| I satyed at Casa Mikayla for 5 days and had a wonderful time!! The house and pool were beautiful and secluded. The beach by the estate was one of the nicest I have been to. I look forward to visiting Sayulita and staying at Casa Mikayla again. |

This hillside, jungle estate is beautifully designed & appointed. We loved the palapas-style rooms (with a/c!) and the feeling of being surrounded by nature in an indoor/outdoor living environment. Casa Pajaro is immaculate. Especially for the kids, it was lovely to have our own little private pool. The town of Sayulitas offers the perfect balance of Mexican pueblo and tourist amenities -- a truly cross-cultural experience (which we really wanted for the kids as opposed to a Club-Med thing) but also everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Swimming in the warm ocean with a calm surf (this time of year) was such a treat for all of us. We loved our hosts, Connie & Barry, the groundskeeper Chuy, our driver Angel who collected us from the airport and took us to the superstore to stock up on groceries, and his wife, Lucia, our housekeeper/chef who taught us homemade Mexican cooking right there in our own little kitchen. It was a dream. Five stars! This would be a great spot for a family reunion.

| My husband and I and two of our friends stayed in Casa Mikayla for a week. It was FANTASTIC!! The house was so peacful and relaxing. We loved the pool, the decorations, the location. The beach on the North end (near the house) is so much nicer than in town. We had an easy walk to La Terazola, our favorite restaurant and beach hang out. We'd DEFINITELY stay at Casa Mikayla again. thanks for a wonderful time! |

This was our second time staying at this property. The first time, we stayed at Rana Verde and Casa Pajaro to accommodate our large group. This time, we went with our family of four and stayed in Casa Pajaro. It is by far one of the nicest places to stay in Sayulita for many reasons.... -quiet location but still only a short walk to town -clean, well-maintained property -beautiful landscaping and views -3 minute walk to the beach -safe for young kids -Barry and Connie are perfect hosts -the staff (Lucia, Chey, Dulce) takes care of you -just a cool place to hang out
We've stayed at two other rentals in the area and they don't compare to Rana Verde/Casa Pajaro. We are already planning our trip to Casa Pajaro for next year. |

| Our family, all (12) of us, spent a week at Villa Rana Verde for my son's wedding and pre and post celebrations. The casa Rana Verde and casitas Mikayla and Pajaro were perfect for our group who ranged in age from 25 to 85. Thanks Barry to you and your staff. |

| Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mikayla. It is well built, tastefully decorated, and in a great location for the ultimate 'Sayulita Experience'! We particularly liked the view from the upper deck for scoping the surf and walking the beach down to the main break. Would definitely like to return. |

We spent three glorious weeks in Sayulita sharing Casa Mikaela with our daughter's future in-laws. One might say we celebrated our respective children's honeymoon for them. In May we all return for the wedding.
What a paradise!! Endless days of perfect weather in which to stroll the beach, eat remarkable food, swim and fish... and that's not even the daily margaritas by the pool.
Barry and Connie are the most welcoming of hosts and have helped create a storybook place for our daughter's wedding. We loved their cook Lucia who agreed to cook for the whole wedding and the entire property is spectacular lovingly maintained. We're counting sleeps till we return. |

We couldn't have been more comfortable: welcoming host and staff, beautiful casita in a spectacularly landscaped area, with ocean view, clean, attractive, with an amazingly well equipped kitchen. Good info from the owner about enjoying Sayulita. Staff can do wonderful meals on request-a highlight for us |

| We really enjoyed Casa Pajaro and the quiet life at the north end of Sayulita. So beautiful to sip coffee in the morning and listen to the birds in the jungle. Lucia did cook a wonderful meal and our catch of the day, Dorado. There was everything Barry and Connie said there would be on the property, Thank you. The Pratt's |

