| Wyndie, Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us over Christmas. We had a wonderful time. The kids had a great time in the play garage. We hardly saw them. There was plenty of room for all of us. We used the heated pool most every day, except when it was raining. The fire pit in the back was nice. The adults could relasx and talk about the days events at Disneyland. It was a perfect trip. |

Hi Wyndie, We had a wonderful, but exhausting trip. The house was perfect for us. The kids loved the pool and the toy room. I don't think they watched any tv with everything else there was to do. Day 1 and all I can say is WOW!! It has surpassed our hopes and dreams for the lat 8 years.
April 11 The family all arrives today, Dayna, Don, Alyson(8) Evan(6) Daniel(3)McGeachy arrive at 10:15 and Jacki, Steve, Kaela and Colin arrive at 12 noon. We cannot wait to see their faces. Talk to you later.
Our biggest problem is getting the kids away from their own personnal Disneyland....they love it here so much! We hat to leave tomorrow to San Diego.
Dear Wyndie, Thank you so much for the wonderful place to stay at while we visited Disneyland. It was difficult to get up and leave the house each day because the kids loved it here so much, but we tore ourselves away to go to Disneyland, but always ended up leaving early to come back and go swimming. Happy New Year! I told John on the flight down, that if the house was anything like your pre-vacation customer service, then we would be great. Well, you out did yourself!! This house of Mickey was a fabulous welcome to our Disneyland vacation.
The kids were thrilled with all the decorations as well as "Mom" and "Sister". It was so nice to arrive to a Christmas atmosphere.

Wyndie, we can't thank you enuf for the great time we had at your house. the kids(big and little) enjoyed themselves tremendously! I am sure we did not get all the toys back in their proper spots because there were so many and they enjoyed them all!! Many afternoons they stayed dressed in costumes and played forever in the playroom. The pool and hot tub was as big a hit as Disneyland was for them. I have already given your website address to several people here at the police department who have listened to me go on and on about how great the house was and how you had it all decorated for Christmas and that there wasn't anything you had not thought of! Dear Wyndie, Thank you for your hospitality and the use of your "Mickey Mouse House"! We have stayed at the Marriott, at the Disneyland Pier, the Disneyland Hotel and the Stagbridge suites here at Disneyland. None of those hotels can compare to your home!!
Our kids loved the pool, it was so refreshing and the water was just right temperature wise!
Who knew Huntington Beach was so close as well!
My children had a Magical experience and referred to your house as "home".

Our Journey started at your house on the 1st September 07 and ended on the 30th/. One month in Disneyland. People thought that we would be bored. Obviously, they didn't know how wonderful this house was. Thanks for helping "our Disneyland holiday" be more comfortable and stress free. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch earlier, we are just getting back to normal, it has been really difficult getting nover our jetlag.
I wanted to let you know what a fantastic holiday we had, and staying at your house helped make it so. When Megan (our granddaughter) first walked through the door to the bedroom and saw all the dresses she was so excited. The house is a child's paradise. The toys in the garage kept her occupied most evenings, she just played writing, dressing all the Barbie dolls. I hope we managed to put everything back in its place. The toys outside were also a real bonus, especially for our little granddaughter, Ella. She just pottered about playing with the toys when she was fed up with the pool, I don't think we could have chosen anywhere better.
We visited Disneyland several times and Megan managed to get lots of autographs and photographs, especially from the Disney Princesses, the sutograph book you left her came in very handy. Infact all the gifts you so kindly left were very much appreciated, it was very thoughtful of you. We did what you recommended and had lunch at Ariels' Grotto. What an experience, one we'll never forget. Thank you.
We went down to San Diego Zoo and Sea World, both fantastic experiences. Dave and I visited LA six years ago, this time we saw it through children's eyes and we had a most memorable time. I hope we will visit again soon.

The also play quite regularly at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, where The Beatles started out, bands actually do it for free, its such a priviledge.

We sure enjoyed the conveinience and coziness of your Mouse House. It's in such a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, that you'd never guess it's so close to EVERYTHING! There was plenty of room for the 11 of us to live and play. The kids were happy that we took days off to just enjoy the pool and toys. Sometimes the amount of things like books, magazines and toys was overwhelming, but whenever we needed something, it was findable! We were grateful for the strollers on long days at Disneyland. Thank you for the "personal" touch...so different from staying in a crowded hotel. We would recommend it to others. Thanks again!

