From the moment we entered the condo - it was love at first sight. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to the ocean breeze and enjoy a cup of coffee out on the balcony. We like the condo, it was easy to find, great location, beautiful view, close to the pool. The building seems to be well maintained and landscaped. The pool was clean and kept up. We all enjoyed our stay at your unit and it was pleasant to come to after 19 hours of travel and a couple of lights were on for us, the fans were on low, and the flowers and rum were on the table. We arrived home safely early Sunday morning after a glorious week on St. Croix and at "Paradise on the Reef". We found the accommodations very satisfactory and found almost everything we needed or would want there. Since we earn our living in the "agri-business" field, we were very pleased to find several news and business channels, as well as the "required" weather channel available on the television. Should we return to St. Croix we certainly would consider renting from you again and will share our experiences with friends/family that might be coming to the island. We did a variety of things while on the island - day trip to Buck Island, horseback riding, following the "Heritage Trail" in our vehicle - which was also satisfactory - going to Point Udall, and trips to Fredricksted and Christiansted to explore both towns extensively. My husband probably enjoyed the horseback riding the best, while I just loved being in a warm, sunny climate and taking in all the sites! It was 85 when we left St. Croix; 30 when we touched down in Raleigh, NC. Brrrrr! It is still cold here and the forecast doesn't show much improvement. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Paradise on the Reef describes it all. What a wonderful stay and the view from the condo was absolutely spectacular. Your rental was actually more than we expected. The brightly colored wicker furniture was soothing and relaxing and having the tile floors was cool and refreshing. It was a pleasure to be able to fix our meals and eat when and what we wanted. The Plaza Extra was a good choice for food. We definitely would love to return to Paradise on the Reef and I plan to take pictures and information to friends who have asked about our stay and especially the accommodations. We enjoyed the most about the island: The abundant beaches, weather, and snorkeling. Buck Island was a great adventure. We all felt that Coakley beach was the best for us. Thanks.

Pleasant! We enjoyed the pool area. Good proximity to Buccaneer for beach and swimming. Loved the Turtle Deli in Frederiksted. Lovely views and beautiful breezes. We knew we were going to have a great stay. Everything is so close Coakley Bay Condominiums that we never had to long of a drive to get to anywhere. Oh! And if any kiteboarders ask about your location, tell them it's the BEST! We were just minutes from both kite beach & Bill Kroft (an AMAZING kite instructor on the island). If anyone we know is going to be visiting St. Croix, we will definitely suggest Paradise on the Reef (close to great restaurants like the Cultured Pelican & Duggan's & Christiansted!). Much needed rest & relaxation. Outstanding view, condo very nice, comfortable, nice pool, very quiet. Perfect 25th anniversary get away. Absolutely would come back. After seeing the island, the East end is the place to be. Met some very nice people in the complex. Enjoyed the slow pace, diversity from East to West end of island from Kayaking, snorkeling Buck Island, to Tan Tan tour. We LOVED everything! Thank you for helping us to celebrate our 25th! The rental car was an extra bonus to a perfect vacation.

We met many locals who gave us tips and connections. People were friendly. We especially liked Chicken Charlie's Roadhouse right down the street. We made many friends there! The view from the condo is beautiful and we so enjoyed seeing the sailboats in route to Buck Island each day. The condo was comfortable. We toured most of the island. After two weeks on Coakley Bay, it almost seems like a second home. We had two wonderful weeks exploring and getting to know St. Croix. This was our first time to the Caribbean, although my son and daughter-in-law have been to other islands. My son's comment was that this trip was better than their honeymoon in Jamaica! Although we live on a lake and now we're back home, waking up this morning to a sea of grass, just wasn't the same as the blue tones of the sea and views of Buck Island. Throughout the years, we've rented houses on the Atlantic Coast for vacations, but this was our first adventure doing the whole process through the Internet. I think your advertising was excellent and described the property accurately. It served our needs very well. If I had my way, I'd probably return tomorrow, but as life goes, we'll have to see what time and circumstance provide. Thank you for sharing your winter home with us. My wife Kathryn and I had a wonderful time on St. Croix at your Condo. You are right- the views from the two balconies are worth a million each! The island with it's history and old windmills intertwining with the palm trees is one of the more interesting places we've been. I can't say enough about the condo..it had every thing you need- two big bedrooms. 2 and 1/2 baths!- books to read and dvd's to watch...wonderful place. With the help of God, we would love to return to your island paradise and condo...

