| We were six people having the pleasure of staying in this condo three weeks in january 09. It's a bit tight to stay six people, as two people has to sleep on the couch - but four would be perfect. Never the less we really enjoyed this place and the rooftop hut-tub is super nice after a whole day of skiing! You need to have a car though if you want to go to the ski resorts, as there at this time only is one bus a day leaving from Radisson. We will definately consider renting this place again! |

Homeowner Response:
The couch referred too is a queen size pull out sofa bed in the open concept family room. With 6 adults the two adults on the sofa bed wouldn't have the same privacy as the people in the bedrooms. The sofa bed when folded in to a couch is the main seating area in the family room. With 3 weeks of folding the sofa bed in and out I can appreciate the comment that the unit started to feel a bit tight. The condo itself is about 950 Sq Ft (90 sq metres) in size.
We also recommend having a car to get to the ski resorts in the area.

Great 360 view of the mountains. Easy access to all amenities (groceries, liquor store) and a short walk to Main Street. Awesome skiing and boarding within a reasonable drive and relaxing open air hot tub to unwind in afterwards. I’d recommend this condo wholeheartedly and defiantly go back to discover more.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Canmore. The scenery is spectacular from every angle, and I love the location--nestled in among the mountains. The shops were quaint and plenty, as well as the numerous restaurants within walking distance. I would love to stay again one day soon. |

Great cozy place nestled in the mountains with a fantastic view. The Condo is within walking distance of Canmore’s best shops and restaurants. It is a short drive to Banff and it truly was the home away from home that made our trip that much more amazing. Thank-you so very much.

Travelling the globe we always try to find ski-in / ski-out accommodation. Having researched and ascertained that this type of accommodation is extremely limited in the Banff area changed our approach, and what a revelation it was !
Having a vehicle on hand meant that we could pick and choose which location to ski on any given day. Waking up and checking the snow reports clearly showed how the snow-gods roll the dice even on ski areas located relatively close to each other, enabling us to pick our hills and put in the best powder-days we'd ever skiied.
Canmore is literally 2 minutes from the Banff park gates, and only a few more to the town of Banff. The access roads to the ski areas at Norquay and Sunshine are a short drive further, my wife was more than happy to drop the family off for a day's skiing so she could sight-see and shop in & around Banff.
If you're a member of the jet-set and your idea of a holiday is swanning around in a fur coat & bling, then stay in Banff. If however you prefer practicality, value and flexibility, then hire a vehicle and stay in Canmore.
Moreover, stay at Canmore Crossing. The facilities are great, all amenities are walking distance, and it's just a really nice space to holiday in.
Finally, any sensible person should have concerns with purchases made over the internet. In this case the owner is trustworthy, honest, helpful and reliable. Acceptance of credit cards provides additional confidence, and there is a well organised local management contact in case of any issues, (redundant due to the property being new and well maintained) |

We love the Canmore/Banff/Kananaskis area and believe we've set up our home away from home in one of the best possible areas. We've tried to make the unit feel like home with extras like a picnic basket, extra pillows, warm duvets, DVDs, CD's, books, the unit goes far beyond any hotel you'll find in the area and most other rental homes. We hope you love the place as much as we do.

"The condo was absolutely fabulous. It was cozy and convenient with all the modern amenities we could possibly want. It was the perfect location for going out at night in Canmore as well as easy access to Banff Park and the various ski hills. We especially liked the roof top hot-tub. It was a great way to relax after a day on the slopes."
