We are so happy to have found your lovely home and so lucky you helped save our trip as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. The condo and staff were wonderful. The island is still truly paradise and still unspoiled. We kayaked, hiked, swam, snorkeled and fell in love with Hanalei and the north shore. But the views and sound of the waves from #201 helped us sleep, unwind, and relax. Thank you so much, we will recommend you to our friends.

Once again the condo was perfect! The couch bed was perfect for Dylan - TV, snacks, view, waves, until he crashed each night (I was hoping that the Seashell Restaurant would be imploded by now but...)
Dylan loved his scuba trips and we both enjoyed sightseeing the whole island from Polihale to Ke'e. We enjoyed the overcast day at Waimea Canyon. The ATV's were awesome! Dylan also zipped and was overwhelmed.
I will definitely be back with a friend, my hubby, or another grandkid. Thanks Kevin and your family too. It was VERY quiet here.
Aloha, Connie

| This was our 3 time to the island and 5th time to Hawaii. We stayed for a little over a month. The condo was perfect and very convenient. Everything was clean, neat and anything you can think of for housekeeping/cooking/ etc is available for you. The grounds are very well groomed. We hope to be back. |

We had another great time - the coolest we ever had, but it wasn't snow! The men in our group play golf three or four times a week. We love the Wine Dinner fund raiser they have each year. We won the bid for the Allerton Gardens Sunset Tour which includes the house - the first time in 25 years it's been open. The sunset whale watching trip was good as usual - 27 from our condo went. Enjoyed our usual favorite restaurants including Wahoo's, Duke's & Hukilau Lanai. Had a disappointing experience at Scotty's. There were 12 of us and after waiting over an hour, they told us they ran out of ribs. Were disappointed to see Hula Girl and Coconuts closed. Loved Trees. Hope to return next year for eight weeks. Love everything about the condo but the remains of the Seashell Restaurant. Each year we return we hope it will be gone.

We had a wonderful time! October really is a great time to visit Kauai. We had a fun tour of Na Pali and Ni'ihau with snorkeling onboard the fast catamaran from Holo Holo Charters. The weather was great and we had a group of dolphins join our boat off the Na Pali coast. Kayaking up the Wailua River and then hiking to Secret Falls was also a highlight. We also visited the swimming hole and Fern Grotto via our kayak. The eight mile round-trip hike along the Na Pali coast on the Kalalau trail to Hanakapi'ai beach and then to Hanakapi'ai Falls was tough, but worth the six hours of hiking.
Waimea Canyon was beautiful and the hike to Waipao Falls was breathtaking. Loved snorkeling at Ke'e Beach & Poipu. Yummy shave ice at JoJo's and great shrimp at the Shrimp Station. Scotty's Beachside BBQ was fabulous.
Beautiful condo with great amenities and extras. Hope to stay here again!

Thanks for providing us an awesome home base as we adventured around the island. We went skydiving and were able to take in all of the wonderful views of the island from 10,000 feet above! We were so pleased with our stay and couldn't believe all of the special extras that your home provided. What a wonderful experience! Mahalo!

Thanks so much for sharing your home! We had a wonderful time from the Pihea Vista overlooking the Na Pali coast to Ke'e beach and everything in between. The lighthouse at Kilauea was breathtaking and we enjoyed snorkeling at Anini Beach. Scotty's for barbeque was wonderful and we even enjoyed garlic shrimp at a roadside stand near the Spouting Horn in Koloa. Your home is fabulous with all amenities provided. We'd like to come back for whale watching and highly recommend #201 to all! Aloha and Mahalo.

This is Daniel and my second trip to Kauai. We honeymooned here and came back for our 4th anniversary. We decided to bring our best friends that live on Oahu and show them "our" island. As usual, Kauai didn't disappoint us. The weather was amazing and the views even more breathtaking than we remember. We have now spent 17 days total here and still have not seen all the amazing things this island has to offer. We are already planning our next trip and next time plan to introduce this amazing place with our kids. We can't wait. Thank you for such an amazing place to stay. Your love and pride for your home shows in all the little extras you provide. Thank you!
We highly recommend Oki Diner for pancakes, and Scotty's was amazing for BBQ (got two meals out of it!). The Na Pali Coast tour is something everyone should see in their lifetime, and the Waimea Canyon drive is truly nature at it's finest. Thank you again, can't wait to get back to Paradise!

