We just finished a fabulous stay at this property and could not have had a better time! We rented the lower unit and the upstairs studio. Both were clean and nicely decorated and the patio off the lower unit was great for our group. The owners had even put up Christmas lights which was such a great touch and the bay was filled with Christmas lit buoys! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

We stay for one week into the three bedrooms flat and we enjoyed our holiday! Rooms are confortable and bathrooms are large and clean. We appreciated BBQ and fast wi-fi connection. Very quiet in the nightime and plenty of restaurants in the neightborough. Nice place for families, the sea is really outside the door!

I rented the 1 bedroom for a week and absolutely loved it! It was neat and clean and quit well appointed for a vacation rental. It's so much better than a hotel and had enough room to accommodate visiting family. Everything is within walking distance and the grandkids loved the bay. What a great little grammie get-away. Will definitely come back to stay again.

Stayed in the 1bedroom unit. Accomodations were wonderful. Owners were great with any questions that needed answering. Planning on staying there again next summer and can't wait.

Six of us stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment for a week at beginning of July. It was in a lovely spot looking straight out over the water. It was an ideal place for us to use as a base for all our siteseeing in LA.

We rented the whole complex for our 2008 Brichta Family reunion from 14-21 June. Our stay was fantastic, the only downfall, which was beyond the control of the owners, is the fact that Bay Shore Ave is closed from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. from the 15th of Jun to 23 Sept. Parking can be quite difficult. My only advise to this is to be very obsevent of all parking signs. If worse cmes to worse there is an all day parking lot at the end of Bay Shore where you can park for $10 until sunset and then park your car out front if need be. The garage is a bit difficult to get into if you have a larger vehicle. The house itself though is WONDERFUL. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely concider renting again if we decide to visit this area in the future.

We stayed at this property with some friends on the Memorial weekend. We had a great time. All 3 units are very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to 2nd st shops and restaurants. It's a very nice neighborhood. We like it so much that we recommend our friends and family to stay here if they travel to LA. Thank you Kelly, and we'll see you soon |

My husband and I recently stayed in the one bedroom unit and were very pleased with the accommodations. This was my first time using the VRBO site so I was apprehensive at first until I started communicating with the owner of the property. I received a prompt answer to any question asked and my deposit was returned in a timely manner. The unit was clean, well maintained and in a great location. We would defintely stay there again. |

In January, my family enjoyed 7 days in the three bedroom unit in Belmont Shores. The unit is immaculate; serving all of our needs. It is in a prime location. We parked the car on the day we arrived and were able to walk everywhere. The restaurants on Second Street cater to every culninary desire from Lebonese to Thai and the locals are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast on the beach, volleyball games, and late night card games on the patio. We returned home relaxed and filled with great memories of our family time at the beach. What a way to bring in the New Year! My family voted to return next year: same time, same place. Thank you Hartwyks!

My family stayed in the 3 bedroom and studio units for 3 days in January. It was a beautiful weekend, the apartments were well stocked, in a beautiful location right on the Bay, and close to Second Street, a fun place to shop and eat. We would highly recommend this rental.

I stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment with a total of 8 people for a week, and we had a wonderful time! I was very impressed by how big and attractive the apartment is, with plenty of room to accommodate so many people comfortably. There are plenty of shops and places to eat a few minutes' walk away on Second Street, and there are several beaches close by. We also had a nice cookout on the patio using the included Weber gas grill. I would happily stay there again!

We spent 2 great months in the 3 BR downstairs unit last Feb and March and had such a great time we added another month in the Studio unit upstairs, smaller but what a view . We loved our time there and walked to most places or rode bikes for quick grocery outings . We loved walks through nearby Naples Island and tried the Gondola Ride & the Kiak rental from the beach across the way . We will be back again in '08 !! Mitch/Pam

Having grown up in Long Beach near Belmont Shore, I spent many summer days socializing and sun tanning on Alamitos Bay and many evenings shuffling down 2nd Street with friends. This home offered the perfect location to enjoy all of the same again with my husband and children. We were steps away from the sand of Alamitos Bay and only a short walk from the peninsula, the ocean, Naples Canals, as well as the shops, restaurants and pubs of 2nd Street. We arrived on a Sunday and didn't take our car out again except to visit Disneyland on Thursday and family on Saturday. Family joined us for kayaking and beach play every day and we dined on 2nd Street at night. We skated along the bike path which meanders through the sand to Downtown's Shoreline Village for lunch with the kids in a double jogger stroller. For those interested in exploring more of Southern California, Long Beach offers a convenient location. Santa Barbara, San Diego, and the wonderful San Bernardino mountains can all be reached in about +/- 2 hours. Depending on the site, it's also only 30 to 45 minutes from Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and Disneyland. We stayed in the lower 3-bedroom unit and found it comfortable and spacious enough for our family and overnight guests. It offers a master with queen, bedroom with twins made up as a king, a bedroom with bunks and trundle for 3 to 4 kids, as well as a sofa bed which we didn't use. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.

WE stayed at the Bayfront Belmont Shores Triplex in the studio for a month and came back at different times for shorter stays when we were in town and the unit was available. With the lagoon sand area to play and take walks on, this place was great for the 2 of us and the grandchildren when they came over.
The studio unit has a balcony with the most spectular view you can imagine from a peak a boo view of the ocean on one end to the 2nd street bridge on the other while watching sail boats, big boats, canoes and people going by right across from you. The studio unit has a good size living room with a Murphy bed, recliner, small couch and Dish TV. The kitchen is small but has a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, Refg, pots, pans, and dishes for cooking your meals if you want a change from all the great restaurants on 2nd street. Second Street is a short walk away with over a ½ mile of shops and restaurants. Take a walk or ride one of the bikes from your home to the ocean 1 ½ blocks in one direction then down about ½ mile and across to second street and back past all the stores. People watch, dine, and shop all within walking distance. Sit in the common area down stairs if you want to be more socialable or sit on your own balcony reading, relaxing and watch the beauty around you.

The Bayfront Belmont Shores Triplex was our best find in the Long Beach area. Our first stay was in the one bedroom unit for a month. We choose the Bayfront Belmont Shores because of the location and surroundings. Our Beach House, as we called it, became such a wonderful experience we came back 4 or 5 more time in the last year and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay.
The one bedroom unit has a front door that faces a lagoon across the street. At first, I thought we might miss the view but with the spacious living area, back patio and the common area down stairs, when we wanted more view, we were very happy. The down stairs common area is set up in warm surroundings so we could sit under an umbrella in the middle of life on Bay Street with a wonderful view of the area.
The one bedroom upstairs unit has a large living room with Dish TV, a couch bed, our oldest daughter and husband used one weekend, and two chairs. The bedroom is behind the living room with a TV, comfortable bed, spacious closet, drawer space, and writing table with a view of the lagoon out the front door. This unit came with a little dinning area in a well-maintained kitchen. A patio area, right after the washer/dryer, is great for sun bathing, barbequing and eating under the umbrella. The month went by all to fast with walks on 2nd street, 3 short blocks away, a half mile of small shops great food and wonderful people watching. We took many walks in the lagoon area across the street or walks down to the ocean 1 ½ blocks the other away. There is a parking space in the back, which comes in handy on busy days and in the summer and holidays when the street is closed to traffic. This street closing is wonderful for street walking, biking, and crossing over to the lagoon. This unit is will maintained by the friendly owners. The winter cost was less then staying at a local hotel with more of everything including fun.
