| Thank you Hayley for a wonderful place to stay on our whirlwind trip to Washington. We came with our 4 year old son who really enjoyed playing with all of the toys. The cabin was IMMACULATE! and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked. We have stayed in several VRBO's and have to say that this is one of the nicer ones that we have ever stayed in. We had a wonderful time and in fact our boy wants to come back! |

I booked this cabin based solely off the pictures on VRBO. The pictures don't even do the cabin justice. It's such a quiet, relaxing setting. We had such a wonderful time! The cabin was spotless and everything you could ever need was there. The kids had a blast playing on the swing. The jacuzzi, fire pit and horseshoes pit were also great. The movies were a huge hit with everyone. The lake was just a short distance away (the kids spent hours skipping rocks on the lake). This cabin is th

| We had such an amazing time at the cabin. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every single day. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the lake and a short drive to Staircase and Mt Ellinor which we hiked. The new IGA grovery store was perfect as well. We were able to stock up on burgers and what not for our dinners at the cabin. The Nun family has provided a perfect getaway with tons of cooking supplies. Best cabin experience! We plan on revisiting in the future. Thanks for a great vacation! |

| We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 15th birthday. This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The hot tub was wonderful and the peace and quiet was incredible. |

This cabin was perfect for a weekend scrap booking get a way. There were five of us and every one of us truly enjoyed our stay. We didn't want for anything, it was so totally supplied with all things. My daughter and her mother in law and my daughter in law have all decided we want to come back for a family vacation together. There is so much room there and as I said we were provided with just everything. We have a timehare and it does not even come close in comparison with this cabin. This cabin makes you say over and over "I wish we had something like this!" I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends. Karen Lakebay, Washington |

| My family had a wonderful stay at the Captains Treasure at Lake Cushman. I cannot overemphasize how much I recommend this cabin to others looking for a great vacation experience. In fact, I have already recommended it to my married children as well as some of our friends. The cabin was in immaculate condition. Every detail was thought of by the owners. All of the cabinets were well stocked with everything one would need for preparing meals. There were numerous games available as well as an extensive DVD collection. We truly enjoyed the hot tub and used it often. We are now shopping for one of our own. If you are looking for a special experience, I recommend staying in this cabin as you will not be sorry. |

Our second stay at the Nunns' Lake Cushman cabin this year, and we had an even more relaxing time than back in May/June. See our comments further down on this page from our last stay; simply put, this place is the best! Hoping to come back next year! |

| The cabin was everything the Nunn's said it would be and more. All the amenities you could ever want in the kitchen, toys for the kids, a hot tub and a beautiful setting... The Nunn's made the whole process of renting from them effortless. Would highly recommend Captains Treasure. |

| This was exactly the break that the two of us needed. A good chance to escape from our regular lives and relax. The hot tub was an excellent accomodation, as was everything else that comes to mind of our stay. A very clean and tidy place, stocked well with anything you might need during the duration of your stay. Well worth the rate and then some. |

We have never rented as nice a place before: amazing location, impeccably clean, well appointed, and stocked to the hilt with all the things one forgets to bring to a vacation rental home (everything from paper towels to BBQ sauce, laundry detergent to candles!).
With multiple boat launches literally minutes away, an outdoor hot tub with built-in stereo, huge deck with grill, three tables and one of the most comfortable Adirondack chairs I've ever sat in, fire & horseshoe pits, and plenty of room outside for kids to run around, we hardly spent any time indoors!
The appliances in the kitchen were top-notch (dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge), and having a clothes washer/dryer on site was a huge plus. Plenty of cutlery, plates, cups, and every pot, pan, and dish you could imagine (we even made a pie one day: rolling pin, pie plate and all!).
One note: Hayley means it when she tells you that cell phones don't work up here; a blessing in disguise, really. The cabin's phone does have an answering machine, though, in case anyone needs to get in touch with you. No internet access either, but a few days without emails never hurt anyone!
The cabin's size was much larger than the pictures made it look; would need a wide-angle camera lens to do it justice. Two full bathrooms, two floors, super-tall ceilings...
We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone (couples or families) and we plan to come back in early fall. It's a long trip from Boston, but SO worth it!
Thanks to Hayley & Mike for letting us rent your place! Don't know how you keep yourselves from staying up there all summer long!!! |

We loved this place. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The cabin is much larger and nicer than the pictures indicate. The living room is extremely large and open. There is a master bedroom downstairs and a very large loft upstairs: 2 beds in bedroom, double bed matress in loft, bathroom, and game table.
We loved the seclusion...hate to see all the lots filled in a few years from now, but for now, we could barely see any other places through the trees. Our kids loved the games, movies, hot tub, horseshoes, and ski chair swing.
Once we figured out all the remotes (including a remote for the pellet stove) we really relaxed. The fixings for pancakes and the nice pancake skillet were great.
Overall, we were very thankful that the Nunns shared their place with us...very relaxing...for a good price too.

| I would suggest getting your reservations in early for the Holidays on this one! Secluded, peaceful and so much to do. The cabin is even more spectacular than in the pictures. Lots of walks in the woods and beaches. We kayaked on Kokanee & Cushman for spectacular views and fishing. We would recommend it in any season. Don't miss this opportunity for truly one of the Best in the Northwest! |

| What a find! This cabin is definitely a treasure! Tons of amenities! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, horseshoes, the well stocked kitchen, the movies and the games. This cabin is clean and comfortable! The lake was just a few steps away and we swam every day. Thank you for sharing this jewel! |

| Truly, a wonderful place for families! We really appreciated all the little touches that made staying there unforgetable! The location is absolutely beautiful! This is the best cabin we have stayed in-the great setup for everyone, well stocked kitchen and truly a updated and clean cabin. Our family really loved the outside more with it's great deck with the grill and tables, enough sitting for everyone, the hot tub(the kid's personal favorite), the fire pit and horse shoe pit! And we appreciated all the games, toys & movies (a great updated movie selection-little video store) that kept everyone entertained. The lake is a short ten minute walk with lots of things to do! We can't say how much fun it was to stay there! It was a pleasure to say there! We would highly recommend for your next vacation! |

The cabin is very comfortable and well stocked. We just visited friends for the second time and it was a great, relaxing trip. We had two young children with us and they had a good time with all the toys and movies. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and makes packing for the trip so much easier. |

Our goal is to create a nearly carefree place to get away from it all. A home away from home without the stress of everyday life. Read a book, magazine, go for walks or go hiking, or just enjoy the mountain view from the lake. Many more things to do to get away from it all. Escape to the Olympic Mountains!
