shall recommend and absolutely return to your lovely home.

Dear Lisa,
A little hesitation renting on line and site unseen but from the moment I opened your door I was pleasantly surprised and relieved. Your home was everything and more than I anticipated..You and rich really do put so much into this home to make anyone feel right at home without the stress..The pictures do not do the home justice as you already know..The house is enormeous inside and room for many..The three seperate living rooms with fireplaces are a treasure..Of course i wish i had the secluded masterbedroom over the rec room..Pool table was great,level and plenty of room to play..
I think the most exciting part for my kids was feeding those deer by hand right off the deck..Thanks for all you both do to make this home everyone else's..Hope to return as soon as we can!!!

| I can't even begin to describe what a wonderful time we had in this beautiful home. I thought the Poconos would be fun, relaxing, but maybe a little boring - boy was i wrong!!! We spent 10 gorgeous days in the house and loved every second of it. Even on rainy days, there were plenty of things to do in the house. Between the cable tv's, pool table, air hockey, games, video games, and Karaoke, we were never bored. Our 2 dogs had a blast too. They got to see deer for the first time (even if the deer didn't want to be friends, i think they liked it), and had more than enough room to get away from one another. The beach and lake were beutiful, and I highly recommend trying the white water rafting! I can't say enough good things about the house and surrounding area, but Lisa definitely has another family to add to her annual renters list. This place is PERFECT for families of all sizes and Lisa and her family are a true pleasure to work with. If you would like more info, please feel free to e-mail me. |

Just wanted to say that we really had a great time at your home.
You thought of everything and we are so grateful. My husband, Andrew, is a
general manager of a hotel, and so, as you can imagine, we are very fortunate
and accustomed to top-notch accomodations. You provided a fine sense of hospitality.
We loved the community and so did the kids. We had four adults and four
children under 5 and managed to find room to escape - needed at times.
The lake is warm and gorgeous.
Activities were plentiful and we managed to do a lot - two favorites were the
Poconos 500/NASCAR race and Wayne County Fair.
Attaching pics of the kids on your swing, at the fire, and feeding the deer.
They really enjoyed the swingset too (under separate email). We also had
a campfire and roasted marshmallows.

Although the weather over the Martin Luther King Holiday this year was better for waterskiing than snow skiing, we had a wonderful relaxing weekend at your lovely home. We arrived on Friday evening in total darkness, only to turn on the lights inside and find oursleves in a completely and tastefully appointed "home." As we went from room to room we knew that we had made a great choice - the fireplaces were quickly turned on as each couple sought out their favorite bedroom. Unlike some rentals that offer one or two comfortable bedrooms, and then other tiny or uncomfortable "lesser" bedrooms -- none of us felt that we had to "accept" a lesser, smaller room. The outside decks were great and we of course enjoyed feeding the deer several times a day from the back porch. Last, the Kitchen was fantastic. We cooked several meals and not once was I unable to find whatever I needed tucked away in one of the many cabinets and drawers - I did not need to bring anything with me from home, yet we cooked real home cooked meals sevral times. We had a great time!!! Thanks so much for all of your help and for having a wonderful home away from home.

Thank you for a great, relaxing week at Locus Lake Village. We were truly overwhelmed by the size of the cabin, being there were just four adults. It was great to have private suites at each end of the cabin. Needless to say "Rack 'Em" was the quote for each night and we have all become pool sharks! It was quite a treat to wake and watch the two baby fawns waking up from the back hill each morning. Sorry, we had nothing to find the daily deer, they seemed to be looking for a handout and come very close. Would recommend anyone taking the day trip to Jim Thorpe, we actually did this twice and spoiled ourselves at the Rainbow Cafe ice cream shoppe. It is great to have such a wonderful, well stocked, need nothing, place to get away from it all!! To anyone who is looking for a place, look no further!! Thank you again for the great hospitality! |

What an absolutely wonderful house you have! We had a great ski weekend and the house was way beyond our expectations. The house was very large, meticulously clean and beautifully decorated. It was amazingly well equipped for children (high chairs, kids dishes, a Pack and Play, and loads of activities for all ages). The lay out of the house is well designed to share with another family/families. The well equipped kitchen, the 2 refrigerators, and the attention to detail throughout the house made it a very comfortable and relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! |

Oh, where to begin on how much fun we had over the weekend! Your house is beautiful and the accommodations were unbelievable. There was not a detail missed by you all the way down to the way you had things labeled! Fabulous! We fed the deer every day we were there, we could not believe how friendly they were. We were on the move most of the time ( despite the cold -7 when we woke on Friday) going here and there......dinner at the Edelweiss, shopping at the outlets ........ we could have used a few more days! We are already discussing next year and maybe a summer excursion! The hospitality basket when we arrived was just awesome! Thank you so much for making our vacation extraordinary! | Four families thoroughly enjoyed the Poconos ski weekend we spend in a fantastic house that manages to be both cozy and roomy and offers much more than advertised. Unexpected extras include a resource guide assembled by the owners with brochures for Poconos attractions, local restaurant menus, and much more; discount coupons for local ski areas; a sumptuous goodie basket that could have sustained us over our three-day weekend; and driving directions customized by the owners for families arriving from three different directions. Furniture and furnishings are of uniform high quality, the thoughtful details ranging from luxury bedsheets and robes to gold filters on both coffeemakers (a personal obsession) to an outstanding collection of video movies. The kids loved the full-sized pool table and hand-feedable deer; adults loved having separate dining areas for adults and kids. We shall return. |

| This house was wonderful! The online picture from the front is very deceiving - house is VERY BIG on the inside with a great, open floorplan. | We found PARADISE IN THE POCONOS! This beautifully appointed, spacious home has many touches of elegance yet has a definite cozy feeling. Our biggest dilemma was which of the sitting areas to relax in -- the wonderful, warm family room; the bright, cheerful sun room or the fun rec room, each with its own fireplace. There is nothing you could possibly need that is not in the fully-equipped kitchen. The dining areas are just charming. All of the bedrooms and baths are beautifully decorated. It was really difficult to leave this peaceful haven but we take comfort in hoping that we will be returning often. Overall rating: PAR EXCELLENCE!! |

| What a fabulous vacation rental!! Our family (all 7 of us) were completely at home, this house is so comfy and inviting we did not want to leave. Friends arrived midweek (adding 4 more to the mix) yet we were still comfortable and had lots of room for everyone. The kitchen is outfitted top to bottom, we found everything we needed. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone had fun here. The lake is a short walk away, with fishing and swimming and a great playground for the kids. Our children (5-14) had a great time hand feeding the deer. We do plan on returning because this was one of our family's favorite vacations so far.