We really enjoyed the condo - beautiful views and it's just as cute as it can be - your decorations are great - we found the store and we're having some stuff sent here. I was surprised at the quality of some of the stores - e.g., Quiet Storm and some of the jewelry stores. We brought back our share of souvenirs and gifts. Ate at the Cultured Pelican three times - it's so convenient and good. We also ate at Cheeseburgers in Paradise and at a couple of other places. We really liked the Bombay Club downtown. Loved the snorkeling on Buck Island. It's really neat that you have all those DVD's, games, etc. Wish we'd known in advance, as we took some of that with us and didn't need to. We also took binoculars - and you have those as well. We'll do it again some time and will surely recommend it to anyone who wants to go to St. Croix. We left a set of children's golf clubs in your cupboard (where the kids' play stuff is) - it's a long story why we brought them - our son was in Trinidad before he came to St. Croix and his clubs got lost in transit. He finally got them back, but the little clubs were still fun. Thank you for sharing your lovely retreat. Best wishes.

We were two couples and the Paradise on the reef was very comfortable.
We loved the location and it seemed very reasonably priced compared to other locations.
We would definitely rent here again if we get the chance to come back to St. Croix. |

We're back!! Just couldn't stay away. Brought our daughter, son, and his girlfriend Sara this time. Arrived Thursday the 14th, unpacked and went to Cheeseburgers in Paradise to eat. Very good! Next three days was spent relaxing and siteseeing and snorkeling. Jeremy and Sara did the Discover scubadive w/ St. Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventure and loved it. We did several additional dives as well. Ended our trip w/ Buck Island all day tour. Saw a nurse shark there - a first! Dinner was at, you guessed it, Cheeseburgers in Paradise. Great entertainment. Yenner? Spanish guitar - just incredible. He owns the watersports shop at Hotel on the Key. Lots more but didn't wish to be a bore! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place! We are looking forward to our next trip!

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Sitting on the patio and looking at the different beautiful colors of the sea and the boats going by was amazing. We drove around the island and it was an amazing experience. The people we met were wonderful and friendly. Going to Cheeseburgers in Paradise was so much fun. We went to the beaches all over and that was fun. We went to Stix and the food was fantastic. We have really enjoyed this trip and will return again. The condo was lovely and the neighbors were friendly. We could not have asked for more on vacation and we will return again.

Our time at A1, our home away from home, has just flown by! There is not anything to equal the view from the gallery . . . the Caribbean changes colors minute by minute and some days are clear enough to view the other "Virgins". We are early birds, and as we have our breakfast watch the sun come over the hill to our East. The colors of the clouds change from shades of gray, then rose, then their daylight shades of white to gray. Some mornings, when we have showers, we can see rainbows. Some of the rainbows look as though they are at the houses on Carden Beach. The palm tree next to the gallery is full of birds. They go in and out of the fronds all day. We caught Wendy DeWitt (boogie woogie piano) at the end of her tour, spent a few Sunday evenings at Cheeseburgers in Paradise to hear Katz and Yanner (guitarists) and Sunday mornings were spent having a delicious brunch at the Blue Moon in Frederiksted listening to the soft jazzy sounds of the trio there. We sailed on the Diva with the new Captain Michael (very young). Everyone had a wonderful time snorkeling at Buck Island. The agricultural fair was really interesting from cattle to gawdy garbed ladies in bright African-Caribbean clothing. We have been coming to St. Croix since 1987 and we still find wonderful and interesting things to do and we look forward to returning to the A1 condo in 2004.

We enjoyed the condo and St. Croix for the third time visiting. Our 5 & 7 year old children loved the beaches. Our favorites were Buccaneer and Cane Bay beach. Enjoyed the scenic beauty of the whole island. Most enjoyable dinner was by the water at Duggan's Reef. Wonderful fish and seafood gumbo. Condo restaurant is also very good. Fresh fish down the street from the fisherman. Can stay home and grill out. Very enjoyable with perfect weather. Condo and all made this vacation a real paradise. In all of our travels around the world, we have never been in a condo or house that has been so well stocked with more than necessities. Our favorites - snorkeling at Buck Island - don't miss it! Order a rum cake from Eleanor - (her ad is in all of the magazines) they are outstanding. We were in search of fresh fish and got a tip to call Captain Pete - we paid $4.00 lb. for two whole fresh fish dolphin. The vegetable stand that's across from "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" is excellent. Great produce, fresh pesto, and freshly prepared Indian food. Very delicious and organic! Our favorite swimming beach is at the Bucaneer - our favorite walking beach is by the Duggan's Restaurant. Thanks!

