| We stayed at The Thompson House . We found it was perfect for our family . The location was great --we went to Disneyland , Universal , Knotts Berry Farm and shopping in Beverly Hills Centre and around Huntington Beach . Nice quiet community with close by ammentities . We spent 10 days in Huntington Beach as a jumping off point to Disneyland, Legoland, etc.
The home is in a perfect location as it was only about 10 minutes to Disneyland and close to all major amenities. Three turns and you are there...very easy to find.
My 3 boys loved the big screen tv and the 4 bedrooms. Having your own kitchen was a plus when we came home late and made snacks before bed.
The home has a gate that is operated with a remote to get into the driveway in a working class neighbourhood.
Melissa who manages the property is always available and was a pleasure to deal with. You will be greeted with background music playing and the fireplace going as a nice welcome. |

My family is rather large consisting of 3 adults and 5 children and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Thompson House during our family vacation. The check-in process was very easy and very accomodating to our needs, which we considered very important after a long flight with 5 young children. Our first impression of the home when we walked through the door was extraordinary and we could not help but to enjoy a feeling of welcome. The home was prepared with may personal touches for our arrival such as the fire place burning, scented candles lit in many of the rooms and a welcome note in the kitchen. The living room was very comfortable and roomy enough for my entire family to relax and enjoy satellite/cable TV.
The kitchen is large, modern and spacious. The appliances were well kept and very clean the there was plenty of cookware and plates to allow us to prepare anything we could possibly want. The dining area is very lovely and elegant.
The bathrooms are very spacious and were very clean with an abundance of towels and bath necessities available for our use. The laundry room adds an extra convenience and we found the extra large washer and dryer more than adequate. The bedrooms were extrememly comforatable and spacious with fine furinshings throughout and plenty of closet space to place our clothes and belongings. The Thompson house is gated for privacy and security and located in a very nice area that is easily accessable from major highways. There is an abundance of grocery stores, outlet stores and resturants located conveniently close by. The property is also located central to most of the major amusement and theme parks in the Los Angeles/Anaheim area, most within one hours drive. All in all our stay at the Thompson House was very pleasant and key to the enjoyment, fun and comfort experienced by my family during our vacation. We definately plan to stay there again on future family vacations and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