Canadian Spring Break
Thank you Wyndie from the Koch's and Hamre's from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
We had an awesome holday here in Anaheim and your house was a big part of that. So much better for our two families than a hotel room. We particularly enjoyed being able to put the kids to bed and then sit around playing games for the rest of the evening -not possible in a hotel. It was also great being able to cook our own meals and come and go as we please from the Disney parks.
The weather was awesome so we enjoyed some days off, just hanging around the pool. Would love to come back again some day. Bye for now

Wyndie, You have a beautiful home that is loaded with extras for the kids, we didn't have to haul extra junk (strollers etc.) Kids loved pool. Sorry we had to wake you so early those couple of times for the pool, but you know kids! It was nice chatting with you before and during our holiday.
Thanx for all the help with shopping locations, the teens really loved the outlet malls. Once again, thanx for everything.

Wyndie, This has been such a great vacation. It was nice having Disneyland so close, however, if you have strollers and young kids, it is more like a 40 minute walk, not 20. We also made it down to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. SeaWorld was our favorite because many of the things could be enjoyed by adults and kids. We also went to the beach for a day and the kids had a blast with all the sand toys. Wioth all the activities during the day, it was so nice to have someplace to relax in. Most nights, right after we got home, people were in the pool. For us in Montana, the weather was really nice and the pool was awesome. Thank you so much for the comfortable atmosphere.

My mom Sandra has been dreaming of taking us all on vacation for years. She told us all a year ago to plan for this trip.The children and adults have been so excited for this trip for months!
Having such a wonderful home as "base camp" for teams Wilsey, Doncouse and Webb, was perfect. We even found a neighboring family from home at Disneyland and fed them all Thanksgiving dinner!! They were truly thankful not to be forced to eat at Dennys. That makes 26 people for Turkey day. What fun! One funny thing: we shoved granny in the garage to slepp-despite such an unconventional bedroom, grandma has been grinning from ear to ear. She is so happy to have her whole family around her in such a happy environment. The 8 small children have, of course, been using all the toys non-stop and feeding everyone was a breeze-with the Disney themed Waffle maker!! We celebrated two birthdays and you even provided birthday decorations for them!! Thanks! What more needs to be said? Your sign with the 6 "B"s helped keep things in perspective.

Wyndie What a place for our family to celebrate Tom and Bess's 50th wedding anniversary. Our honeymoon was spent in "Big Easy" and we ate out at the New Orleans Cafe at Disneyland. Now how could you plan better?
Our grandchildren had fun playing in the pool and we enjoyed the back yard for our picnics!

WOW!! You literally thought of everything we could ever need or want. We didn't even need to go to the park, the kids would have loved just playing here!
The princess dress up chest was a surprise bonus. My four year old princess was already in awe of the toy room and when she saw the chest she came running out saying " My dream has come true!!"
All of the pool toys were amazing. Something for every age and I loved having so many floatation devices to try for my 18 month old. If it's been invented, it was here to try. Thanks again. We will totally be planning trips around staying in this house. Peggy

We felt so at home in your home. It must be all the love you have put into it. and so thoughtful-bringing an ice cream cake and bread. What more could we ask?
The boys had a fantastic time in the pool! The favorite game was using Jeff's 15lb weights to crawl down the pool under water. Without your relaxing home to unwind, Disneyland would not have been nearly as fun.
I look forward to our future trips and we will definitely refer your home-but not too much!!We still want time for us!!!

