*** A Note From the Owners of Ka Hale Huna*** Along with the very comfortable suite for two you will also be welcomed with fresh flowers picked right out of my botanical gardens just for you, orchid plants in bloom that were grown in my shade house, and a fruit basket full of fresh local fruits, whatever happens to be in season at the time and will be replenished during your stay. If you love huge, buttery avocados then come during September through November. Just a few steps from your door you can pick your own tree ripened avocados.

| We LOVED Ka Hale Huna!! Char and Chris are an awesome couple and we look forward to seeing them again next year..if not sooner:) Ka Hale Huna is a tranquil beautiful place to stay. The interior is kept exceptionally clean. The view from the lanai with Waimea in the distance is fantastic. Char and Chris are very knowledgable and can give you advice on anything you may need. We LOVED the surf spots map in the kitchen (thanks). Ka Hale Huna is located in a great location..quick drive to most beaches:) The garden tour was great. Next time we WILL plant our own pineapple. Again-thanks for everything. |

| Had a great time. Chris and Char were very kind, attentive, and accomodating. Loved the fresh fruit from Char's garden and the champagne waiting in the fridge for us honeymooners was a nice and thoughtful touch. Perfect serene getaway off the beaten track. Not for those who want the constant commotion of Waikiki. |

What a wonderful tropical paradise! We truly had a relaxing time at Ka Hale Huna! The birds singing, fine misting rain, the cool breeze, apple bananas, passion fruit jam, are a few of our favorite things. Chris and Char were wonderful hosts, we feel like we made new friends that we look forward to seeing again. We would highly recommend it, if you just want to get away from it all. |

| Ka Hale Huna offered peaceful tranquility and beautiful views from our private lanai. Morning wake up calls were provided compliments of the tropical birds in the canopy just outside our door. We were welcomed with a basket of fresh fruit havested from Char's lovingly tended gardens, macadamia nuts, and 100% Kona coffee. The personal garden tour is not to be missed. Char's personal knowledge of the area proved quite valuable, as she provided advice on the best eateries and places to visit, often frequented by only the locals "in the know". We will most certainly return to Ka Hale Huna on our next visit to the North Shore. |

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you love peace and quiet, great sounds of nature, and all the comforts of home, with the feeling of being up in your secret penthouse overlooking the jungle AND the ocean in the distance, you'll love it. Fruit of the garden was great, too. |

| We had the opportunity to stay at Ka Hale Huna in January 2007. Char's Aloha hospitality made for a unique and enjoyable visit. She met us and welcomed us upon our arrival, presenting us with a fruit basket and homemade banana bread. Her special touches were evident in the fresh flowers in our room and in the atrium as well as an invitation to tour her beautiful garden. The studio was bright and comfortable with an amazing view of the treetops and ocean. Watching the rain sweep in and listening to the gentle drops on the canopy of trees from our lanai was great. If you want to appreciate Oahu off of the beaten path, this is an oasis to truly relax and enjoy. |

| Char - we had such a great time in our short stay on the north shore. The apartment was so comfortable. You are a gifted gardner and host. Our only complaint was to ourselves for not being able to extend our stay. We would love to come back. Next time we'll sit on the balcony to see if we can catch a green flash! |

I must say, as a resident of O'ahu, Ka Hale Huna is a fabulous retreat. As other guests have stated, we went away feeling like we left home, and long to return everytime we think about our vacation. Char has appointed the unit very well, and we made good use of the kitchen, bath, and beach supplies. The garden is amazing, day or night! We enjoyed the fresh fruits and flowers that decorated the suite. The views of the lush valley, ocean and sunsets are tireless. Hearing and watching the birds at dawn and dusk was such a treat. We brought our binoculars to watch their activities. We took the bird chart hiking at Waimea Valley Audobon Society and to the Pupukea trail, and had the privilege of sighting a baby white-rumped shama. The adults sing the prettiest songs, and you can hear them in the valley right outside the suite. It was a private and serene experience, just what a getaway should be - and so close to home! Mahalo nui, Char, for sharing your wonderful home with us. We look forward to many returns! |