We can't thank you enough for letting us stay in your fabulous condo! We've had a wonderful time so far, we have two more days to enjoy. So far we have gone to Shoy Beach, Rainbow Beach, Sprat Hole, and Cane Bay (our favorite). We got to meet JJ and Oreo and fed them non-alcoholic beer (they are beer drinking pigs at the Mt. Pellier Domino Hut). We drove through the tropical rain forest, definitely a must! Dave and I scuba dived for the first time today and are going again tomorrow. We used St. Croix Ultimate Blue Water Adventures; very professional and informative. The first time we dove the shelf right outside of Christiansted and today we are going to Salt River, very excited! Tomorrow we'll be going to Buck Island and on a sunset cruise for our last day. Everything has been so magical and I've fallen in love over and over again. We can't thank you enough for making our 1st year anniversary so wonderful and truly an experience to remember! We've finally arrived here in Coakley Bay. The place is beautiful, especially the view. Cheeseburgers in Paradise was excellent! We went swimming everyday after breakfast then we headed out downtown where we ate at Stixx and Rum Runners. We also went to Chenay Bay where we snorkeled and went kayaking. This was a fun experience. Everyday we would sit and watch the beautiful view with our daquiris, which were delicious! We went shopping everyday and played golf. We are very disappointed that we are leaving this beautiful place! Thanks!!

Groceries from Plaza Extra. Good choices and lots of healthy choices I was surprised by. Schooner Market is closer, smaller, very clean, but smaller selection. Snorkeling: These are recommended with your own gear: Shoy Beach at the Buccaneer - fish was great! Cramer Park: excellent beack, o.k. snorkeling. If you're feeling adventurous, the second dirt road past Cramer Park led to a rocky beach. Corals & reefs stole the show. A trip to Buck Island is a must. We went sailing with Captain Michael on the Diva. His cell # is 513-0407. He operates out of Green Cay Marina. Enjoy! We did!!

My husband planned this trip as a surprise for our 4th anniversary, so I didn't know what to expect. When we first drove up to the condo, I was was disappointed that it was across the street from the beach, but once we walked in and saw the view . . . who cares that it's across the street from the beach! We had an excellent time!! Here's our little summary:
Beaches:
Manchineel Bay Beach (our favorite) - Go West on 62 for two miles past the wooden cows, turn left at the pink pillars.
Shoys Beach: (nice beach, some shade)
Turn into Buccaneer, go to guard stand on right and drive until you can't go anymore. Take the path on the left.
Restaurants:
Cheeseburgers in American Paradise - very good burgers, but no better than what we've had in bars back home.
King Conch's Coconut Hut at Chenay Bay - Saturday night all you can eat buffet & Caribbean show. Good food & show. $25/person. Make reservations.
Cultured Pelican: Excellent calzones.
Tours: Big Beard Buck Island snorkeling all day tour including food - worth it!
As much as we love it here, looking forward to going home to seeing our 17 mos. old little girl, Sidney. Next time we'll bring her. Thank you so much.
By the way, Point Udall is a must at night. Plenty of stars and privacy.

The island is very green compared to some other times we've been here. Very windy until the end of our stay . We in April when it became quite warm and some days very still. As always enjoyed the warmth, beaches, snorkeling, and eating at all the good restaurants. One of our favorite sunsets and settings is the Waves at Cane Bay. We went on a wonderful sail and snorkel tour to Buck Island with Captain Francis Waters (Diva Charters) out of Green Cay Marina. We took advantage of the good music available. Steve Katz and Yenner who play great guitar music. The jazz group at Blue Moon (Sunday brunch) and Dick Solberg, the Sun Mountain Fiddler, among others. It was a wonderful relaxing time. Thank you.

