Me & husband Jeff and our daughter Sophia rented the cottage in July of 2007, we loved it! We have rented a couple cottages in the area before, but this one was a 10. The cottage is adorable, clean and perfect to relax in for vacation, we loved it here!! Sophia was just about to turn 2 ,and this was her introduction to "Up North" she drove the paddle boat and dug in the sand, saw her first frog, and had her first campfire here. The entire Northport area is Paradise to us!!!!! |

Dear Bill, Just to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your cottage at Northport this October. Indeed, the Fall colors just blossomed wildly before we left. So beautiful! The cottage is as charming as ever. We enjoyed the new fireplace stove in the living room very much. Again, thank you so much for sharing your lovely retreat with all of us renters. Sylvia McCullough

| The cottage was charming--lovely decorations, nice artwork, and very comfortable. Bill and Carole were very accommodating and made sure that we had a pleasant stay. We enjoyed walking to town every morning as well as having meals on the deck overlooking the bay. We were especially lucky to be there for the Fourth of July fireworks. We had a great view from the dock--seemed like a private showing! We look forward to a return visit. |

| Marilyn and I had a great, relaxing week this past June in the cottage at Lilla Cotta in Northport. It was so peaceful, looking out at the sailboats on Grand Traverse Bay from the deck, enjoying the fire on the beach in the evening, or just sitting in the cozy living room looking out the window at the water. Friday night we walked into town to listen to the concert in the park. Perfect ending. We'll be back. |

| We stayed at Lil Cotta the summer of 2006. The setting was superb and the owners made sure we had every amenity! Dishs, pot & pans, towels, sheets, etc. The decorating in this cottage just made our stay that much more delightful! We'll do it again! |

Dear Bill and Carole,
We are a family from California and we have fallen in love with your cottage and the "Up North" lifestyle.... We enjoyed paddle boat rides, bonfires, frog catching, walks, trips to Sutton's Bay, Traverse City, and lots of "lake gazing". Your home is beautiful, warm, and inviting. We look forward to coming back again. Have a wonderful winter. Thanks again.

What a relaxing spot! The first day was sunny and calm, the second clouded over by late afternoon and tried to rain. Morning of the 30th was quiet but gray. Saw the color fo the sunrise, but not the sun. We had fun exploring the Petoskey stone shop at Northport's marina, some of her other shops, as well as Sutton's Bay and Leland. Being a native Michigander now transplanted to Minnesota, I had never before seen Leland's Fishtown. Neat! The heron and swans have just arrived for their morning visit! A bonus due to the low water level, I guess. Thanks for letting us enjoy Lilla Cotta. May you and others have many years of enjoyment.
PS Visited Peterson Park and looked for Petoskey stones on the completely stoney beach. Very interesting!

Dear Bill and Carole,
What a wonderful two days! The view, the weather, and the golf were all fantastic. The offshore sailors seldom get to see this beautiful bay as they make sail though the Manitou Passage. This part of Michigan is so unique and beautiful. We wish you many years of peace and health here. The dock is now cleaned of what the sea gulls left. I hope to come back and do it again. Best wishes and thank you.

Thank you for the welcoming wine package. We toasted to you! The first couple of days were filled with sunshine and fun. We canoed, paddle boated, and sunbathed - it was great. The rain came but we would not go quietly. We went shopping in Traverse, Suttons Bay, and Leland - a great time. This is a wonderful place and your cottage was great! (Jeff) You have a beautiful cottage. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope we can come back again next year (Patricia)