This is our fourth trip to Hawaii (Kauai), our second stay at Wailua Bay View #201. Your condo is so clean and comfortable, it is more like staying at a friends house instead of a rental. Very, very nice! We would never stay any place other than here on Kauai. Hope to be back sometime soon! Mahalo & Aloha.

This was our first trip to Hawaii, it was a beautiful place to have our wedding. The condo has just been wonderful. Very quiet and a place to call home while we have been here. Everything has been so convenient to downtown and also very comfortable. The island has so many beautiful places to see and so many activities to do. This is definitely a place we will visit again. The condo has just been great. Thank You.

Aloha,
We have had a wonderful time. The view is so beautiful from the condo and lanai. While we were here just relaxing one quiet morning, we spotted a pod of dolphins swimming and feeding just in the bay. They hung around for about three hours. Island Tours Helicopters took us to see the waterfalls, and into the crater, which was awesome. Mahalo for all the extras in the condo, we felt as if we were at home. Thanks!

Our 2nd trip to Kauai was as good as the first. We recommend "Wings Over Kauai", very relaxing and the views were great! As favorable as our helicopter tour 2 years ago, and much less expensive. Also, did plenty of hiking - Kalalau, Awa-Awapuhi, Canyon Trail, Maha'ulepu, Pihea Trail (vista was clouded and never cleared). The condo was great, traffic noise was minimal, well stocked. We hope to return...again and again...

Kevin,
We left comments in the guest book in the condo, but wanted to thank you again for keeping such a wonderful condo. This being our second time, it seemed even more like home. Our kids were older and enjoyed the boogie boards more this time. The condo once again had everything we could need, beautifully decorated, quiet and clean. We practically had the pool to ourselves! We plan on making this a regular vacation destination (every 3 years is about our speed). We hope you keep offering this condo for years to come. Thanks again! |

We did the Wings Over Kauai air tour which we would highly recommend. There are many friends at home wanting to know how out trip was because they also want to come. We will highly recommend #201.
Thanks for a great adventure!

Our first time to Hawaii - had a wonderful 5-year anniversary vacation. The condo is great - has everything we need and then some!
Wailua Family Restaurant is nice for breakfast (banana pancakes - yum!). Had a blast on the Kipu Ranch ATV trip, and we attempted the "Secret Tunnels" hike described in the Ultimate Kauai Guide - started too late in the day and did not make it - six hours of jungle / mud hiking.
Foodland in Kapa'a has wonderful fresh fish - try the Hawaiian Butter Fish. We cooked it in garlic butter - awesome with a Mai Tai.
We will be back!!

Our expectations of a perfect time on a perfect island and a perfect condo were all met. We did just about everything except long hikes in the "Ultimate Guide". Our favorite was the Liko Kauai Na Pali cruise - saw at least 50 whales, went clear to Ke'e Beach and also saw 3 types of dolphin. Spent the afternoon napping after that trip. We were prepared to spend much more on gas & meals, so were happy with the prices.
Told Josie how incredibly clean and neat the condo was. We'll be back, so will our friends & kids & grandkids!

Enjoyed our stay here again. Loved the new TV's (both). Had our Super Bowl party here. Your kitchen is the most well equipped of any we've stayed in. We had wonderful weather and never needed any air-conditioning. We now have a group of 20 that has cocktails every evening at the pool at 5pm. Freddy and Josie are gems and very helpful.
This year we enjoyed our favorite spots like Caffe Coco and Dukes. We added Trees and the Waipouli Resort Grill. The Blue Dolphin boat trip had 24 people from Wailua Bay View and Smith's Luau had 29 from here. Loved the book about the Coco Palms Hotel.

Our first week we had the Kona winds with lots of rain. Winds one night gusted up to 60 mph. Tradewinds arrived over the weekend. The rain never spoiled a thing for us. We both loved Kauai and especially the warm weather. The "Ultimate Guide" was our Bible and it never steered us wrong.
Your condo felt just like home after our days exploring the island. We also liked your info packet. I will miss watching the cruise ships coming & going each day. The two of us will leave here with many great memories.