After a few wrong turns we arrived at beautiful Coakley Bay! We were so happy to be here and see this lovely, comfortable place! You certainly thought of everything!! Thank you. There is excellent fish and produce at Schooner Market. You pass it on the way from the airport on the left side. This is the best place to shop for groceries. Buck Island Tour: The one we would recommend is Capt. Carl's Dragonfly! It is a trimaran and hold 6 passengers. Very intimate as opposed to one of the larger charters. The four of us were the only ones on board. His number is 773-3161 and we paid $60/each. Did the rum factory tour. It was really interesting and the tasting afterward was wonderful!! We checked out several beaches. We found The Buccaneer had exactly what we would want. It was six dollars and well worth it. The beach was the best and the restaurant was wonderful. We did do Chenay Bay Beach. It's not quite as nice and there was too many families. Point Udall is a great view and must see. Cheeseburgers in Paradise - Best burgers and quick if you want a no big deal experience. Stixx - Nice view and the pizza was good. We did not have the lobster that everyone recommended. Indies - wonderful! Atmosphere was really nice and food was great. Cultured Pelican - Excellent brunch! You will not go away hungry. Dinners are fantastic and the specials are always interesting and the portions are huge! Save room for the wonderful desserts. Duggan's - A lobster must!! They prepare it several ways, but what seems to be the best is baked and stuffed with crabmeat. To die for! Also, the appetizers are incredible. The coconut shrimp and baked brie are great. Buccaneer - We only went there during lunch while at the beach, but the service and food were exceptional. Solitude - Excellent for any last minute needs and the gas station next door (they have air for the rafts). It did rain every day we were there in the late afternoon off and on and the rain does come up quite fast! Overall, the weather was great. The condo view - What can we say? It was one of the most relaxing, beautiful scenes and one that we never got tired of admiring! We had a terrific time and look forward to returning to A1! Thanks again!!

Well, we finally arrived on beautiful St. Croix. What a fabulous time we had! We enjoyed Cheeseburgers in Paraidse, Stixx, Rum Runners, and our last night at the Cultured Pelican (yum!). Part of our group got in some great diving and we all enjoyed the snorkeling at Buck Island. Five of us did the horseback riding with Jill - was a great day - the rains had finally let up and the trails had a chance to dry. The husband ended up with a slight trauma to his ear from diving & swimmers ear so we took a seaplane ride to St. Thomas to see a DAN doctor. The seaplane flight was awesome. St. Thomas is NOT my favorite place - WAY to busy with four cruise ships in port. The condo was great, the view inspiring, and what a fun time the eight of us did have!! The shopping was really fun in St. Croix; nice, friendly people willing to help us enjoy. Thanks again - now it's back to the real world.

Our lives went from 100 mph to full stop as soon as we arrived. One of our favorite meals out was at Duggan's. Only one rainy day. We played bridge, swam in the pool, took frequent walks, worked on our tans. Life is good.

Well, we love this place so much, we came back four weeks later! The condo was fantastic as usual. I did six dives w/ SCUBA and saw a huge spotted eagle ray, a turtle, and a nurse shark along with a vast array of other sea life. Elissa learned to SASA (Supplied Air Snorkeling for Adults) so she could dive all the way down and see stuff. Eating was great. Try the Coconut Hut at Chenay Bay. Stixx's pizza is awesome, Rum Runners is always good, as is Duggan's, which is just down the road. Also, don't forget Cheeseburger's in American Paradise. I think we ate there at least three times. Another favorite of ours is Off the Wall. It's near Carambola Resort and a little ways away, but worth the drive. Sunsets there are fabulous. Till next time!

We arrived at this beautiful island and were pleasantly surprised by our accomodations. All of the ammenities of home! We took a brief walk on the beach across the street & then went to dinner at Duggan's Reef - wonderful view, good food, nice staff. It was a terrific way to end our first night in paradise & a spectacular way to celebrate my 30th birthday! Stopped at Point Udall while there - great photo op! Drove through Frederiksted - not much happening there. Came upon a sign for a "scenic drive" (be sure to have an SUV or four wheel drive). It was breathtaking! This adventure of the rain forest was awesome!! We happened upon Off the Wall at Cane Bay & stopped in for lunch (great atmosphere & food). After grocery shopping at Plaza Extra, dinner & drinks at the condo, we took a dip in the pool - nice! The water at Cramer's Park is beautiful & the snorkeling is o.k. Went back to condo for a quick swim. Cute shops, but go early (open 10 - 5). Had dinner at Cheeseburgers in Paradise - good burgers, scrumptious nachos, great pain killers, & pina coladas. Went to beach across street for snorkeling and saw many exotic fish, including a barracuda, huge black angel fish, lots of sea fans, and sea rods. Afternoon swim at pool. Brought in dinner & dessert from Solitudes store up the street - good food, prices, & friendly service. Sailed at Buck Island with Capt. Carl - awesome! Spent evening on condo balcony reading & drinking margaritas. Shell hunted at beach across street one afternoon - serene, then back to the condo pool and dinner and pina coladas at the condo. On Tuesday, breakfast & reading at the condo. The afternoon was spent across the street at the beach and swimming in condo pool. Next we're going onto St. John for an extended vacation! Thank you - we loved it!!!

