My children and I stayed at Rock
Creek retreat to celebrate my grandbaby's 2nd birthday and it was perfect. The river is both shallow enough to enjoy wading and has areas that are good swimming holes, too. The cabin is comfortable and affords several nice venues in which to play cards and games. We set up ladder-ball on the lawn and had hours of fun there, too. | We loved having our church group - Acteens retreat at Rock Creek Retreat. It was so peaceful there. We enjoyed the river, being outdoors, sitting on the porch and the house was perfect. The kitchen is so well supplied that you don't need to bring anything from home. Thanks for helping make our retreat time so enjoyable. We definitely would recommend Rock Creek Retreat for a peaceful place to get away to and we plan to return. |

I loved this lovely mountain retreat! I had planned to go into Asheville and Black Mountain at least once but once I got to the house, I never left! I could have sat in that porch swing forever.
My Dad, sister, and son all came up at various times, and we had the best family time reading, playing in the river, eating meals on the porch, and just gabbing! A wonderful retreat from the busyness of life! |

| We just returned from the most relaxing vacation we ever had. For the first time I wasn't concerned about getting home to my own bed. Each evening we fell asleep listening to the water in Rock Creek and awoke each morning to the sound of the water in Rock Creek and the birds near by. A truly relaxing and rejuvinating week. I look forward to coming back!!. Thank you. |

| Just wanted to drop a quick note and share how much we enjoyed our stay at the Retreat. The setting in the hillside, the calming sound of the river and the excellent accommodations make it a great getaway destination. We enjoyed walking the quaint streets of Black Mountain as well. We LOVED it and hope to get back soon. |

| My brother and sisters from Atlanta, Savannah, and Greenville, SC met at Rock Creek Retreat for a family reunion in late August. It was hot in Atlanta but was nice and comfortable on the river at the Rock Creek Retreat. The accomodations were outstanding. All the modern conveniences were present if you wanted them, or you could just "get away" as much as you wanted to. Whether you wanted to hike through the woods, swing or rock on the front porch, or wade in the river, it was a very enjoyable weekend. Thanks! |

| Retreat is the perfect word for Rock Creek! The surrounds are peaceful and enveloping, like being in our own world without the traffic and call of town life. We enjoyed watching the river rise and fall with the rain, the Great Blue Heron searching for a meal, the songs of the mountain birds early in the morning, and so much more. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, and the house did not leave us wanting for anything. We also found Black Mountain charming and much calmer than some of the larger towns. Thank you so much for providing the perfect getaway. |

| Our family gathered from St. Louis, San Diego, and Southern Illinois to enjoy your wonderful retreat home. We really started to call it "home". Everything was in good order and ready when we arrived, so we were free to wade, wander, fish, cook out, swing, rock, and read. Rock Creek was just what we wanted to bring our family together for a week of fun and good memories. Thank you for the comfort and nicely decorated surroundings. |

| The owners of Rock Creek overlooked nothing in anticipation of guests' needs. So thoughtfully decorated and appointed for families of all ages. The setting is one of the most peaceful we've ever been in. The house is very warm and cozy. We'll be back! |

| Our stay was wonderful - one of the most peaceful, restful trips we have ever had. The house is very, very well done, and decorated so nicely. The beds are comfortable, and with three bedrooms and two baths, there is plenty of room. The river is so peaceful, and we loved being away from everyone, and no neighbors. We will go again soon, and we drove two days to get there, so that says a lot. |

We just returned from a very relaxing weekend getaway at Rock Creek Retreat. The cabin looks just like the beautiful pictures that are posted on their website. The cabin provides everything you will need for your stay. The view is breathtaking and the cabin is so charming. We will definitely be returning. |

This is truly nature's stress reliever. The water falling over the rocks and the cool breezes through the trees at the end of summer create a tranquility that is in stark contrast to the intensity of city life. What a refreshing change!

This is the perfect place for tranquility. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the steady rhythm of the creek as it meandered along its path and listening to the chirping birds in the mornings and watching the fireflies dot the landscape with their tiny flashlights in the evenings -- seeing the hummingbirds flit about among the flowers, and having the butterflies dart around the porch.
So peaceful, so special. Thank you!
