We loved our stay there. The view was unbelievable. We could have just spent our entire vacation on the deck. We did go into the park several times on hikes and got to see 7 bears. We have had a foreign exchange student with us this year from Uruguay and he really enjoyed the cabin too. He was amazed at how big it was and the view too. We have told several of our friends about the cabin and they may be checking into renting it sometime.
We would like to come down there again this summer perhaps. We really enjoyed it and it was so peaceful and quiet there.

Thank you so very much for sharing your cabin with us. After staying in the area last year, I knew that one thing we were looking for was a view. WOW, did we get what we were looking for at Cub House. It’s so nice to be able to see out so far from just about anywhere in the house. To be able to see the mountains in this way is uplifting. It does good things for your soul to be able to spend an entire week there and relax. Our family will never forget our time there and the fun that we had. All thanks to you!

| Your cabin was so AWESOME...the view from the decks was spectacular! We had a great 22nd anniversary celebration. We enjoyed the hot tub...great scenery during the day and night. The master bedrooms were very comfortable...we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. The den and kitchen were very roomy. We enjoyed the gas fireplace the entire week. We took advantage of the well stocked kitchen and gas grill by cooking many of our meals. We also took advantage of the exercise bike. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin! |

Hey Peggy,
Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin. We really enjoyed our stay and the little bit of snow we got to see. The cabin is laid out really well. Having the full baths and king beds in all the bedrooms really eliminated any arguing over who slept where. The only thing that I can say needs any attention is to make sure that there are extra trash bags in the kitchen. We couldn't find one anywhere. However, if that's the only improvement that I can see then it just speaks to what a nice place it is. I'll keep your name and number handy for the next time we are planning a trip that way. We normally get up there atleast once a year and your cabin suited our needs perfectly. Look forward to doing business with you again.

Your cabin was so beautiful. And the view was spectacular.
Very easy to get to but far enough away from town that you have peace and quiet and the sky is dark enough to view the stars and darkened mountain range silhouette from the back deck in the fresh cool air from the hot tub.
Not to mention the decorations in the house. Even as I was leaving I noticed more things that I hadn't noticed before and we had been there for days.
plenty of kitchenware for the home cooked meals, even a hand crank can opener which other places I had stayed at before forgot to include. Cleaning up after yourself is not a chore, it's a pleasure in a house as beautiful as yours. We had a great 27th anniversary trip and plan to come back to your cabin again. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. You were a pleasure to rent from. And did I mention the view was just spectacular!

Hello Peggy,
The cabin was beautiful and very peaceful. We did not get to spend alot of time there but the view is great and the family enjoyed showing off their "talents" playing pool. The bedrooms were great and the bathrooms were amazing!

Well,,,sad but true,,,this is our last night here. We want you to know how much we have enjoyed this beautiful cabin. Its been wonderful. We went to Cades Cove yesterday,,saw TONS of deer but not one bear. Maybe next year. We did have some raccoons visit frequently. Had a small chipmunk on the porch and a beaver in the wood outback.
Enjoyed them all.
Once again a great big thank you to you. We enjoyed it. It just went by way too quick.

We had a wonderful time this past weekend.
Mom and Dad went up Thursday evening late with my Bother in Law and Sister in Law.
Thanks for allowing them to go on ahead.
My husband and I met them there on Friday.
The views from the back decks were just beautiful - we cold not believe all the snow!
The cabin layout was perfect for us.
Dad has trouble getting around sometimes and the bedroom on the main floor was wonderful for him.
And of course we couples liked having our own space downstairs too. Everyone commented on how large all of the bathrooms were!
We spent a lazy rainy day on Friday and then shopped til we dropped on Saturday. Just hated to leave on Sunday!
Like I said, the space was perfect and we will definately keep your contact information for the future.
We discovered that we need more time on our next trip because there is so much to do there.
There was nothing that we noticed in the cabin that needed repair.
Thanks so much for everything and we hope to be contacting you again soon!

This was our second stay at your wonderful cabin.
We have enjoyed the lovely views at different
seasons and the days in the mountains are always
breathtaking. The cabin is perfect for relaxing.
The views are awesome. I enjoy just relaxing on
the deck with a good book, taking in the view and
the clean mountain air--just waiting for a bird or
another animal to come into my line of sight. The
cabin has everything a person could possibly need
to have a wonderful time. This is certainly one of
the best rentals in Tennessee. |

| What a wonderful peaceful place to stay. The view is spactacular with the double level deck with hotub. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The three bedrooms were not only spacious but gave us privacy and the luxury of our own jacuzy. Highly recommend this cozy place in the mountains. |

We had a wonderful time!!!! We wished we could of stayed longer. The cabin was awesome. We heard we actually missed the ice and snow this past week. But that's o.k. the babies are to small for all of that. Dollywood was a fun time. You have a beautiful cabin and we have told everyone how nice it was and would definitely recommend to all of our friends with big families.It will be a Christmas that we will always remember that we spent as a family. I hope 2008 is a GREAT year for you and your family. It was a great pleasure to work with you.

We had a great weekend and LOVED the cabin! Everything was wonderful, and your Christmas decorations were really something! (Julie made a small ornament and added it to your tree!) The weather couldn’t have been better – not a cloud in the sky all weekend! We took lots of hikes and even saw elk (near Cherokee) and a bear (near Chimney Tops picnic area). The kitchen worked wonderfully to prepare our Turkey dinner, too! And, the view from the balcony was so beautiful. I have to admit that I took a nap on the glider Thanksgiving afternoon after our feast! So peaceful and relaxing!
If our schedule works out, we would like to rent again for next Thanksgiving. Julie will be a Junior next year, so I’m not sure if we will have to be visiting colleges during the break, but if not, we would love to be there again! I’ll try to contact you in early summer to see if it works out.

I spoke to my parents
several times over the weekend, they did say how great a time they had, and how much they enjoyed your place. They came away VERY impressed with how nice it was, and suggested that we do a family thing down there sometime in the

The cabin was outstanding! Everyone really enjoyed their time. The kids had a blast in the hot tub, and the parents enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everything worked like a dream from the hot tub to the grill. I definitely plan to use your resort again in the future. The kids found the games in the closet, and played downstairs for hours. I saw the Nora Roberts books in one of the closets. That happens to be one of my wife’s favorite authors. A novel from her or Daniel Steel is always resting around the house. Anyway, my family extremely enjoyed our stay and hopes to visit your cabin again in the future.

We enjoyed the stay at your cabin very much. The party for my mother was great fun, and we were all very comfortable in the accommodations. The view is breathtaking, and we all enjoyed the porch since the weather was fabulous. My husband enjoyed the hammock and I LOVED the bath tub. We took several drives through the park, had a picnic, and did one hike up to Laurel Falls. My daughter and her husband went to the outlets, but other than that we prettym uch stayed in and enjoyed the cabin itself. I hope we left everything in good shape (we tried to). Thanks, again, for letting us use it!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at your house, and I really want to thank you for all you’ve done to accommodate us! The views were beautiful; we especially loved how private it was being on a dead end. The chalet is so bright & sunny, and I can see how it would be your ‘baby’! We loved waking up and seeing the sun shining in throughout the house. Our girls also loved all the bear decorations, so I apologize for any that might be out of place!
If there were any suggestions on an already perfect experience, I would say a rocker or porch swing for the back deck would be perfect! Other than that, I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything was so relaxing!
Thanks again! We would love to stay there again this winter!