I've been telling EVERYONE all week how wonderful our trip to Disneyland was and how incredible the house we stayed in was. I think you'll get some takers next summer and if they don't decide to book your house, they are nuts! I go busy with some wedding things once we got home so I neglected to write you right away and tell you we got home safe. The people at Mulahey Chevrolet were very nice, My husband said he wished the mechanic was in Salt Lake so that he could use him more often. If we could have got the part earlier, they could have fixed it on Thursday afternoon but LA traffic is just a little crazy!!! They got the car fixed early on Friday morning so we were on our way back to Salt Lake around noon. I'm so happy we didn't have to spend our entire trip in a hotel. Just trying to keep one little guy occupied for one night at the Marriott was a chore. He wqas so wound up from such a wonderful week that he didn't want to settle down. He kept asking where the toys were! Since we've been home, several of the kids have said they wanted to go back and play with the toys at the Disneyland house. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation. Thanks again for all the things you did to help make it that way. I will continue to recommend you to anyone who has a large group going to Disneyland. Maybe we'll get to meet you sometime. It will probably be a few more years before we plan a big trip like that again, but when we do , we'll think of you. WOW! WOW! WOW! This was a vacation free of hassle, fights, and bad moods- Disneyland really is a Magic Kingdom! Keeping 12 adults and 6 children under 4 entertained and happy was easier because of your great help. From our first contact on the internet to our final hours here, we've enjoyed your warm welcome and hospitality without ever seeing a face behind all the kindness.
Our favorites were the bowl of welcome kisses, the famous toy room and the pool. Late nights and tired feet found us all in the hot tub with little ones in bed. We kept so busy each day that it was often at 1:00 am when we got to have a relaxing swim!
We will definitely refer you to our friends and their families. It was so nice to have a home away from home - much nicer than being cramped in a few small hotel rooms. Everything ws convenient and comfortaable for all of us. We appreciate all the little things that were though of in advance to make our stay wonderful. Thanks a million for helping us have a wonderful time. The band and Lucas thought they had arrived in paradise when they saw the toys in the garage! You have thought so hard and well to provide for a relaxing and happy holiday. Enough plates to feed an army!! Such a quiet refuge after 12 hours in Disney-but it would take a too many Sundays to read all the books and guides and literature, to say nothing of watching all the videos. We though nothing could be missing, but we caught you out! and asked the Mad Hatter for a TEAPOT!! The ride for Gerry and Michele was above and beyond the call of duty- THANKS. It was a fortunate day for us when Andy found you on the "net". I know you wanted someone from Scotland..lol...we are only an hour and a half away from the border, but if it helps, I am of ancestry Scottish, my maiden name is Armour. and Laura Armour helped Bonnie Prince Charlie to escape the English!!

Hi Wyndie, well we finally made it home and have most of our vacation stuff unpacked. We wanted to express our gratitude once again for your wonderful Disney vacation home. The kids were so in awe of the playroom and all the toys you had for them to play with.
The pool was wonderful! The catch phrase of the vacation soon became, "when we get home can we go swimming?" and all us grown ups loved the hot tub after a day of endless walking.
We found everything extremely accommodating and have already recommended your place to other friends and family. We have also mentioned that if we ever manage to get back down there, we would like to stay there again.
Thanks so much again, from all of us, we couldn't have asked for anything better, and all that you provided certainly helped make our vacation that much more special.

The house was a big hit. You thought of everything! From the beach toys to the coolers... the nintendo and toys for the kids to the air hockey table for all... the large dinner table was very nice so we could all sit together. We even left Disneyland in the middle of the day because of the heat and the kids didn't complain, they wanted to go back to the house to swim and play. We will definiatly stay again if we ever plan a trip to that area. Thank you so much!