We stayed in the condo in early November and really enjoyed our time in Kauai and the condo. Having rented other condos online, I must say I was impressed with the organization of our rental. The timely emails and great information package prior to leaving definitely relieved any pre-trip stress. The condo had everything a visitor could want for a stay on the island (appreciated the blender, beach mats, umbrella and Kauai guidebook). The location was excellent for getting around the island. If we are lucky enough to make it back, I would definitely come back. Thanks! |

Aloha! Here to visit family & see the island - what a nice place to stay while visiting!
Day trip to Pearl Harbor, boat trip of the Na Pali coast, Lydgate Park, luau last night - just too much to do, too little time! Lots of time with family who really showed us a good time.
See John McGarry at Safeway and tell him you read this. If you're looking to book any tours, luau's, etc, John's wife, Kai can help you out.
We'll be back and will stay here again if we can.

Beautiful condo! So relaxing and welcoming. We had everything we needed and then some (even when a power line across the street broke & we lost power for an hour or so, we had candles and a flashlight!). We also really appreciated the beach toys - we used them every day and had lots of fun.
Our favorite beach was Tunnels - so beautiful and great snorkeling - go early to get parking. A close second was Moloa'a beach - beautiful and not many people. We also went to Poipu Beach Park. Not as pretty as the North, but we did get to see two Monk seals and a sea turtle sunning on the beach.
If you're wanting to deep sea fish, Captain Don's is the way to go. Dan and Tyler went on a half-day trip and had a great time! He was an entertaining captain and let us keep all the fish we could eat in the time we had left. We would definitely go out with him again.
We also enjoyed Scotty's BBQ (the pulled pork & the view) and Eggbert's pancakes (banana - yum, yum!). Don't forget the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook - a must have. He's right about those apple turnovers from Kauai Bakery.
Thanks Wilson family for the use of your beautiful condo. We would love to come back!

We had such a great time on Kauai, we hate to leave. The condo is great! It was so nice to have a place to rest after our long days of exploring on the island. We really enjoyed coming back to the pool at 3:30 to refresh before we went out again.
Our first full day on the island was spent looking for waterfalls - Opaeka'a Falls, Wailua Falls and Kipu Falls. We hiked each one which was fun.
I think our favorite beach was the Secret Beach / lava pools. We went to Queen's Bath early and we were the second couple there - loved it! Dinner at the Beach House was the best food we had on the island. We could not get in at sunset, but enjoyed it at night.
We are off to Maui for a few days. We look forward to coming back to Kauai, still so much we have not seen. Jeff loved the plate lunch at L & L and we had a blast at Kauai ATV tour - very dirty.
Thank You!

A much needed get away, and it is PARADISE. The Hawaii I've been looking for - lush, lush, lush and crashing warm waves - lush, lush, lush.
The condo is better than I imagined - so grateful for all your beautiful decor and lanai treasures for the beach and water! Brought tears to my eyes as we first walked out on the lanai (JOY!).
We've traveled and done so much and really can't pick a favorite - all very special - canyon, kayak tours, waterfalls & pool swimming, body surfing, Poipu snorkeling, Puka Dogs, Brennecke's mango daquiri, Na Pali Coast - hike at end of North shore, Smith's Luau, neat Zodiac snorkle cruise today. Two days left - so sad.
We've met Linda & Richard (Dick), owners of 312 - delightful, as our neighbors have been fun too! You are very blessed to own this condo & blessed for sharing your things. We are delighted with the location and comforts & more of home. Mahalo!
PS - possibly some find of first-aid kit available - just an idea.
PPS - So fabulous to have music while dining! Mahalo!

Wow! What a find! This place is great. We loved the location and the beautiful views. We appreciate all of the helpful advice you sent us and how clean the condo is. We lacked nothing...just like home. We will certainly be back. The island of Kauai is by far the most beautiful of the Hawaiian islands. This is the 4th. of the islands we have visited in the last three weeks, and are seriously considering buying a place of our own here.
Queen's Bath was beautiful. We spent a day on a safari which started with a 2 1/2 mile kayak, a 2 mile hike, followed by a 4x4 ride up the side of a steep climb where we enjoyed a zipline flight through the top of the rainforest to a natural swimming hole where we dove off a cliff....it was out of this world FUN !!
A tour of the Na Pali Coast is a MUST DO. We do recommend you take the time to drive the entire island. We did and were instantly in love with the natives.
Thank you for letting us rent your place.