The three of us were here for the St. Croix 1/2 Ironman (2 raced). Both did extremely well. We swam at the beach across from the condo, also snorkeled there. Also, snorkeled at Cane Bay. Frederiksted was practically a ghost town the day we were there. Got to know the traffic pattern pretty well since we spent a lot of time in the car checking out the race course, etc. Made it to the pool only once or twice. The sea water is too nice to pass up. We may still dive, however up until now, snorkeling has been pretty good. Big Beard's Buck Island tour (1/2 day) was terrific! K-Mart has the best deals on local rum & other spirits. Plaza Extra was the place for groceries. Condo was nice, airy, & comfortable. Great views! Thank you. 1/2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.

Thanks for another wonderful experience at A1! Our fourth visit to the condo - 13 visits to this lovely island in all. Island on the Cay is fun - a nice dinner buffet on Tuesday nights. They also have jet skis for your enjoyment. Many enjoyable dining experiences, however try to make it to "The Waves" in Frederiksted for dinner - beauiful sunsets. A sail to Buck Island is a nice way to spend the snorkeling and enjoying the most beautiful beach and water you've ever seen. For those of you that like to gamble - a new casino at the East end of the island where the Divi Hotel is. For us tonight, off to Stixx we go! Stay happy!!

Our 13th trip to St. Croix and our second time in A1! We had two sails to Buck Island with Capt. Francis Wakers on the "Diva". We loved seeing the early morning rainbows and the American kestrils on the telephone pole in the evenings. As usual, we enjoyed the beaches in the mornings and the Coakley pool in the late afternoons. It is wonderful to be able to use a real kitchen to entertain our island friends. We have left a gift for A1's to enjoy. For the VCR is called "A Gift of Acadia". We live in Bar Harbor, which is bordered by Acadia National Park. Our town was once called Eden, so it is seemingly appropriate to leave a gift from Eden at this "Island Paradise". Until next year . . .

We had an awesome time here! We enjoyed lots of very pretty beaches! Like Grapetree Beach, The Buccaneer, Sandy Point. We went to Buck Island on Big Beard's boat and we chilled on Turtle Beach for an hour and then went to the reef. I thought it was an awesome reef, one of the best I have seen. I saw a little leather back turtle! It was the cutest thing! My Dad went on a charter and caught some Mahi-Mahi and it was tasty. Wehn we went to Grapetree Beach, we explored the Grapetree Bay Hotel (which was wrecked by Hurricane Hugo) and found all sorts of interesting things. We saw cruise ships lit up in Frederiksted. That's when I go my hair braided. We went to a sugar plantation and it was cool to see how everything looked and worked back in the old days. Went to the rain forest. It was pretty cool. I was swinging on the vines! They were really sturdy too. We explored all different beaches at the East end of the island (they are GREAT snorkel areas). Point Udall is a great picture taking place. It is the Eastern most point of the United States. Well I hope you can visit some of these places because they are to die for!! Thanks.
P.S. - Cheeseburgers in Paradise and Lost Dog in Frederiksted and the place right by the pool!

Weather was great all week, a little cloudy and brief rainshowers, but overall fabulous. Dove 5 days and Lutricia snorkeled on SASA. Lots of fun. On last day of trip before leaving, did the Buck Island all day tour. It was excellent - beautiful coral & fish! Look forward to coming back real soon! Thanks y'all!
P.S. - We made our regular stops at Cheeseburger in Paradise and Duggan's. We added Off the Wall, and the Carambola buffet to our "good places to eat" list. Downtown Christiansted had a great meal at Savant's. We want to try Kendrick's next time. Both are favorites of Molly & Ed, who run the best dive shop in town. See you again next year A1!

My two sisters and I, along with two of my good friends stayed here at Coakley Bay, Unit A1. Thanks for a very nice and accomodating condo. It worked very well for the 5 of us. Our days consisted of sun time either here or we ventured to a different beach. The Buccaneer had a nice beach. In the evenings we would go out to eat at Cheeseburgers in Paradise - our favorite hangout. We also dined at Kendrick's (my favorite) and Tuto Bene's. The Terrace at the Buccaneer and we had an excellent breakfast at Shenanigans. People around here were very helpful - telling us where to go or not to go. Shopping was great and we all purchased a Crucian bracelet. Our week went fast and we were happy to stay here.
P.S. - Point Udall was a beautiful place to take pictures.