Ka Hale Huna is just magnificant. It is more then I have expected, it is perfect. We did not want to leave...it was funny how often my husband and I called it HOME. It is located in an area that you can not ask for more visiting in Hawaii. Ka Hale Huna basically has Hawaii in its back yard. Everything is within your distance. And if you are honeymooners like us...you would like to rent Ka Hale Huna...you'll be thankful for this piece of advice. Thank You Char and your husband for making our stay fantastic!! Ka Hale Huna was far beyond what I could ever imagine. I felt as if I was living in a paradise in the lush mountain tropical forests with the ocean in view. Char is a very welcoming person. I felt pampered in the beautiful suite she prepared along with the most beautiful fruit basket from her botanical garden and delicious home-made banana bread. Sitting in her botanical garden provided mepeace and serenity. The convenient location to the beaches such as Pipeline and Sunset were great. Snorkeling at Shark's Cove ( no sharks there) was beautiful. The market and coffee house are conveniently located nearby. I highly recommend Char's place as if has it all with great privacy. |

| Char -- What an extra special place to stay when on the North Shore. It is like a home away from home, only with a beautiful view of the ocean and surroundings including the gardens. We truly enjoyed our stay and your extra touch with a basket of goodies. Your hospitality and your "Maka" made us feel so welcome. Your glassware is exquisite and sits in my new kitchen, a little reminder of you and your fantastic place. Mahalo, Ron & Joan |

| What a beautiful secret get away!! We woke up to birds singing and gentle breezes every day. This is a piece of Heaven on earth!! The apartment was immaculate and totally private. I have come away totally refreshed. It had to be one of the hardest things I've ever done to leave and go home to the "real world". This is quite the find...Thank you Char for your attention to details. I hope to be back some day. |

Char, We cant thank you enough for your contributions to our fabulous vacation. Everything from the clean, quiet serentiy of your little bungalow to great advice on what to see and where to go. We enjoyed our stay so much, are greatful to have been able to extended it by a week. It was a singular pleasure to sit on the deck and trace the Milky Way across the night sky, and to awaken each morning to birdsong and the rumble of distant surf. We look forward to seeing you, your peaceful beautiful house and our kids and granddaughter twice a year. Mahalo Nui Loa John & Holly |

Char, our stay at your rental was a wonderful retreat away from home. It's nice to be away from all the traffic & busyness of the metropolis. We liked the location - just minutes away are the beautiful North Shore beaches & the Historic town of Haleiwa. This was a neat town with trendy shops & restaurants. We also enjoyed the scenic drive down the windward side on our way to Hanauma Bay.
We were especially able to appreciate our rental home once we visited Waikiki with all the traffic & tourists. Ka Hale Huna exudes peace & relaxation!

| KaHale Huna was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets while sitting on the lanai outside the room. Waking up every morning to the sound of birds in the canyon, overlooking the ocean. Heaven !! Your homemade welcome basket of goodies was a nice treat, especially the banana nut bread. Shark's cove is just right down the street and is perfect for snorkeling. Char, your place was so, cute, charming and relaxing, I will recommend it to all my friends! Mahalo |

| KaHale Huna was a beautifuln quiet place to recuperate from work. Hardly any noises but birds and the distant surf. Would definitely like to go back again. Plenty of privacy, well appointed. Besides the beaches, one of the best views on Oahu is right near by: the heiau on the left side of the road as you head back down from the house to the shore. This ancient Hawaiian sacred site is well restored and still beautifully supplied with offerings. The view of the sea is awesome. The other thing to do is to go to the Boy Scout camp up at the end of Pupukea, and walk the trail through the forest: paper trees, interesting views of the hills. |

A great little nest located in the prestigious Pupukea foothills on the North shore of Oahu. Clinging to the side of a gorgous canyon over looking the flora and fauna of the lush tropical Hawaiian landscape the apartment has all the amenities of a five star hotel. With an ocean view to die for it is said that on a clear day you can see Lanai as well as the much sought after "Green Flash" associated with the magnificant Hawaiian sun set. A great place to "Hang Loose" and enjoy the solitude of nature, yet a short jaunt to the beach for fun in the sun. If golf and/or tennis are your bag,"Turtle Bay Resort" is only twenty munites away and of course the big city life of Honolulu is always an option. A class "A" establishment we highly reccommend. |

| Thank you Char for the wonderful stay we enjoyed at your "Castle in the Clouds" on the North Shore. Our stay in this perfect mountain hideaway allowed us to come away rested and rejuvenated. Your light and airy room is decorated in tranquil tones and in the spirit of Hawaii. The large bath is wonderful and the kitchenette with its basket of goodies was delightful. We enjoyed lazing on the decks with its fabulous views of trees and ocean. We were pleasantly awakened by the soft songs of the wild birds from the adjacent forested canyon and were fascinated with whale watching from our lounge chairs on the deck. We were surprised that this very private place of yours is just minutes from beaches, restaurants and shopping. The experience was wonderful, and the location a haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. |