Stayed 6 nites in the north and 4 nites at this condo. Here for our 32nd. anniversary! We're 53 years young!
Things we've done:
Hiked 2 miles of Kalalau Trail to Hanakapiai beach. Strenuous, but well worth it. Snorkeled Ke'e beach, Tunnels, Sealodge beach, Queen's Bath, Hideaways. Went to Kilauea Lighthouse, Limahuli Gardens, kayaked up Hanalei River till shallow water prevented us from going further (saw two turtles sunning). Kayaked down to Hanalei Bay to the ocean, then to Hideaways beach. Ate special dinner at Bali Hai restaurant at Hanalei Bay Resort - best for sunset $$$
Took a helicopter tour - awesome - yes we were concerned! Did a lot of sightseeing (too numerous to mention). Yesterday went on a Zodiac raft to Na Pali Coast on Na Pali Riders during "Flossie". Wow - a wild adventure - tough to hold on and endure the smacking of the raft over the swells - yeah, we were sore the next day.
Saw Salt Ponds & Spouting Horn after. Also went to Polihale beach - 5 miles of 5 miles per hour. Today went tubing with Back Country Adventures - fun & relaxing - just what we needed. Came back to the condo & had a tsunami warning issued (Peru had five earthquakes) - later cancelled. Going to Waimea Canyon tomorrow & more sightseeing. We leave the next day.
Next time we will have a leisure time since we saw/did everything. This condo feels like home. Thanks to the Wilson's. We'd recommend it! God Bless!

Awesome condo....nothing we needed was lacking and we found much more than expected for our use!
Kevin explained what we thought was the Menehune, with the hot dryer. Seems the vents connect and the dryer wasn't (as we thought) being used while we were gone after all.
Highlights for me:
-Secluded cove (see guidebook p.108), just another 10 min. walk/hike past Donkey Beach (p.107)
-Smith's luau & Fern Grotto (buy the DVD - don't try to film the luau)
-Anini Beach (north shore) - crowds at Tunnels - took a "local" recommendation.
-Poipu Beach Park (awesome snorkeling - good enough for younguns!)
Much too short a time here on Kauai. Envied those we talked to who stayed two weeks....next time we'll know!
P.S. - BBQ by the pool at night = awesome!

Nicely remodeled with cool island colors, the bed is soooo comfy, and the beach is just a few stair steps below you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, quality everything. Wow, Kauai is such a paradise! The great thing about this island is that everywhere you go it doesn't take that long to get there. My favorite beach is just north of Kapaa. If you head north you can't miss is - the waves are bigger, so make sure your swimming skills are up to par. Some of the best views are in Waimea Canyon. Also, north shore has some pretty good sights as well. What am I talking about, the whole island is beautiful.
The condo is in the perfect location. I would definitely return to this condo on my next vacation to Kauai.

Kauai is a truly beautiful island and we really enjoyed staying in Unit 201.
We had a comfortable stay and it was the best-equipped and most well-stocked rental condo we have stayed in to date.
Beach chairs, mats, snorkels, beach toys, boogie boards, rafts and coolers were all available. And, the abundance of linens, towels, beach towels, kitchen equipment, etc. was great.
Just follow the Ultimate Kauai Guide (also available in the unit)and you won't miss a thing.
Favorite beaches: Ke'e, Hanalei, Annini (past the campsite), Maha'ulepu (sooo worth the effort), and our daughter LOVED Lydgate Park which is just 5 minutes away. Also, we swam with two young sea turtles at Poipu Beach.
Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast are awesome. There are just too many great things to list them all. When we return (and we will), this condo is where we will stay. |

This is our second trip to Kauai, and the island's beauty is forever changing. We didn't repeat any sights this time around and already have our 3rd trip planned. The condo felt like home. Very down to earth atmosphere - not too "froo-froo"! Just right!! And good views. Although we only spent from 9pm-10am here in the unit (we made sure our time here was well spent exploring) the time we did spend was just wonderful.
I'm jealous...to have a place of your own, to return to this "paradise lost" as you please. My goal by 30 will be to have at least one trip each year or get a time-share, because I get depressed each time we pack up to head out!
*Some Helpful Tips*
Stick to the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook in the unit. We have used our own, but this guy knows his stuff - all the hidden goodies revealed!
Although we haven't seen 1/3 of what the island has to "reveal" and explore, these are our top five choices, comprised over our past two visits (June '05 & '07)(make sure you bring your walking shoes!!):
1) Tunnels (scenic & underwater marvels)(p.97 Ultimate Kauai Guidebook). 2) Maha'ulepu beaches (p.110) BEAUTIFUL 3) Polihale (p.116) Great view & sun (need 4wd) 4) Waimea Canyon & Pu'u O Kila lookout (Kalalau lookout) 5) Ocean tour / catamaran the "Grand" Na Pali Coast (breathtaking)
Anini has great swimming waters too!
This is heaven on earth and I am sad to leave, but will return to take on the Kalalau Trail June '08!!