My family and I stayed at Casa Pajaro in the middle of July. It is an amazing place! First, the location is ideal. Fifteen minute walk along the beach into town made us feel like we far enough away from town without being isolated. The beach itself is less than a 5 minute walk. This part of the beach is lovely land very sparsely populated.
The plants, flowers, birds and butterflies enveloping Pajaro and the other rentals are incredible. Our two year old daughter loved exploring everywhere.
We enjoy cooking and the kitchen here is gorgeous. Every appliance you could want and all of them are high quality. The pool, beds, showers-- everything is nicely designed and the overall feel is one of a luxurious vacation spot.
Barry and Connie are wonderful hosts-- around enough to make you feel connected but not so much that your privacy feels invaded. We're already planning our return trip! |

Hola Amigo, My family of four and I stayed at Casa Pajaro and Casa Mikayla in March/April of 2008. Both Casas are nearly identical with Mikayla having the advantage of a little better view of the ocean. We were completely satisfied with the accomodations and enjoyed our visit immensely.
The beach is very close by and Sayulita is a short 15 minute walk either down the quiet road or on the beach.
Relaxing in your own private pool is a huge plus. We also enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding in the ocean. The shops and restaurants in Sayulita were a delight as well.
The design of the the Casas is very well thought out and by use of multi levels, stone retaining walls, and lush plant foilage you barely notice others on the property. The plants that are growing all around are absolutely beautiful and tended to daily by a very hard working gardener.
The pool and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The onsite staff is very helpful. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals just bring your own food and drink. The owners Barry & Connie are very nice people and helped with any and all questions.
Would we stay here again? No doubt about it. Adios, Dan

| My husband and I stayed at Casa Mikayla in February 2008 with another couple and had a fantastic time. The home is at the north end of town which is peaceful and tranquil. The decor is charming and comfortable and allowed us to truly relax and feel like we were on a true Mexican holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one would need and the two bedrooms each have their own bath. The views were spectacular from the upstairs bedroom and the patio and pool area is situated in such a way that one feels as though one is in a tropical tree house. Lucia, the housekeeper and cook, made an absolutely delicious meal our first night there. We would definitley return to Casa Mikayla! |

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Pajaro for a week during August. The design and atmosphere were just what we wanted - classy, but down to earth. We opted not to rent a car, so most of our travels were on foot. The house is just far enough away to feel like a respite and close enough to be a lovely way to enjoy the different phases of the day as well as work off the dinner indulgence downtown! The sense of privacy was also just right - we felt like we had the seclusion of our own world, but never isolated. My husband got to have many adventures surfing, fishing, or just exploring. I had my own adventures with my one year old learning how to cook like a real mexicana from the maid, Lucia. She is truly a gem and cooks: The best food - ever! The views, the company, the town, the birds - I could go on, but to be concise, The Dumonts really have something here. To be a part of it is restorative.

My family and I stayed at Casa Pajara in June of 2007 and we will return. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the kitchen has all the ammenities you require, but we so enjoyed the outdoor living at Casa Pajara. The gardens on property surrounding the house are the most beautiful in Sayulita, when you sit on the beautifully designed deck, you look into your very own natural aviary with an ocean view. The pool was a welcome immediate cool-off from the heat. The town of Sayulita is an eclectic delight but still very Mexican with a fabulous beach. |

Casa Pajaro is very well located, nicely furnished, includes a swimming pool of the right size for children. Sayulita is a pleasant, not yet commercialized village. Rate is high but certainly appropriate. Highly recommendable. |

| Casa Pajaro is located in the quiet North end of town situated in a luscious tropical jungle. A banana tree inches from the patio full of bananas. During our stay there were no scorpion sightings but we did have several Corona sightings especially at the beach. In the morning birds would dive into the pool for a quick bath so if you bring a camera have it ready. Drawn to the deck we found ourselves quickly in vacation mode reading books, sun tanning and sipping smoothies made with local fruit abundantly available from the many fruit stands in town. The kitchen separate from the bedrooms is perfect for early risers brewing coffee while the rest of the party sleeps in. The kitchen has amenities not usually found in a Sayulita vacation rental from the coffee maker to it's Henckels knives, BrAwn coffee maker, to the brightly colored Fiesta ware dishes. The home is beautifully decorated in Mexican style. The maid Maria was friendly and helpful with our Spanish. A night watchman greets you at night on the way back from many of the wonderful restaurants that can be found in the town of Sayulita. The Macondo restaurant north of the soccer field was our favorite. Casa Pajaro has a BBQ grill which we used several times but be sure to get your steaks before leaving Puerto Vallarta. For 20 pesos ($2.00 US) you can take a bus to Puerto Vallarta. Thanks Barry and Connie. We enjoyed our stay in paradise. |

