We stayed here Oct 24 to Oct 31 2009.
This is a truly an amazing mt. cabin retreat! We are familiar with the Murphy area and this cabin will remain at the top our list for future visits. The craftmanship of this cabin and the amenities and the view are spectacular!! My husband's brother and his wife stayed with us and there was plenty of space to be shared inside and outside. The living space with it's fireplace kept us comfy and cozy every nite! The loft bedroom window view made the mornings a joy to awaken to a different colored scene each day. Being I am an avid bird watcher, it was sheer delight to sit on the porch and see so many feathered friends visit the feeder thro out the day!! My husband and I could have stayed here forever. Thank you homeowners for letting us live in your peace of heaven for a little while !!! |

| From the moment we walked in the door, we were highly impressed with Mountain Woods! This is the mountain home people dream of visiting. It has breathtaking views and all the amenities anyone could wish for. Anticipation builds as one climbs in altitude along the winding and beautiful road leading to Mountain Woods. Upon entering the cabin, an absolutely beautiful view of the tall stone fireplace beckons one to sit and take in all the majesty of the Blue Ridge mountains visible from the large windows and doors. The spacious interior with large loft is beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs, the pool table is the the highlight of the game room and provided many hours of entertainment for our family. Open decks and a screened porch with comfortable chairs, outdoor fireplace, and grill provide opportunities for relaxing and enjoying the mountain life. Mountain Woods is our first choice when we return to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We can't wait to come back! |

We've stayed in many mountain cabins and
Mountain Woods is the best yet. We were able to
see up to 9-10 mountain ranges from the living
room and loft.
It has a very warm home atmosphere, the beds are
cozy and comfortable, and our two daughters loved
the loft and having their own full size bed.
When we are vacationing in the Murphy area we will
plan ahead to stay at Mountain Woods again.

We had a wonderful stay in your cabin. The view was to die for and the neighbors are just far enough apart for great privacy, yet close enough for safety.
The cabin is beautiful inside and out with its all wood interior and stone fireplace. The game room is fabulous and the rockers on the wrap around porch were so nice to be able to rock and look at the moon over the mountains. Every convenience has been provided for and we would love to stay here again! If we could have a cabin in the mountains it would certainly be just like this one. When you walk in, it is breathtaking! Thanks! |

| For the past ten years, we rent a different chalet in this area. Because of the convenience of being close to a city and yet still being on a quiet mountain, we plan to continue to rent this home in the future. It offers peace, tranquility and convenience to area attractions. It is well-equiped and has a beautiful view of several mountain ranges. |
