| Our family of three enjoyed 5 nights in Christina's comfortable and convenient apartment. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The living area is spacious and the bedrooms have adequate storage. Christina speaks fluent English and was eager to help us find our way around. The apartment is located across the Arno and downriver from the historic center, in a local's area. The market is about 3 blocks away. We strongly recommend this apartment. |

Good spot- 20 minutes walk from S. Maria Novella Station. Stairs are steep - wheelchair users wouldn't make it. Property's clean; has all the facilities needed for a good break, except a garden - but you don't many of those on the first floor. Customer service is good, friendly and well-informed. Place would benefit from some minor DIY, but is better than adequate for all but the most discerning - but they'd be staying in a five-star hotel over the river (and paying the price that goes with it). Would return again to this apartment - it's homely. Road's a bit noisy, but hey, this is the centre of a busy city. Parking's easy but expensive. Would suggest that you read and fully understand the parking restrictions, especially the night-time road sweeping in Florence. Easy access to city, bus routes to the centre, or a nice walk along the riverbank. The pizza place on the corner (Sancho Panza's) is good - far better on the inside than it looks on the outside. The park's getting trashed by the tram system that'll run through it, once the buidling work's finished in the city as a whole, and the park in particular. Which is a pity, since the park was once one of the city's pride and joys. If you've made your mind up to stay in Florence on a budget then this place is a really good base. If you really want the fruit and veg experience then go to the Mercato Centrale - it's not "local" - it's a 20 minute walk away (and has become geared for the tourists to some extent), but it's the mutt's nuts for fruit, veg., meat, fish - whatever's edible (the flowefr stalls are pretty too). The city's the nicest I've ever visited - we've come here (Florence) five times now, and it seems to just get better.

A quiet, clean and well maintained property with waterfront and view and centrally located. Easy access to bus station, super markets, restaurants. The apartment has all facilities that you would need. The owner is very pleasant, friendly and speaks fluent English and does not invade your privacy during your stay. You only see her at check in and check out. However she welcomes your queries and is always available on her cell. Excellent value for money. My kids loved it. Definately recommend this place.

This Wonderful Apartment on The Arno suited me and 4 of my friends superbly for our short stay in Florence. It was a spacious apartment in a beautiful part of the city, within walking distance of all that Florence has to offer. Christina was a wonderful host that made sure we had everyting we needed. I would recommend this cozy apartment to all.
Thank you

This apartment was in an excellent position for visiting the centre of Florence, without having to stay in the busy, touristy centre. April in Florence was gorgeous, with lovely weather and Spring flowers and new growth on the trees. The apartment was roomy enough for 3 adults to spread out. The kitchen allowed us to cook local dishes and the proximity to a very well stocked supermarket made everything easy. The easy walk into Florence along the riverbank was a joy and the buses were frequent and easy to use on the days we didn't feel like walking or the weather was inclement. The markets on the opposite side of the river were well worth a visit too. All in all a great experience made all the better by being able to stay in this apartment. Fiona Roger and Becky
