Comment Text: We were very fortunate, to be able
to call this wonderful Auberge in Aubais, our
"home",for the month of September 2007.
Initially we were concerned that since there were
only the two of us, that we might feel lost in a
house that that could easily accommodate a dozen
people. Not to worry. The layout, and decor of this
home gives you a complete feeling of coziness no
matter which room you are in. And on top of this
the location of Aubais makes this village the perfect
base to roam throughout Languedoc, or the
western regions of Provence.
A big thank you to Michelle and Marek Kacki for
this great property and a special thanks to Wendy,
the property manager for all her help.

The the Kacki Family,
We have enjoyed our one month stay in your house and your village more than we can stay. From the moment we were wowed by the village on our approach, to the exclamations of glee as explored the house, we have been surprised and thrilled. We toured the area quite a bit but were always happiest staying in Aubais and relaxing in your comfortable house. My nephew called it a castle and is crying to come back now that he is back in Germany. The people in Aubais have been wonderful and the food competes with Arles, Aix en Provence and all the rest. THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. We are happy, rested and ready to come back. All the best!

I can say this home is unique b/c it is occupied by the owners 9 months out of the year. Much care and consideration has gone into the comforts and atmosphere of this home to make this a fresh, inviting and comfortable environment, American style. We think it is welcoming and an added plus to be able to host friends a family while maintaining your independance b/c one can walk to your every necessity w/o getting into a car (VERY refreshing for an American!) There are wonderfully interesting things to do and see by only going as short as 10,15, 30 minutes in any direction. We have 3 small children ourselves so the house welcomes children. Our house manager is English and ooozes with hospitality, she is a welcome greeter at your front door to show you around. It is important to us that if you choose to spend your precious vacation with us, we will do our best to make it special for you so that you will want to come back!

You were so right Shelly, this is much nicer than the Luberon. We went on a couple of day trips to more “touristy regions” and escaped happily back to this absolute haven.