We both thoroughly enjoyed coming home to this lovely condo - very nicely done, simple, well planned & lovely. Mahalo!
We are geocachers and had ample opportunity to cache on this island. We completed 3 caches which took us to Sleeping Giant, Old Koloa Sugar Mill & Monument, and Poipu Beach.
Enjoyed Na Pali Coast boat tour, sites, people, and lots of hiking. Great hiking! Each hike we went on had their own uniqueness. From the thrill of the Kalalau Trail to mature pine forest (and bamboo) on Sleeping Giant, to the awe inspiring views of Waimea Canyon.
As many things as we did, there is much, much more to do. I hope to return one day! Thanks for the nice extras like umbrellas, binoculars, beach towels and snorkel gear. Much appreciated! You know it's been a good vacation when you can't figure out where your watch is!

What a beautiful island! This is our first trip to Hawaii, and we are already planning a trip back.
We had great vegetarian food at Blossoming Lotus in Kapaa. We also did a Kayak trip up the Wailua River & hiked to the falls. We used the outfit at the Shell station and they took good care of us. There were lots more things that interested us, but we reminded ourselves we were here to RELAX!
Thanks for the beach gear, towels, etc. Our family used them a lot, as well as the kitchen & laundry. The condo fit our needs perfectly (except for the squeaky dryer). Mahalo!

Aloha! We had a great time. The condo is very nice and has a tremendous view. Traffic noise was a little problem, but closing the bedroom windows completely resolved this.
The food at the Korean barbeque was a good value. We particularly liked Gaylord's Restaurant.
The beach was very nice. Kauai is particularly beautiful. Waimea Canyon and the north shore was beautiful. Thanks so much!
P.S. We loved Scotty's Beachside BBQ - enough food for 2 meals. If you get seasick, avoid the Na Pali coast boat tours - beautiful scenery, but very rough waters!

We had a wonderful spring break staying in your condo! The beach in front of the condo was perfect for trying out the boogie boards! The weather was perfect and the room had everything we needed. Scotty's for dinner was great, as was Smith's Luau and the Helicopter tour through Jack Harter. Polihale beach was our favorite. The road noise didn't bother us a bit - just close the windows in the bedroom when sleeping and you can't even hear it! Thanks so much! We can't wait to come back!!

Aloha! We love Kauai - great hiking, golf, and happy hour! The weather is varied, so don't wait for the sun to get out and do stuff - explore this beautiful island, and for a great time head down to Hula Girl in the Coconut Marketplace for dinner, then to Tradewinds for some drinks and karaoke.
The condo is so great - everything we needed! Thanks for all the extras in the kitchen & laundry. We definitely want to come back again and bring some friends. Mahalo!

This is our 10th. time to Kauai and our second stay in #201. The first was in 2002 before it was re-done. What a great job you did fixing it up. We hope to return next year for 7 weeks. There are 4 couples from NJ who travel together and stay here.
Restaurants we like are: Hukilau Lanai and Duke's. Scotty's is good but only for BBQ. We like the Hula Girl and Cafe Coco for music. This year our beach was fine and we love Maha'ulepu. The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook tells it all. This has been the best weather in 7 years. We appreciate all the extras you provided.

Kauai is beautiful. Definitely the prettiest of the islands. The condo is very nice. Felt like home away from home. We utilized all the amenities and enjoyed the convenience to the Marketplace and the golf course. Great breakfast at Olympic Cafe. Weather was a little rainy, but we survived. Used the grills twice and saw some whales from the lanai.
We hear that the County is taking care of the damaged restaurant and Coco Palms. That will be a plus for you.
Thanks again Kevin for your hospitality and your pleasant e-mails and help.

