| We were very pleased with your home. The house was very well decorated and furnished. We had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with our family. The kitchen was great for preparing meals as well as the grill. We had every dinner on the patio while enjoying the outside fireplace. We would highly recommend Trout House Falls for a very private and peaceful vacation. |

| When I walked in the door, I felt like I was at home. It was so cozy and the decor was outstanding with amazing attention to detail. Every amenity was provided, a nice change from most rentals. Every night was spent cooking and eating dinner by the outside fireplace, making it a very romantic getaway. The owner and Ada; the housekeeper, could not have been any nicer or more accomodating. I would highly recommend escaping to this beautiful mountain hideaway!! |

What an amazing vacation. We spent a long weekend at "The Home" and words can not describe the adventures we had. Exploring waterfalls, trails, dinner and shopping in Brevard were just a few of things we enjoyed. "The Home" is a "five star" cabin. Nestled in the most beautiful setting. Definitely one of the best vacations we've had in the North Carolina Mountains. I highly recommend a visit!! Hopefully, we'll be back soon! |

| My family stayed for a week at the Streamside Home. The house was beautiful - cozy and luxurious. We ate dinner every night on the stone patio with a fire going, you couldn't get any better in a 5 star restaurant. My sons played in the stream for hours. I'm looking forward to our next visit back. |

| Our family just returned from a long weekend at the Streamside cottage. The moment we walked in the door we were completely overwhelmed with the ambiance, comfort and beauty of the home and the grounds. We spent alot of time on the deck grilling, eating and talking. It was so nice to have our kids playing in the stream, finding crawfish and salamanders, and collecting skipping stones. We will try to return here every chance we get. |

| We had a wonderful week this July at Trout House Falls. It was a great escape from the summer heat in Florida. Our 2 year old son spent hours playing the creek. Our six year old spent everyday reading in the window seat upstairs. We cannot wait to visit again! |

We particularly enjoyed the early mornings sipping coffee on the front porch. The steady gurgling of the stream, the birds chirping, and the fresh mountain air made for a peaceful and relaxing vacation time. Thanks so much for sharing "the little housein the woods" as our 3 year old called it. What a beautiful home being both cozy, comfortable and luxurious at the same time. We loved playing in the stream, rearranging the rocks, picking blackberries every night on our hikes, having picnics on the outside table by the outdoors fireplace and listening to the brook while we laid in bed. It was great to be so chilly in the morning so that we could have a fire to enjoy our breakfast by. Thanks so much for a peaceful relaxing family vacation,

| We can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy just being together as a family. Even though we hiked, rode horses, went tubing and slid down sliding rock, it was always hard to leave our perfect cabin. This was truly one of the best times we've ever had together. We loved everything about our time there! Thank you again! Until next time ... |

| Who would ever dream that an internet search would uncover such a wonderful, pleasant, secluded vacation retreat for 3 generations to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary!!! Truly a diamond in the rough...thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and supplied, yet tucked away in the beauty of the NC mountains. Thanks for all your attention to detail and truly making this a relaxing home away from home! Would love to come back again. |

| The end of the road privacy, and surrounding woods created a wonderful backdrop for a relaxing birthday weekend with my wife, Claire. The property (houses, meadow, creek, etc.) are very well kept and we look forward to our return. |

We relocated to North Carolina this summer from New England; our ten year old son has missed the mountains and associated outdoor hiking and waterfalls. He spent hours in the stream by the house and we hiked to the area waterfalls. The house itself is breathtakingly beautiful with myriad thoughtful interior touches. |

Trout House Falls was an absolute pleasure. Unlike a lot of rentals, this home felt like our home for a long weekend with freinds. We came for a Wildlife Dedication and found a special hideaway. The homes are exactly what you look at in the pictures and more! We taught one gal to flyfish right in the front yard and Steve caught a few fish right in the front stream. Wish for nothing when you go to cook and dine with your family or friends in their complete kitchen and deck. One definate thing came of this weekend, the guys were good friends before, and us gals hardly knew each other. But Jim and Kathys' vacation home made our stay a lifetime memory and lifetime friends of all of us together. We can't wait to do it again. Remember one thing in life ~ "You may never pass this way again, take time to enjoy" and Trout House Falls is the perfect place to do that! Thank you again for sharing your home with us. It was well worth the 15-hour drive to stay at Trout House Falls. The house was incredible and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We fed the trout and made Smores at the campfire by the water on the property. Local activities -- whitewater rafting, flyfishing, hiking, the Cherokee reservation, etc. -- made it an adventurous and fun family vacation. Brevard is an incredible, quaint little town (similar to Northampton or Amherst for Mass. residents), full of art, music and culture. There's something for everyone, and Trout House Falls is the best place to stay ... just like being at home, only better. We will definitely return and highly recommend the house to others. |

It is hard to exceed ones expectations, but the "Trouthosue Falls" did that exact thing when we arrived at the property. Hats off to a magnificant decorating job and all the thought and detail to everything the Sloan's did to make this rental property a great value. We hope you continue to add creative sites on your land. We'll be back Sincerely, The Calabrase's

We have been fortunate to be able to stay in your "Home" twice this year, once in the spring and again in the summer. We had a different set of guests on each occasion. Both visits turned out perfectly.
Our guests and we were elated to be able to be together in such wonderful surroundings. We truly felt at home in the house so tastefully, comfortably and well furnished. Outside we were in a different world from the one we usually live in. One with a clear mountain stream, meadow, wild flowers, trees and clean ever changing skies |

I discovered TroutHouseFalls on the internet and had to check it out for myself. We live in Charleston S.C.,a truly beautiful historic city, but the summers get quiet warm. Like most people we have very stressful lives. There never seems to be enough hours in a day. For three wonderful days we forgot business and problems and heat! We didn't even turn on the T.V. The cabin and house were everything we hoped for and more. We were removed from our everyday life and visited a true paradise. The forest, stream and waterfalls were so relaxing. If this sounds like your life, I would encourage you to take the time to visit. Jim and Kathy Sloan have everything perfect although with my Tennessee roots I sure would like to see a swing on the front porch. Thanks so much for a wonderful time and we'll see you again around March.

Our inspiration to create an ideal mountain home in a perfect setting of forest, streams and waterfalls resulted in a total renovation with the utmost attention to detail and comfort. From all areas of our Secluded Home you can see and hear the Private Trout Stream and Waterfalls.
It is our sincere hope that your stay here is a memorable one at "Trout House Falls".