I have been hearing of Sayuleta for approx 10 years. After having just spent a week at Casa Pajaro, I am convinced that I will be returning on a frequent basis. Casa Pajaro is in a convenient, and quiet hillside loaction just north of town. A four minute drive, or 15 minute walk to the village. Tropical trees, plants, birdlife, and yes even an occasional Iguana call this home. The crashing of waves, gentle breezes, and the fluttering of leaves will find you believing that there is another way to live life, one that might even lower your blood pressure. The accomodations are new, and immaculate (I'm extremely picky). The architecture is absolutely charming and will embrace you to the point of that Peaceful Easy Feeling! I found that it encouraged me to be profoundly creative in thought, and writing. There are more than enough wonderful places to dine, embibe in a beverage, and shop for local treasures. The Rain Tree restaurant was my personal favorite, a great bar, and Palapa covered dining areas. You can rely on Barry & Connie. They are well respected in their community, and take great pride in providing their guests with the perfect environment to relax, reflect, embibe, and give thanks that there is such a place as Casa Pajaro.

| Casa Pajaro is a perfect place to stay! A luscious, green jungle surrounds the house while brightly colored birds fly by morning and night. Be sure to bring your binoculars! The beautiful beach is perfect for swimming and most days we had it to ourselves. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is superb, but I mostly enjoyed the large outside patio area around the refreshing pool. Barry and Connie were very helpful with restaurant and shopping advice. My family visited twice already and we'll be back soon. |

| Wow! My wife and I stayed at Casa Pajaro for two weeks in Aug. 2005. We had originally intended to stay only one week and find other lodging for the second week but Barry and Connie's was too beautiful to leave! They provided very clean rooms, a chef's kitchen, and all the amenities that make you feel right at home.If you desire a peacefull spot to relax only steps from a gorgeous beach I highly recommend Casa Pajaro. |

This was our second trip to Sayulita and decided try something different by staying on the hill side of the beachroad going north out of town. We chose Casa Pajara from the photographs and the wonderful description. It appeared to be the right size for the amount of people we were bringing and it had a pool and air...almost a must for this time of year (august,'05). Wow! What a surprise. Better than we expected! It was beautiful, quiet (except for the birds) and relaxing. The owners were onsite (different house) which turned out to be a bonus as they were a wealth of information (call them before booking your trip, they have plenty of useful tips). Sayulita has become our "go to" when we need a place to decompress and we are considering returning to stay with Barry and Connie in their larger home on the property, Casa Rana, and bringing the whole family. Thanks Barry, we had a wonderful time. Steve |

As a spot to celebrate life, the bird house was wonderful! Close enough to enjoy the town of Sayulita, but far enough away from the dust, noise and crowds to hear and see all the birds. The house is beautifully appointed in vibrant colors and glorious artworks. The kitchen is equipped with everything--microwave, large refrigerator, dish washer, two types of coffee makers, toaster, blender, juicer, etc. Carmen and her daughter Brenda will even do the cooking if you so desire! They made the best tortillas we've EVER eaten--and we've eaten a lot! Beds are comfy and relaxing, the shower spacious with oodles of hot water, and the plunge pool just right for a cooling dip.
But the best is the host and hostess plus their kitties and new puppy. They are all quite delightful and do all in their respective powers to make Sayulita your best ever vacation.

| My family (3 Kids) stayed at Casa Pajaro in March 05. I can confirm that we enjoyed on stay there. Quite, clean, hospitality at its best from the owners and staff. I have stayed in other locations in Sayulita and this place is the best setting in town. Renting both Casa's would be the ideal setting for a family reunion or friends get together. Again we enjoyed privacy and responsive owners who you can depend on all keys to enjoyable vacation. |