Wonderful location. Your place is beautiful and well kept. The location was extremely convenient - delicious restaurants all right across the street - good Mexican (Monicos), Korean BBQ, Kintaros, and Wailua Family Restaurant. Wailua is really close to Kapa'a (which has everything you could want) and Lihue (airport, Costco, Walmart, etc).
Loved listening to the waves - kept sliding glass door open at night. Beach access great - beautiful view. Only problem - traffic noise (steel plate on main highway). Other than that, you have set up the condo with all the other comforts (internet access, DVD, cable TV, washer/dryer, microwave ). Had a great vacation - would definitely come back to #201. Thank you and Mahalo.

Thanks for a great week. The condo was perfect for us. We loved having the wi-fi for our laptop, and everything we needed was here. It was close to my work, but also Gerry was able to do lots of kayaking. We enjoyed the Smith's Family luau, and the National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Found several new-to-us restaurants - Olympic Cafe and Cafe Coco. We would definitely come here again! Thanks.
P.S. We missed a big PNW snow and ice week - felt smug!!

We enjoyed our stay and loved this island. The "Smith Family" luau and show was great (we were disappointed with the food at most of the eating establishments around here). We enjoyed this condo and nice furnishings etc, we appreciated the washer/dryer (and Spray & Wash!), and the A/C. It's a shame that the owners of the eyesore old restaurant next door are allowed to let their abandoned building rot away. It seems that there should be a city ordinance against that. Kauai is beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful. Mahalo. ------------------------------------------------------------ Owner's Note: The Seashell restaurant and Coco Palms Hotel across the road(where Elvis filmed much of Blue Hawaii) have been closed since hurricane Iniki in 1992. It truly is a shame that the County has let it remain in it's state of disrepair for so long. There have been several attempts over the years to renovate the properties, although none have proved successful for whatever reason. Also, Native Hawaiian groups have opposed development of the properties due to the presence of sacred burial grounds and ancient artifacts. It now appears that construction may finally get under way sometime in early 2007. We are as anxious as anyone to finally have the eyesores removed and the Coco Palms restored to its original splendor! ------------------------------------------------------------

We have enjoyed our stay here in Paradise. Kauai truly demonstrates the meaning of Aloha! Our favorite beach was Ke'e - lots of snorkeling in crystal clear water and the view from the water of the mountains was awesome!! The Smith's luau was by far the best we've been to, not to mention our meal at Roy's. If you like chocolate, you must try their chocolate souffle!! Thanks for sharing your condo, was a great vacation and now we must say "Mahalo and Aloha".

We enjoyed our stay in your condo, very comfortable. This was our third time on your island and this room was the best by far. Kauai is beautiful but the food "sucks". Norberts Mexican needs to hire a real Mexican that knows how to cook. Twenty-five dollars for two bland burritos (Taco Bell is better). We love Kauai, but the dining out needs a lot of improvement.

Hello and thank you Kevin. We had a wonderful time! What a beautiful condo, you really have thought of everything! Much more thought has gone into yours than the one's we've stayed at on Maui!
The island - it's so lush and beautiful, green everywhere (we come from the desert).
Our faves - restaurants 1) Wailua Marina Restaurant - very quiet and peaceful. Good Mai Tai's. 2) Hukilau Lanai - very much what you dream of Hawaii to be! Great setting, food Ok! Overpriced for chicken. Go for the ambience. 3) Dukes Barefoot Bar - Excellent Mahi-Mahi and "Wrong Island Ice Tea" !!
Adventures: 1) Movie Tour - They pick you up here, it takes six hours, you see all the sights of movies filmed on the island. You go to Hanalei, Anini Beach, Gilligan's Island. It was fun! 2) Waimea Canyon - Beautiful drive - unbelievable that canyon is on this island. 3) Haena Beach - go early! End of road, Hanalei. 4) Poipu - Sun, Sun!
Aloha! Thanks again!

Great condo, we enjoyed staying here. All of the extra touches and thoughtfulness go a long way - keep it up! Kauai is an amazing place and we'll be back for sure!
The Na Pali hike is a must - don't miss it. Also, as a note to future guests, please do not follow the suggestions in this book to feed the fish with frozen peas, etc. It makes them dependent on man and messes up their digestive systems, leaving a murky mess in the water! Also, sunscreen kills coral so if you're snorkeling, wear a t-shirt/shorts instead of sunscreen so that the coral isn't killed. Sorry for the lecture, but this is important!

