We had a relaxing vacation enjoying the warm fall weather, surprisingly warm ocean and the company of good friends. We are glad to be able to take advantage of this vacation time in the OBX and really enjoyed the house.

We loved staying here! It was soooo amazing! The decks were wonderful and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. We also deffinatly got our use out of all the bikes, we pretty much rode them everywhere! We enjoyed staying in your home. It had lots of room, extras, and is in a nice location. We had a very enjoyable and memorable vacation. We really enjoyed the swing, boogie boards, hot tub and pool. Thanks! The game room was great, try and beat 74 on the basketball game. Thanks for an amazing time! You have a very nice house, the beach and pool were very nice everyday. We also enjoyed the area, especially the Whale Head Club. The house is awesome and the beach is great, except it gets a wee bit hot outside.
We so enjoyed this lovely home - and it really felt like "home." - thanks.
The ten of us were very comfortable here- porch swing was delightful and the hot tub was nice too. Beach - wonderful, pools, nice and handy. Surrounding area, nice and fun. This is really a great "family place."

It's a challenge finding elbow room for 16 (!) on a summer vacation... your lovely beach palace did so with charm and what extras! The foosball table may be the reason we return and the warm water was a delight. Three generations of our family fell in love with Corolla under your roof and on your decks. And the beach! Vermonters on boogie boards is a rare sight indeed. We'll remember the surf and sand castles for years to come. Many thanks from all of us!

Thanks for the great vacation house. We really enjoyed the beach, kayaking and the wild horse tour of the Outer Banks. The kids collected shells and ill be making necklaces out of them. The accommodations were great including the kitchen appliances, toys, bikes, videos and beach chairs (my son says to add the spa!) Thanks again!

| Wonderful house in a wonderful neighborhood in a wonderful part of the Outer Banks. This house has every amenity for a successful vacation for the entire family, including those with very young children. Plenty of TVs, lots of bikes, lots of beach chairs and toys, absolutely excellent kitchen. Very easy walk to the lakeside pool. Easy trip to the beach and beachside pool with plenty of parking. Easy access to the wild horse preserve, a national treasure, the lighthouse, shopping and restaurants. Thanks to the Barretts for making this incredible house available. |

Mr. Barret,
I wanted to thank you for allowing us to rent your house. We had a great time! The house was wonderful and the weather was perfect. We felt very at home. The community was quiet and perfect for a relaxing vacation. Having Kevin next door was also very helpful. He was very kind in answering our questions and making suggestions.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Barrett:
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your home last week. I have to say we were more than impressed as we walked into this absolutely beautiful home! It has a wonderful peace that surrounds it, very relaxing. Thank you so much for the welcome gift - needless to say that was another surprise! Thank you.
The bikes were a real blessing for the kids as they gave an additional area of freedom for the older ones. The enjoyed riding the to lighthouse, out for pizza etc. The location of the pools, lake, basketball courts etc. were excellent given the age range of the kids we had along.
If you are planning on renting again next summer please let me know as soon as you post the rates and schedule. Everyone agreed that this was the perfect set-up and I believe we would love to use it again next year.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for sharing your house with us. We had a wonderful vacation. Both my parents and all my kids agree that it was one of our better trips. According to my mom, we need to go back every year. During our stay, we did some kayaking, took the jeep tour to see the wild horses, did 2 large puzzles during the days it rained, rode bicycles, checked out the lighthouse, worked out at the fitness center, lounged on the beach, body surfed in the waves, and built many sand castles. Sounds like a lot but it was very relaxing. Also, I wanted you to know that Kevin was just wonderful. When the maids did not show up on Sunday to clean the house due to weather he made sure that another cleaning company came to help out. He was also very enjoyable to talk to. You are very lucky to have someone that nice next door to watch over things for you. Well, thanks again for sharing your home with us! Take care Jackie and Family PS We did leave our body boards behind in your shed for other guests to share. We just couldn't take them on the plane and my parents didn't have room to fit them in their car. There were 2 medium sized ones and 1 smaller one. They were well worth the money (all of $45) since the kids used them for hours everyday we went to the beach.