We ended up leaving Disneyland to come back here for a few hours with no complaints from the kids. Hi there Wyndie! We got your deposit cheque today. Thank you very much. I just wanted to let you know that we were VERY happy with your place. It's a little scary booking something online and sending money to a total stranger. You hear of all these scary internet stories of fancy websites and nice pictures and when you show up, it is a run down dump in the middle of a ghetto. You made us feel very comfortable when booking because of your honesty, helpfulness, speedy responses and friendly e-mails. Your place is even better that we expected and we will be back! My in-laws were also very happy and thanx again for letting them in the night before. My mom came with us and she really enjoyed herself. It was a family get away she really needed as my dad just passed away at the end of November after oopen heart surgery complications at the age of 58 and after 38 years of being married. We have told a ton of people about your place and have also passed your website info to a bunch. Something I have told everyone is that the house had EVERYTHING!! I have said it looks like you and your kids just packed up your clothes and left!! That is what makes it feel so comfortable and homey. The only bad part is that we never did get to sit down and have a beer with you:-( Anyways...thank you once again for the wonderful experience, it means alot to us. What a great way to see Disneyland - through the eyes of children! Can't recommend a better way than to come back to all the comforts fo home and then some - what can we say? The children sure enjoyed the pool and the big kids enjoyed the hot tub. Wyndie went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'd like to thank you for the excellent accomodations. Two of our boys ages 4 and 7 thought they'd died and gone to heaven when they found the Legos. We're sorry to have had to request the leaves be cleaned out of the pool, but it was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire group on two occasions. The spa was great for the late evenings after walking the parks. Your home is truly a home away from home and is well stocked and maintained.
We had a great time, the weather was cooperative (except for the strong winds on our arrival and the first day). Your home will be recommended if we hear of anyone requiring accomodations here. It is close to so much, making travel very easy. We leave with great memories and one of them is definitely your home.

Our three-generation family had an enjoyable and memorable two week holiday here-and it was made more pleasant by the coziness of your lovely home, which provided such a homey atmosphere. Its proximity to all the fun and theme parks is a bonus in convenience.
Though it is unlikely that we will come this way again, I can certainly recommend it to my friends if they should come this way. I feel that Luke and I have made a new friend here in Orange County.

What can I say? California in November. when we left our home in a blizzard, was truly a wonderfully refreshing time! Last night, as we left Disneyland for the last time, my 8 year old boy teared up, he just didn't want it to end. This home has been fabulous and the pool and hot tub were especially great after our long trekking adventure days. My kids often referred to this house as "home" and I think that's probably the greatest compliment there could ever be. Thank you so very much.

Went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego (just outside) Great place! There was a wonderful petting zoo. The next day, we went to Huntington Beach, even though it was cloudy, it was still beautiful, we ate lunch at the end of the pier at Ruby's diner. Great spot! When we were done eating, the skies cleared and it was sunny so we stuck our feet in the ocean!! We heated the pool and took a late swim, Great pool. The last day we spent 6 1/2 hours at, of course...Disneyland!! Awesome time!! Unfortunately on Friday we are headed back to WA. Thanks for all the great accomodations, we really enjoyed the house! Bo

The house is full of toys for our grandkids and adults too! The heated pool was a pleasure on the cool days. Not only is Disneyland convenient, but the weekend nite time fireworks display (9pm) were exciting to watch.
With adults and 3 kids, this is a much better setup than a hotel or condo.

Also, SeaWorld in San Diego was a worthwhile 1 1/2 hour trip. All ages enjoyed. And we also visited the Orange County Zoo. Quite nice! Animals indigenious to the area and pony rides at $4.00. A BIG HIT with the youngun's. Spen day and 1/2 at Huntington city beaches. very nice. sunny-water was cold-quiet-easily accessible!
Our last day we enjoyed a final late afternoon in the pool and hot tub! Thank Goodness for daylight savings time as we have to leave at 5:30 am for our early LAX flight to Raleigh.
Enjoyed our stay, thanks for the assorted info and maps on the bookshelves.

We're doing a 3 week tour of California and this made a perfect location to have a week of rest, before we set off for the Grand Canyon, Death Valley and Yosemite. This is a great location for Disneyland-it was lovely to escape during the heat of the day, and come back to the house for a dip in the pool and BBQ, before going back refreshed for the evening.
The house had everything we needed, the pool, air hockey table, legos and basketball hoop were particularly popular with our boys.
Thanks for everything, we've really enjoyed our time here.

Being away from home for a month isn't an easy thing, having the house helped SO much! The pool was fantastic! My son Jesse with CP(cerebal palsy) loved it! It was his daily reward for the hard work he did in therapy. The central location also helped us to make the most of our downtime. Although if you have a disability, I wouldn't recommend Disneyland, they were truly awful! Other than that, our time here was good. Thanks for everything!

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our family vacation. The comfort, in-house information and location was perfect. We appreciate all the work you put into the books and made good use of them. The children had a great time with the toys and the whole family used and enjoyed the spa and pool to the fullest.
