| This is a great place to stay if you want to be just outside of town. We enjoyed our stay here for the 2nd time. Located just 30 minutes from Dillard is nice too so you can visit the Dillard House! If you stay here you can see everything there is to offer in Northern Georgia. Cabin has very comfortable furniture and all the things you are looking for. The owners go the extra mile to make you feel like you are home. They are very helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a BLAST! Thanks!!!! |

Hi Sherri, I'm Gina Hayes' older sister Lori and was invited to accompany them on their trip to Hiawassee these past 4 days. I've spent a lot of summer time up in Brevard and Highlands N.C. growing up. Our parents had a log cabin on Lake Glennville, so we grew up enjoying the area. Your place was AWESOME Sherri, your decorations were so welcoming and warming when we opened the door on our arrival we knew we were going to enjoy our stay, we felt right at home. I stayed downstairs and enjoyed the fuzzy sheets...Your kitchen is well stocked ....I made a big pot of Chili that for some reason tasted much better in the mountains than at home.... go figure? When I opened the closet you store your entertainment in, my heart was blessed. What a true mirror of your walk with Jesus Christ.....I was witnessed to by your choice of reading and viewing materials and wanted you to know how I was lifted up . Thank you. Sherri, Just wanted to let you know I just got back from the cabin 30 minutes ago. We had a fabulous time! You did an awesome job decorating and making the place cozy, christmassy and Christlike. Oh, the sheets were a hit. Now my mom wants them. Well, the family awaits. Thanks, Dana Judge

What a fun time we had! The cabin is beautifully done, and has so many nice touches! We love the art-we are especially fond of eagles! We appreciated the fact that it was so well stocked with spices..etc. We could have cooked to our heart's content. We enjoyed the hot tub and really liked napping on the front porch swing! Thanks so much; everything was lovely!

Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our week riding the train in Blue Ridge, whitewater rafting, tubing, visiting the Cabbage Patch Doll Hospital and the American Girl Store! However, the best part was just relaxing in the peace and quiet of Eagles Wings Hideaway!

What a blessing to stay in this beautiful cabin in the mountains. "The Heavens declare the glory of God"! Your cabin is filled with Christian accents and books and videos! We wish we had more time to read and view all of them. The weather was clear with low humidity, not like Florida, and was brilliant with stars!! My daughter, Pam, and I loved your dishes. It was great to have a fully stocked kitchen. The men loved the big screen TV! We went trout fishing, boating on the Lake Chatuge, visited the honey bee farm, ate lunch at the Biven Resort(Copperhead), it is brand new, shopped at the Cross Stitch store, Christmas shop, statuary, bicycle shop, Ingles grocery store and many others. We also visited Tallulah Gorge. I would have to say the pontoon boat was the best and then the worst when we ran aground! but, lucky for us, only the propeller was damaged so it did not cost thousands. The hot tub was great for sore muscles. We thought the round table with the "lazy susan" server was great. It was relaxing to sit on the top back porch and see God's handywork, it is breathtaking to drive through the mountains. My husband's life verse is Isaiah 40:31 so he loved the Eagle up on the plant shelf alot! Most of all it was a rest from the world, the scripture says "There remains a rest for the people of God..." Hebrews 4:9 May the Lord bless you and keep you. Numbers 6:24-26

This was just what the doctor ordered. A perfect mountain getaway. Jason and i loved the tranquil setting Eagles Hideaway offers. We spent the first day on the back deck reading. The following day we visited Crane Creek Vineyard. We loved the vineyard! The last full day we hiked up Brasstown Bald- what a fantastic 365* view! We love the charming Hiawassee town and considering the fact we went to Ingles grocery every day we made great friends with the produce manager! Jason and I loved the wonderful place!