The week was very nice, great weather, and what can you say about the view off the balcony! We went to Buck Island for snorkeling. This is a must stop for theose who have not gone. Bid Beard is the man to go with. Captain Mike and his crew Ben and Crystal were a lot of fun. We ate at Cheeseburgers in Paradise, Stixx, and of course A1. The beach at The Buccaneer is great. Also, there is a beach beside The Buccaneer which is very good. The children really enjoyed the pool at Coakley Bay. We had it to ourselves all week. It sure was nice to see part of God's creation at St. Croix.

A great time - warm and very windy at times. No mosquitos! Tip - Chenay Bay Beach is very nice and sandy. 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour from 4 - 6 p.m. there! Reef Beach by Duggan's is very nice & private with lounge chairs. No rain the whole time we were there! Buck Island was wonderful for snorkeling - beautiful fish. Fun to tour the island. Driving on the left took some getting used to. Frederiksted was a ghost town, no one there. Food was wonderful everywhere we went. For breakfast, go to Chenay Bay for lobster crepes, yum! Great food at Stixx and the Cultured Pelican has wonderful food - we ate there twice! We hope to return - nice condo, pool, view! Thanks!!

Excellent condo, great location. We did everything we could. Buck Island was the best. I would stay on Buck Island longer, the sand and water were so beautiful; a little slice of heaven - do the full day trip. Also, take one of the smaller catamaran boats to Buck Island for a more private tour. Duggan's is a must for "Whiskey Lobster". What can one say? Thanks.
P.S. - We donated a lovely white ice chest. The white knight was in use daily!

Enjoyed our week tremendously. Needed a break from "the grind".
- Took 1/2 day trip to Buck Island with Mile Mark. Very , but the nice.
- We loved the beautiful beach at The Buccaneer. Our favorite spot by far. Went everyday. Fabulous clothing shop on the property. Pricey, but the saleswoman was worth it.
- Frequented several markets; Schooner Bay, Solitude.
- Ate at Stixx, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Tuto Bene's, The Buccaneer, and Duggan's (great steaks!)
- Went to the Divi Casino twice - fun!
- Beautiful condo and weather all week.
Now back to reality.

What a beautiful and serene place. The condo was way beyond expectations from looking at pictures on your brochure. Visited beaches - liked Bucaneer Beach best. Pool at condo was great. The Cultured Pelican was great. Enjoyed store up the road. A friend and her daughter came with us (P.K. & Stephanie Jackson). This was our second time here and this time we brought our friends, Steve & Beth. We ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise and then retired to the balcony for the night. God, I love this place! As I sit on the balcony and stare at the horizon, I wonder, as many do, what lieds beyond the and horizon. But then in a peaceful philosophic sense, I of this realize that the horizon does not exist. It is just the point of sky and land coming together. And therein lies the reality of this paradise island, the ability to clear the mind, calm the soul, and sooth the body! Friday morning we awoke well rested from our trip to the island. What a glorious surprise to walk out on the balcony to see the sun out over the sea, a beautiful sailboat and Buck Island. It was truly breathtaking. A great way to start a long awaited vacation. Friday we did a drive around Christiansted. We stopped at King's Landing Yacht Club for our early morning brew. We set up our trips for the week. During our stay, we did 2 all day trips on Bid Beard's Buck Island Tour - we highly recommend this! We dove with V.I. Divers, while one of us floated on the ocean on his raft (Steve is just a big kid!). We toured the Cruzan Rum Factory and the Whim Museum. We drove to Point Udall and we don't see where all those people are going to party on New Year's Eve. We went to the Comino Clud so Jim could feed beer to the pigs. Jim was disappointed at Steve's lack of enthusiasm. We drove all over the island, from Frederiksted to the new resort Divi Carina. Be sure to check out Tito & Sue's crab races - Monday at King's Landing and Friday's at Stixx. We loved the pool at Coakley Bay. We took a dip in there almost every day. We recommend picking up a bracelet at the Caribbean Bracelet Company. And be sure to eat at Cheeseburger in Paradise, The Bombay Club, Styxx, and right here in unit A1. We had an absolutely wonderful time here in paradise and we will return!
