| I took my family here for my dad's retirement and we had a great time. I grew up in Honolulu so this was much preferable to living in a "vacation" home--much more comfortable, and much more local in character. Like all homes in Hawaii, the windows are louvered, so there tends to be a lot of street noise at night, but given the wonderful breeze, I wouldn't close them. The view is fantastic, the porch is a great place to spend the evenings. The house was full of every amenity and the ambiance was totally hospitable. There were five adults and two infants, and we were comfortable. It was an excellent trip, we hope to stay there again. |

This house and location were GREAT! After a day of sighting or shopping it was a pleasure to retreat to the house on Maunalani Heights where the breeze was always present and cooled the house. The deck was our haven, overlooking Waikiki, Diamond Head, some of Honolulu and east to Kahala. The ceiling fans kept us cool in the evenings, the kitchen was equipped with every conceivable appliance and kitchenware, laundry facilities, bedrooms large, phones, computer hook-ups/printer. I could go on. But it was the wonderful covered deck that where we retreated to and spend hours. There were six of us, and no one had a complaint, except it was too short.
Thank you! |

Our family of five just got home from our vacation, and we had a great time staying in this wonderful house. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Our two teenagers loved being able to each watch their own TV. We also were happy with the Internet service. I was pleased with how close we were to all the things we wanted to see and do, but the thing I loved the very most was just sitting out on the lanai and looking at Diamond Head. It was such a spectacular view! I was sad when it was time for us to leave--I felt like I was home already. We are hoping to come out again in a couple of years when our daughter graduates from BYU-H, and we already know exactly where we want to stay. |

We stayed in this house for 9 days in April and May. There were 5 of us. The house is very comfortable with a great view of Diamond Head and you can see the ocean from the Lanai. Fully equipped (including high speed internet, snorkeling gear and BBQ), it allows everybody ample room indoors (but why stay in, its Hawaii) or have your meals on the Lanai with a great view. It is in a great location, close to H1 and downtown Waikiki (the nearest beach and Daiamond Head are less than 10 min away). The owner provides a list of things to do, places to eat and some maps, all of which were very useful.
My only negative comment is that the neighborhood streets were surprisingly noisy, but I guess people do work in Hawaii too. |

| My family of four stayed here in Feb. 2008. This house was perfect. We had enough room, beautiful views and peace from the busy city below. The house has everything you need for a great vacation. The bus service even stops nearby for those who decide not to drive. This property is well worth the money.Enjoy your stay. |

| Great house for our needs! Enjoyed the view of Diamondhead and Honolulu! Very convenient to have laundry facilities available AND covered parking off the street. Breezes kept the inside temperature pleasant most of the day and cool during the night. The five of us had plenty of room. Each time we walked in the house we exclaimed how we were happy to be able to come home to this house rather than a hotel room! |

| This was a trip of a lifetime for our party of 4. We went to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. My 87 year old father is a Pearl Harbor survivor and family and friends had been planning this trip for several years. Our stay at this beautiful house has just added to our memories of our trip. The house was beyond our expectations and my father's favorite time of the day was coffee on the lanai looking at Diamond Head. We took full advantage of the great book at the house and took some of the tours suggested. Laundry right downstairs, a charming tenant with wonderful knowledge of the customs of the island and a helpful and friendly caretaker. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! Thank you! |

Our party had three adults and three children and the house in Maunalani was just perfect for us. We ate every breakfast and dinner on the porch so we could enjoy the fantastic views of downtown Honolulu. The house is charming, well kept, and well organized. By the way by sheer coincidence, one of my PH.d students had rented your house for his family last summer when they were in Hawaii for his wedding. He said that his mom and sisters made a quite large wedding cake in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay in Oahu. The accommodations were perfect ofr our family of four adults. We all had a great time. We really enjoyed eating outside and who wouldn't enjoy the view both day and night time. Daily showers let us capture the rainbows on film. The evening breeze on the hill made for super sleeping. The washer and dryer were a plus, too. My husband had a very successful conference and show at the convention center. the highlight on our days of touring was the USS Arizona. The great weatherf, the blues of the water and tropical breezes are already calling us back. (Aug. 2005)

Thank you so much for the hospitality. Your house is beautiful beyond words and that view is absolutely breathtaking. Those pictures did not do your house justice. Our vacation was so wonderful from the luau at Paradise Cove, to the golf we played at Ko'olau and Luana Hills, to the snorkeling at Haunama Bay, to Kuloa Ranch, the North Shore, etc. I could go on and on. it was an amazing vacation.
