| This is a long overdue recommendation for Ms. Comolli's flat in Paris. My husband and I stayed there for several months last year, and we already have our reservations for a return again this spring. I would think that might say it all! First and foremost, Ms. Comolli is an extremely kind and gracious host, which certainly is the flat's most important asset, though by no means the only one. The light, lovely apartment is beautifully and comfortably appointed, and in an area which is just outside the tourist locales - close enough to reach everything easily on foot or by Metro, yet quiet and in a "real" Parisian neighborhood. It is a short stroll away from the cafes of Blvd Montparnasse, but also only a 10 to 15 minute walk up Blvd St. Michel to Place St. Michel, in the center of everything. There is a grocery a few steps up the street, and additionally one can reach the outdoor markets of Rue Mouffetard, Place Monge, Port Royal and also those near the Montparnasse train station, by foot. The nearby Luxembourg Gardens were an absolute joy for picnicing, walking and people watching. Those who like to jog would find this an ideal spot for doing so, and would have plenty of company! If one walks completely through the grounds for perhaps 10 minutes, one ends up near Place St. Sulpice on the other side, another exquisite corner of Paris - and the location of some of the city's best chocolatiers. The apartment is wonderfully furnished and completely functional for use as one's "home away from home". I believe that up to 5 guests might be able to sleep there. A few details that we found especially fortunate: the bed in the bedroom has a firm mattress, and is probably king-sized, plus the building has a small elevator which is very helpful for luggage and groceries. The kitchen stove has 4 burners, and there is an oven; anyone who has looked into cooking facilities for a Paris visit will understand that this is a bonus, indeed. The views from the flat are largely of garrets, windows, mansard roofs, and a few courtyard spaces. This is particularly beautiful as one feels in the heart of things, and the northern/southern exposures provide light from sunrise to sunset. Ms. Comolli also has a nice radio, CD player and speakers there, so bring along some Edith Piaf - sounds corny, I know, but for a tourist truly it's heaven! My husband and I are looking forward to our time there, absolutely. |

We had the most wonderful time in Paris - the apartment was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, plenty of light and space and very clean and it was wonderful to have a balcony with views. Very well located for everything, the Metro, supermarkets, bakerys, restaurants and of course the Luxembourg Gardens. We walked just about everywhere, including the Lourve and the Seine River. There are maps and information booklets on shopping and eating out in the apartment. It was wonderful to be in an area that wasn't touristy, for a week we felt like we were living in Paris. Highly recommended. |

| Laura is a great hostess, and her flat is superbly located and appointed. We stayed a week over Christmas and found the convenience of her location wonderful. Close to everything you would want to see in Paris, we were very happy with the accomodations. I would not hesitate to rent her apartment again. |

This is the fourth flat we have rented in Paris in the past few years and by far the best.It is bright and airy and well equipped. The rooms are all a really good size and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the RER at Port Royal that goes to Aeroport Charles de Gaulle and buses run from near the front door. The are two small supermarkets very close to the flat and a larger Franprix only just down the street. There is a boulangerie just round the corner. The Jardin de Lexembourg is just 5 mins walk and it is a great place to walk in or just watch the world go by. We were there in November and even then it is possible to find a seat and sit in the sun. Laura keeps the flat to a high standard and there is even a laptop with internet provided if you want to reach the rest of the world. |

My husband and I spent a glorious month in Paris staying at Laura’a apartment, situated next to the Luxembourg Gardens and within walking distance of the Pantheon, Montparnasse, St Germain, Jardin des Plantes, and the busy shopping areas of Blvd. Raspail and Rue de Rennes. The apartment was very spacious, quiet and complete with everything one would need. Situated on the 4th floor of an elevator building, with windows on both its north and southern exposure allowed bright sunshine to stream through the apartment on most of those balmy October afternoons. At the hint of cold, the heating system worked efficiently. We felt at home immediately, being able to cook, relax and plan our daily excursions. It felt like a real neighborhood, away from most of the tourist spots, but within close proximity to everything. We found some wonderful restaurants along Rue Saint Jacques, Blvd. Montparnasse, Rue Vavin, and round the Luxembourg Gardens. The laptop was a great addition and was useful in helping us organize our days and travel plans. The fresh food market on Blvd. Port Royal was friendly and full of seasonal fruits and veg as well as game and all kinds of cheese. There is also a wonderful boucherie just off Rue St. Jacques and Blvd. Port Royal as well as Rue Val de Grace. Laura was very helpful and unintrusive. We would definitely like to stay again! Thanks. |

Laura's apartment in Paris is such a welcome departure from staying in a hotel - especially with two 12 year olds. The apartment is clean, spacious and airy with French Doors supplying cooling breezes throughout our stay. Our children felt immediately at home and each had their own room in which to sleep.
The location is so convenient to many places of interest and yet we didn't feel crowded with tourists. There is a little grocery store around the corner that stays open late and a delicious coffee bar right across the street.
Laura is a gracious and accommodating hostess. This was the first time we chose to rent an apartment instead of a hotel and we are very happy with our choice.