Your condo is lovely - if only the weather had been half as nice! Lots of rain, gray skies and gray water. Still, we enjoyed a sunny beach day at Poipu, some lovely hiking in Kokee State Park (canyon trail) and an abbreviated trek up the Kalalau Trail. On Sunday we attended church at the Hanalei Wai'oli Hui'ia church, where services are conducted in Hawaiian and English. A real pleasure.
Well, even if the weather hasn't been ideal, it's still been warmer and nicer than what awaits us back home. Thank you for sharing your well-situated and fully equipped home.

Only a few nights left on the island, hopefully the rain clears up.

We slept with the sound of the surf each night on the living room floor - can't do this at home! I learned to snorkel at Ke'e beach - the north of Kauai is so beautiful. Your condo has it all - we only had time to use 1/4 of the stuff as our quest was to see the entire island. The smell of plumeria here is so pleasant. We ate at the Hula Girl for my birthday and got a free lei, but the food portions are tiny. Kauai products fair is very nice - got lots of stuff to take home to remember our short week here in paradise!

Great place. We loved the room, the view and the beaches, especially Ke'e and Tunnels - great for snorkeling. Don't forget the frozen peas and underwater camera, and get there early for parking - before 8am! Kipu falls is great, but hard to find (use the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook). Wailua Falls is also a good place to find local crafts - hat, fish, and flower made out of coconut leaves, seashell jewelry - inexpensive. The Beach House is great for viewing sunset - food is OK. Best local food is Mark's Place (see page 214 in the guidebook). The beach next to the condo is great for fishing. Saw a couple of local guys caught a Mahi-Mahi and a big silver fish about 15-20 lbs each.

We loved everything, the room, ocean view, lanai, TV, everything very neat and clean. We feel right at home. We enjoyed the ocean as much as the greenery of this beautiful island. We had a fantastic time. We look forward to coming back again. It's been great..... Mahalo, The "Fabre"

Love da fruit - eat off the trees & stop at tiny fruit stands across the isla. Enjoy the baby bananas, the guavas, papayas, lilikoi & pinas! Make sure you have the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. Enjoy coffee & delicious muffins at Java Kai. The best Hawaiian style jewelry at Lana's near Kountry Kitchen! Kipu Falls is tons of fun - Indiana Jones Style. Tunnels Beach has great snorkeling - take frozen peas to the fish - they will love you! Don't forget your underwater cam. Most important - get out of the rental car and hike - GET BUG SPRAY! Get Noni juice - best smoothies are in a small shack going north! The Best! The Barefoot Cafe is really good! - in Coconut Marketplace. P.S. Note guava tree by hose area - yum! Mahalo

Aloha, Great rooms & building, well decorated & landscaped. We loved view and surf in morning/evening. We explored island, Kipu Falls, north shore, Kilauea Lighthouse, Hanalei, Lumahai beach, Waimea Canyon & a fantastic Na Pali catamaran tour - a must on south end. Enjoyed many beaches and great restaurants - Beach House at sunset. Kauai is a wonderful paradise & we hope to return again. The Muellers. Mahalo.

Loved the room! Great view & loved the sound of the crashing waves, stars at night, smell of the salt in the morning. Kipu falls is a must. You have to attend the Smith's luau down the road on the Wailua river, Ke'e beach on the Na Pali coast, Hanalei bay at sunset. Duke's on Kalapaki beach is nice at night. Hula Girl at Coco Palm Plaza down the street (north) is very tasty. Take your time and don't forget to explore inland Waimea Canyon & Keahua Arboretum.

Best honeymoon ever! Loved hearing the ocean from our room. Great location. Our best meal was watching the sunset at the Beach House. We spent most of our time hiking. I think we need a vacation from our vacation!

We were in 203 while your condo was being renovated - actually my husband visited many times to see the progress. It is beautiful - wish we could stay here longer (only 3 days in 201). We love Kauai and have already booked for next year. We had breakfast at the community college, prepared by the culinary department, played lots of golf (the county course is great - very long), and did our share of snorkeling. Can't wait until next year! P.S. We love Coconuts (especially the Ono) Oh yes - the sunset cruise (Blue Dolphin) was fabulous.
