- Thank you for the great old house for our family reunion. The house & the property are wonderful. We played many outdoor games and had a bonfire at night to roast marshmallows. It has been awesome.
- We all loved the house and had the best time. I would like to come back many years from now and tell of the memories of our family reunion (13 years old).
- This is a beautiful old house. I have enjoyed making it my temporary home and it is well-equipped for many people.
- Our family reunion, held in Tummel House, was a joyous time. We made it our home for three days. It is a beautiful place and we filled it with lots of love and laughter. It will always be a special place for all of us.

This house is a great example of providing modern conveniences while retaining the historic character. My father remembered being here in the 1930's to work during harvest. A wonderful weekend for our families. The weather was hot so the air conditioner was appreciated! The house was large enough so we could all enjoy our meals, lounging and visiting together. We enjoyed the fresh air and sitting under the basswood tree - the sky in the evening was incredibly beautiful.

My parents found this gem of a place for us to stay while we attended their 60th wedding anniversary. Our first reaction to the place was what a grand, spacious, well-kept yard. Lots of room for the outdoor games, firepit party and exploration. Then we entered the house and "wow" was on all our lips. We love the upstairs hallway and all the great bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much for creating this place for everyone's pleasure.
P.S. Lots of bedroom space too and great bathrooms.

It was a wonderful week...Four moms and eight children all stayed here. It was a week of great food, fun adventures, and happy times. We all met in Madison, WI. A Canadian and three American friends. Our Canadian counterpart moved to Edmonton and another moved to St. Louis. In the frigid winter cold months we decided we needed to reconnect. So, after much searching we found Tummel House. It has been great! There's room to run and explore...many places to reconnect. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

It reads: "For a week in July, Tummel House was filled with fun and laughter as the Laird family gathered for a reunion....Vi's great grandcildren, all city kids, loved the acres of lawn for games and water fights. They had never been inside a hip roof barn, never stood at the edge of a canola field in full bloom and the fact that a bear had been seen lurking [in the area] only added to the excitement.