My sister and I spent about 2 weeks at Laura's apartment in Paris and we highly recommend it! The apartment is large with multiple rooms including a well equipped kitchen. It is full of sunlight and has many french doors which allow for a nice cross breeze. The location is excellent. It is close to the metro stops but many sights are within walking distance. We took a stroll our first day out and with no destination in mind ended up at the Seine looking across at the Louvre. Didn't take long at all. The Latin quarter is the best. Within minutes you are in the midst of all the activity and energy of the area. Oh...having a computer to use in the apartment was really great. We didn't have to lug our own laptops or go to a cyber cafe. There are so many wonderful things about staying in an apartment. (We loved bringing home baguettes and wine.) I can't imagine staying in a hotel again. Lastly, Laura is really a wonderful person. You can be assured that you are dealing with someone who is trustworthy and honest. I hope I can go back to Paris (a fantastic city by the way) and I will definitely stay in Laura's apartment. Sincerely, Rose Mary

04/12/07 We stayed in this lovely apartment for ten beautiful days with our two boys this spring. It was spacious, clean and close to everything. Luxemburg Gardens were particularly handy for the kids to run around in.
Your next to the metro that can bring you to and from the airport as well as all over Paris. There is a grocery store steps away. The kitchen was a blessing on those days when the kids wanted just a little something.
Best of all, Laura was absolutely charming. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price. I can't wait to go back!

| Our family of four found this apartment to be perfectly located and equipped for our two week stay in Paris. Location was perfect for walking everywhere, and this area is the perfect area to stay while visiting Paris. Grocery store and bakery just around the corner, and the computer in the apartment kept us connected to everything happening back home. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to experience Parisian life. |

Perfectly located in a great neighborhood, right across from Luxembourg Gardens. Convenient to metro and bus lines, although walking is the best way to get around. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed. Many interesting restaurants in the area and a Kayser bakery on Rue d'Assas! |

We loved this very spacious, typically French apartment. Beautiful views of rooftops and window boxes with cool breezes blowing across us as we slept. The owner was very welcoming, generous and delightful.

We particularly liked the location at the southern tip of the Luxembourg Gardens. Active, convenient, but not crazy with tourists. Very close to two metro stops. Just great! |

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apt. We were a stone's throw from Luxembourg Gardens, which our girls (ages 7 and 9) just loved. Laura went out of her way to help us out (she helped retrieve our lost luggage, among other things). The apt. was clean, and the location ideal for sightseeing, and hopping on the metro. Lots of good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful week!

A wonderful place to stay in Paris. The apartment itself is very well equipped, comfortable and quite large especially for Paris. It was quite cold during our stay, but the apartment was well heated and not drafty at all.
The location is excellent, nearby the Luxembourg gardens. Although it is located on Blvd St. Michel, seemingly busy, it feels very much a residential neighborhood.
Laure is extremely helpful, which added to the enjoyment of the stay. We would recommend it without hesitation and stay there again. |

I spent 5 wonderful weeks in Paris using the apartment as my home-away-from-home. The recently refurbished apartment is light and airy with everything you could ask for. Lots of space; internet access; TV; and close proximity to shops and cafe's. Close by are a butchers, bakers and a local food store. There is even a very good English Bookstore close by!
The apartment is a short walk away from the Luxembourg Gardens. You can also reach Notre Dame and the Seine easily by walking down the Boulevard St Michel. There are many local restaurants close by on the Rue St Jaques and you are close to the Boulevard du Mantparnasse with the superb La Coupole restaurant.
If you are looking for a base in Paris and/or to live the life of a Parisian you can do no better than this apartment. A wonderful find and a place I will use again in the future. |

What a wonderful and peaceful place to stay when you are in Paris. The apartment itself is quiet, light, comfortable, bright and cool in the summer. Bathroom and kitchen very practical. We stayed over 6 weeks and it was a great location for everything we needed to do.
The location and the area are just perfect for tourist or long term stay, at the crosspoint of every direction you need to be in Paris, walking distance from Luxemburg Garden, markets places, walking distance to movies theaters, restaurants and closed to St Germain des Pres and the Sorbonne area. Besides, the RER train is just a block away takes you right away to the Int'l airport, Charles de Gaulle.
If you are addicted to your internet access, no problem the owner provides you with high speed connection without any problem.
Besides the owners are always available to answer your questions and trying to guide or help you in any way they can.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there and won't hesitate to go back.

Loved the place! If you haven't booked an apartment for a holiday stay before this is a great first choice. The size of the apartment was a wonderful surprise after the usual size of Paris hotel rooms! It is quiet, light and airy and french windows opening up on to the quiet courtyard as well as windows opening up on to a small street off Blvd Saint Michel meant that there was a cross breeze which kept the apartment cool. As well the apartment has a well equipped & modern kitchen & bathroom. My favourite feature was the balcony off the bedroom and the sitting room where you can enjoy the view of the Val du Grace Church and a wine after a day of traipsing around Paris. The location was perfect if you are arriving from either Orly Airport or Charles de Gaulle because you don't need to change lines as the RER train from the airport is direct to either Port Royal or Luxembourg (the RER line connects on to the metro system one or two stops away at St Michel on the River Seine). To cap off the stay we found Laure very inviting and friendly and yet allowed us our space. If you're thinking of staying please feel free to email me if you'd like to confirm my comments. Couldn't recommend the apartment more! |
